Are you reffering to my post of the anime League?
For shame, Doctor Crocodile, how could you dare forget Jerry Cornelius in your 60's League?!
Really? Allow me to rectify that then.
There ya go. Much better.
^^^^ I am telling Eva-kun why no one who knows who the kid is wants to include Negi.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!And I don't quite understand what you're getting at.
Akamatsu Ken is slightly fucked up about women and he's only a medium talent. As such, Negi, despite being a sweet kid who really doesn't deserve the shit thrown at him by his author, is tainted by that author's touch. Hence, on the one side you've got people who don't care about anime/manga, and on the other you've got me, someone who does care a lot but hates Akamatsu's work to the extent that it irritates me to be reminded that Love Hina and Mahou Sensei Negima exist.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Huh. First time I've seen someone who had it in for the guy's work, but whatever.
Despite reading and watching many anime/manga, I haven't heard of Negi. Hence his exclusion from my league.
I'm actually quite tempted to write a fanfic about that league, but I'm writing enough as it is so I'll probably wait until either I finish an existing story or I have more free time on my hands
So you actually want to base a Fic around my Anime League?
Not sure which league yet, but one of the ones on this forum
Here's a new League, a League of alternate timelines.
This League was assembled by millionaire inventor and part time asshole, Sir Reginald Hargreeves, to combat a clique of otherworldly monsters from taking over the world in 2123, the members were as follows.
- Sam, a time traveling gunslinger who was intercepted on his way back in time to save the world from an alien invasion, after he served in the League he was sent back to the time he was heading to in order to keep the world safe.
- Professor Moriarty, a criminal mastermind who retired after becoming a vampire, Hargreeves convinced him to come in once he'd made it apparent that his life was at stake just as much as the others.
- Robert Autumn, explorer from an alternate timeline where mankind decided to use martian technology to advance their own in 1899, recruited from their fifties after England suffered a devastating attack at the hands of the Martians.
- Joseph Capelli, a soldier from an alternate timeline where man was entrenched in a devastating war against aliens for decades. He joined because Hargreeves promised him a hyrbid disease to kill the Chimera with.
- An average dwarf paladin named Kore from another world (amongst which exist the other timelines), he was brought on because he was the strongest (but not by much) paladin to actively hunt Great Old Ones, during the journey he found some odd weapons and went mad. By the time he got home he became obsessed with killing everything that wasn't a human, a dwarf or an elf, to the point where people 'tainted' by other races were seen as possible victims.
- Dr. Gordon Freeman, a brilliant scientist with a powerful suit of armor and no ability to speak (due to an accident in his youth), was taken from an alternate timeline where aliens took over the world, was taken and returned during his sleep and believed the whole thing to be a dream.
- A man who called himself Fallout, a man from an alternate timeline where nuclear war ravaged the Earth, joined because the Old Ones were starting to fall into his timeline as well.

Okay, so...
- Luna Lovegood
- Sonika
- Bridget Jones
- The Stig
- Someone from Primeval, if a fan of the series could tell me who'd be best.
- Mari Illustrious Makinami - perhaps one that fell through a slipstream, perhaps one who's merely insane and thinks she was an Eva pilot. She's half-English and was raised in Britain, so I'd say she counts.
- Man, why can't I think of any more? I don't wanna include the Torchwood crew, fuck those kids. And I've never seen The Sarah Jane Adventures.
Anyone know of any British sci fi or fantasy guys? Maybe someone from Perdido Street Station, if that's set in the UK? Preference goes to male characters, since I have enough girls already.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!I love these latest two leagues. As Primeval characters go, only two of the original members are still in the series (Connor and Abby). As for that last slot, if you're not using Torchwood or the Sarah Jane adventures, how about a (non-Doctor) character from Doctor Who? A former companion would be useful, but why stop there? If you want someone with Doctor-like qualities but who isn't the Doctor, what about River Song? What if Dalek Caan had survived the flames and escaped the Crucible? If you're looking for actual British people, though, you may have to rewind back to what I said earlier about companions.
We've thought up a lot of ideas for modern leagues and less modern but still post-WWII leagues, but what about a future league?
Hmm. Which future? Future with aliens or without?
I wanted to include Ace, but I'm not sure what happened to her when she left the show - I hear she spent a bit of time on Gallifrey, but I don't know if that's true or not.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!It's true most futures shown in fiction are either different in how far in the future or would seem somewhat contradictory towards each other. I guess you'd have to work out which futures could co-exist first.
1.) Jean-Luc Picard
2.) The Spy
4.) Strong Bad
5.) Duke Nukem
6.) Gordon Freeman
7.) The player character from [[Battlefield Battlefield]] 2142
Villain: Kirby

^ What about the Spies?
I'm kinda bummed now that The Quantum Thief doesn't work with anything but Firefly, practically, just because its Mars is so far as I know unique in all of sci fi.

