Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

The New Matt Fisher has already been suspended for creating new redirects to creator pages from main, and may not have read the Ask The Tropers thread where his name was mentioned like I told him to do. Also, I thought it was OK to have a Creator page without tropes on it, just listing their works, but apparently they can be cutlisted (according to Wilbyr, judging by his recent cutlist activity.)

Keeper of The Celestial FlameThat seems out of order. As Fighteer wrote nine months ago, "Creator articles do not need trope lists or extensive biographies."
From what I could tell, it was basically a couple of sentences and a list of works. Essentially, an "excuse page" just so they could list all the works, or something like that. A properly made page would probably have made the cut. (Or not have been cut.)
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettFighteer agreed with the cuts (see Ask The Tropers, where I ask the question.) They were, essentially "is an actor born in X and has been acting since Y, here is a list of works:"
9 months ago we were in the middle of the namespace migration, which will end next year, some parts (usefulnotes and creator pages) may end before December 31st 2014.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameToday's worklist:
- Digimon Legacy: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Mikagura School Suite: Is this a Light Novel?
- Skipping School: Only 5 good examples, no wicks and an unsuccesful indexing attempt.
Mikagura School Suite says it's a series of songs that became a light novel and then a manga. If the plots to all three are similar enough, it can stay where it is (based on my current understanding of the Franchise/ namespace - the move would be either to Music or Web Animation in any case if the description is correct.)
Keeper of The Celestial FlameAnother worklist:
- Death Of The Multiverse: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Fatal Frenzy: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Pamela Or Virtue Rewarded: A stub article with unclear purpose by ~Tropers/{{009bear}}; ~Earl of Sandvich already cutlisted it.
- Self Insert Evangelion: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Troubled Mentor: Trope with insufficient material and no YKTTW by ~fantasydoll.
^^Actually, Franchise/ under the current usage is only when at least 3 different mediums have their own pages. That page doesn't qualify.
And apparently I had some attention deficit going on and didn't notice that the canned messages work for stub tropes as well. Gah. Messaged the editor in ^ as well with that.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlright, say I want to put a description of Galacticraft (a relatively smaller mod) with some facts on this wiki. What is the first thing I should do? I looked at the fanfics page and it doesn't seem very easy to add to right now because it has nothing about mods and looks like this.
H.B. WardToday's worklist is brief:
- Tales From Fort Blackburn/Characters.Tales From Fort Blackburn: When moving a page, please make sure that you Cut List the old articles, ~TheJ0ker.
- Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories: Stub work page; creator messaged.
As for Life After Lucy, I am inclined to cut and perhaps move the trope lists to work pages on their own.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAt the risk of sounding pushy, some items on @2248 still need more input. I'll explicitly ask for a cut on Characteristic Tropes since it's a mish-mash of characterization tropes and event tropes and I doubt that the description applies to the entries of the latter.
Worklist for today:
- Characters.Hoozukino Reitetsu: Tropeless and unindexed character page; by ~bfire227.
- Life After Lucy: So ... opinions?
- Resident Evil: Revelations 2: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Travis: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Weapons.Destiny: Not even sure if that should have a page here; calling ~The New Plague.
- X Ray Move: Stub trope launched without YKTTW; also, you'd think that Nintendoman01 knew about launching pages in a bad state by now.
My bad, I should've gone through YKTTW. But wouldn't it be a bit conveniant to get it up and going, moving weapon tropes to the page? Or should we just set up a folder on the main page?
From what I know with the page on Team Fortress 2, is that they have a page for weapons, so I assumed it would be a good idea for Destiny as well.
We're all equal, but differ in thought and logic.Okay, so... Weapons.Destiny is a page listing the various weapons in VideoGame.Destiny.
Seems comically unnecessary. Cut.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. It's rude to ignore the person above you, who actually made that page.
The page is actually at Items.Team Fortress 2, and the list does need a few ZCE's removing, but describes what the weapons do fairly adequately for a non-player for most of them. I don't see the need for a standard shooter to have a weapons list, Team Fortress 2 has a Golden Frying Pan you can repair buildings with if you're an engineer.
Also, TF 2 has been split into multiple different pages for its trope list already, the items subpart may have been moved into its own section from there.

Keeper of The Celestial FlameLife After Lucy - cut. If people who know can split it into Life With Lucy and others, then fine. But I'm sure that would have been done by now if anyone could.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameToday's worklist features the following:
- Forever: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Mikagura School Suite: Still needing input on the namespace question.
- Characters.Riseof Kings: This page needs indexing and a few tropes too, ~Sam Sakurai. Thanks in advance.
- Skipping School: Page hasn't improved much yet and still has too few examples, no indexing and no crosswicking.
- Weapons.Destiny: The page has been expanded quite a bit.
Just saw this recent item: We Still Talking About Pie Right. Seeing as it's a stub under a line of dialogue title, I would suggest to cut it straightaway and to ask ~terry78 to run it through YKTTW.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAs long as Life After Lucy has been put on the cutlist, I've gone through and removed the wicks the article's creator tried to add to other articles. As has been observed here already, those three programmes should get separate articles. (I'm not volunteering; I saw a handful of episodes of The Lucy Show about twenty years ago, and have never seen either Here's Lucy or Life with Lucy.)
Today's worklist:
- Dare Devil: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Geometry Dash: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- Pandora: Stub work page; creator messaged.
~Nintendoman01, ~fantasydoll and ~terry78, in the future when making tropes you may want to use YKTTW - a lot of issues (bad names and insufficient examples) can be addressed this way.
I have also cutlisted a few old pages from here, although some need more input.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's a bit older than our usual stuff, but this still seemed like the best place to deal with this:
- Franchise. The Vomit Gore Trilogy: First, wrong namespace. Secondly, taking away the ZC Es and bad examples, there's two, maaaaaaaaaaybe three actual examples. Thirdly, do we want the page at all?
Two good trope examples, yes. I'd be inclined to cut.
Regarding your third question, you know, I feel obliged to ask why people say "Why do we need X?" instead of actually offering their argument ("It's creepy and possibly in violation of the Content Policy" in this case, I presume). It's a much weaker argument to make. Anyhow, I would think that said question's up to the 5P. Unrelated to the issue, but still worth noting, that topmost discussion post is something that we rather ought not to have.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanUnless we can find someone willing to watch the films and flesh out the examples, it needs to go on the pragmatic grounds that it's a stub. If someone is willing to flesh it out, only then do the content rules come in to play. As it stands, there's really no content to judge.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.^^ I got rid of the discussion entry. Thanks for spotting it.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.^Thanks, Mrs. Fox. Seems like the 5P already sent the page to the "works we don't want to have a page on" club though.
Anyhow, worklist:
- The Addams Family: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- The Dan Young Animated Show: Stub work page; creator messaged.
- One-Man Song: For once, a YKTTW-free trope that doesn't look bad at first glance. Only question would be whether we worry about the entries that don't explain who the person-the-name-comes-from is.
- Rejection and Revenge: Stub work page; creator messaged.
I just messaged the creator of Burt Reynolds about it being a stub.
