Prematurely launched pages and pages that weren't fully fleshed out at the point of launching, are a big problem. Since these usually share several problems at once, this thread is aimed at re-running them through the TLP for fixing - the usual fix - or cutting them if they are too bad.
Problems this thread deals with include bad names, not enough/bad examples, unclear description, etc.
For the interested, here's a list of recently created pages. Launches
Note: Please do not request a mod to unlaunch drafts that don't have any issues besides lacking a launch notice/24hr launch notice. While 24hr launch notices are mandatory, there are a few exceptions to the rule. If you see a draft's sponsor launch a TLP without an announcement, it's best to remind them of our TLP Guidelines first. If they continue to repeatedly launch drafts without a launch notice, you can report them on Ask The Tropers or the TLP Community Issues thread.

How long am I gonna be suspended?
Suspensions are addressed in this topic.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"As someone who participated in the discussion for Fauxrrari — and since there wasn't an explanation as to why it's been brought up — I'd like to ask what's wrong with it. The heart of the trope was discussed, and it seems to be a valid subtrope of Bland-Name Product (such as iPhony or A.K.A.-47). The title was discussed, and people didn't seem to have a particular problem with it. There seems to be enough examples to justify a split. Moreover, the launcher did (just barely) participate in the discussion, and the draft got a bump from the sponsor in early December to no replies.
I vote keep, unless there's a convincing argument not to keep.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyRe: Fauxrarri
Agreed. It seems mature enough.
My potential issue is that I think it should be common courtesy for YKTTW sponsors to say that they're going to launch in a bump before they launch.
... actually, adding that functionality (giving them a star when they get bumped asking if they're ready to launch?) would be a wonderful feature, though I'm sure it'd be a pain to implement.
That said, this particular example is fine.

Hop on over to this page and add them. While I agree that it's courteous, just like in real life we cannot expect everyone to know "common" courtesies. It's nice and polite, but it isn't exactly written in the guidelines. And I say the following because there was a push last year against bureaucracy: Courtesies are often arbitrary and imposed by people "in the know" to differentiate themselves from amateurs and "other people." Just because somebody didn't adhere to courtesy shouldn't automatically mean there's a problem, though for this particular courtesy, it often does mean there is some problem (so I understand why we report such instances in the first place). My point being that if there isn't any additional problem, then what exactly is the problem? I would say that, in such a case, nothing would be the problem... though it may warrant keeping an eye on the launcher for sprees and rogue launches (where they don't contribute anything but launch it anyway).
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyHence why I'm looking for more institutional solutions rather than unlaunch this one on principle.
Noting here that Roleplay.Deluxe High is still an unindexed stub after messaging the creator when they made an orphaned character page for it. I send them a stub notifier for this page and they've made no attempt to expand it.

Tarhalindur had also not participated in the trope's development at all before launching it.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Thank you Fighteer
@5784: Time to cut it, then.
@5785: If they haven't participated, then they need a shoulder tap. I'm okay with sending it back.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope Report- Eighteen Days To Graduation was created by new account ~Cececat1. It has improper formatting, no description, no indexing, and no crosswicks.
The article was probably written by the author. The book was self-published and the English version is listed as "out of print" on Amazon (it's available as an eBook). So at least it exists. I'll add something as the description, though it'll still be a stub (I'm unfamiliar with this work).
Note that Cececat added Jerkass Woobie, an Audience Reaction "trope."

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyThey PM'ed me saying it's "okay to delete the page", although that makes no sense if it's an actual, published work.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"They might have interpreted your post as implying that their edits were unacceptable to the point of justifying cutting, just like a thesis or job application which is denied rather than fixed.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI mean, if you sent them the "Stub" notifier, it specifically says something along the lines of "if it's not fixed, then it may be deleted."
And if he's not going to fix it, well, that page has no right to exist without someone fixing all the examples and giving it a description.

Etika W Network has two tropes sent stub notifier
UsefulNotes.Brisbane doesn't have much in the way of content
VisualNovel.Kenka Bancho Otome and WebOriginalFiction.Winter Moon were made by the same account but they are kinda weirdly formatted - like a Characters/ page
I don't think WebOriginalFiction/ is even a valid namespace. I think Literature/ is used for original online fiction in addition to printed books.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Funny.The Tick 2016 has a picture and nothing else
Notifier sent.
Edit: Checked again, and looks like there are actual examples now. Of course, there are some empty folders, but some do have entries that make the page worth keeping.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWesternAnimation.Groove Squad was created yesterday and is a Wikipedia copy-paste job on top of having no examples. The troper who did it, ~TMNT Fan Girl, also made an mostly-empty Characters page (only has folders containing character pictures) and a incorrectly designed Laconic page to boot. This was brought to my attention in the copy-paste cleanup thread, but I decided due to the other issues to bring it up here.
Also, for reference's sake, a forum search indicates they petitioned in this thread for help with examples. Make of this what you will.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)I reported that thread yesterday, as it wasn't a proper thread to discuss the work.
That said, they clearly need a lot of help in explaining the rules and such. They're very enthusiastic about it, but have no bearing on our culture or rules yet.
TMNT Fan Girl added some examples after a stub notifier was sent but the description is the same so maybe a light tap on the shoulder about copying other sites

Headscratchers.Treehouse TV is for channel and seems very complainy about real life - "It's not like YTV had a problem screwing over a girl show before"
Literature.Concept Of Islam has no tropes and it doesn't look like anything tropable
Solomon Fix has no tropes, I did a check and noticed that the page creator also made a number of pages for works by Doug TenNapel without tropes
New Beginning has only two ZCE examples, it also got some weird sub-pages like FanWorks.New Beginning which is a bunch of uploaded pictures
Sonic Exe Remake is a copy of the page template, sent stub notifier
Phantom Thread has no tropes, sent stub notifier
Sdorica Sunset has a one line description and no tropes, sent stub notifier
Somebody has launched Fauxrrari and Resurrection Teleportation.