A True Lady's Quest - A Jojo is You!Kirby's too adorable and heroic to be the villian...
Then obviously you've never seen There Will be Brawl.
So you're thinking of that Kirby and not proper Kirby? I see. It makes sense how he can be a villian in that case
And now, a Teen Titans esque version of the League, specifically in the sense that all the members are teenagers or younger
Formed in 2012 by a 17 year old, highly inventive prodigy named Kevin McCallister, he'd found a mysterious book labeled '4' and discovered the existence of a very large number of secret societies that posed a great threat to Earth. Kevin was going to try and find someone in the government to try and investigate this but realized that adults usually don't believe these kinds of things, so he looked for a group of people who could help him destroy some of these villains. The people he found were.
- JFK's Clone, a clone of the famous American president. He was made by a military project that raised him in a high school with the clones of many other, famous, historical, figures. He and the whole faculty were frozen for unknown reasons, unlike them however JFK escaped when they began separating the clones in their ice and the ice contained him thawed by accident. Having escaped the facility holding him he wandered through Chicago until Kevin found and took him in. During his stay at Kevin's house he ended up entering his service once he found out that the clones were made for world conquest.
- Hit-Girl, an ultraviolent superhero from New York, she was in prison for the many murders she'd committed, Kevin broke her out and convinced her to serve him.
- Danny Fenton, half ghost superhero, recruited to balance out Hit-Girl, his vast power and his experience with the undead.
- Dipper Pines, finder of a book similar to the one Kevin found, joined in hopes of solving the mystery of Gravity Falls.
- Dash Parr, super fast superhero from Metroville, recruited for his power and connections in the superhero community.
- Penny Forester, former actress and Amateur sleuth, learned about how to be a detective from a former detective, ended up in Kevin's League due to a murder she investigated. She's also Dash's girlfriend.
The main villains this League fought were secret societies, which included Ravenwood, The Templars (who also started the Clone High project), Do-It-Or-Die, and The League of Shadows.

... Screw it. Had this bouncing in my head for a while. The League of Extraordinary Authors, set in an alternate universe where tons of works don't exist as fiction but rather as historical events. The Creators who made these works however have ties to their work, such as ancestral connections or heirlooms passed down.
- Masashi Kishimoto: A traveler who seeks to find peace in a world at war, Kishimoto utilizes an old scroll he had from his father to preform Jutsus in his quest.
- Eiichiro Oda: A pirate who sailed to Japan to sell his treasures he obtained on his adventures before he joined Kishimoto in his quest for peace. One of the more adventure-loving people, Eiichiro goes with the flow of almost any adventure, but has a strict Thou Shall Not Kill motto, not because killing is sinful, but because he takes his fancies breaking people's dreams instead. Has bit into the Gomu Gomu Fruit and thus has Rubber Man powers.
- Tite Kubo: An expert in the art of Kendo, he lends his skills to Kishimoto's quest simply because he's bored. He's mostly a show-off, using cool and dazzling sword maneuvers to attack his foes, though like Eiichiro, he doesn't give a crap about what happens, so long as he smashes some faces in and shows how awesome he is.
- Akira Toriyama: One of the first people Kishimoto goes to for his quest, as he knows he's been in a war before. He's a blend of the three above. He's Adventure-loving, tends to show off his powerful Ki-attacks, and wishes to seek peace, though believes the Dragonballs would grant that wish. Despite his fierce fighting style, he's actually one of the nicer guys of the bunch.
- Go Nagai: Nagai is... weird. He has a Superpower Lottery, and thus has access to both a Humongous Mecha and a Noble Demon to summon and do his bidding. His exact motive is weird too, just tagging along with the crowd for no reason. He has Laser-Guided Amnesia, which explains his sketchy powers.
- Ken Akamatsu: He's a playboy, regardless of if he wants the attention or not, especially since his wife is around to drag him out for his Unwanted Harem antics. He joins Kishimoto just to get away from the women, but it seems he is irresistible.
- Gen Urobuchi: The Sixth Ranger who joins after he gets defeated by the group. He has a very strong moral system and is pretty much a contrast to nearly all the members, though mostly Eiichiro, since he is cynical and believes that killing is necessary if it means saving a bunch of lives. He's one of the only creators to have met their works face to face, as he possesses the Thompson Contender, which he stole off of Kiritsugu.
And for the villain? Two words: Hideaki Anno. He's gone through a Despair Event Horizon after receiving a vision of the future which will end in everyone dying. His plans are to kill anyone that might trigger the apocalypse, and takes in people who think that the world is corrupt, such as Urobuchi, and Mohiro Kitoh.

That reminds me of an idea I had where a Five-Man Band would go out and do awesome stuff... with the caveat being that they were all voiced by the same actor. Actually might work well with LXG.
Here's the Spike Spencer League, who was assembled by Marth to protect Earth from the forces of darkness.
- Ginta Toramizu: The Hero, a young man who experienced the same dream of a fairytale world over two hundred times before eventually going there. After saving the fairytale world, Ginta returned to Earth, and fights alongside Babbo.
- Shinji Ikari: The group's moral conscience, striving to keep the sociopaths and monsters around him in check. He has the ability to summon his Evangelion in times of need.
- Papillon: A hyperintelligent superhuman who can manipulate gunpowder into butterflies for use as timed bombs or for flight. Puts his own life and ambitions above everything else, and believes that anyone who doesn't is a hypocrite.
- Arakune: a sludge-like Eldritch Abomination that contains a massive insect horde; joined the League believing that they would eventually lead him to the source of all knowledge. Is the League's most powerful member overall.
- Rolo vi Britannia: A skilled assassin with the power to halt others' perception of time. Tends to favor knives in practice, though he has no true preference.
- Saburo Togusa: a Badass Normal and the team's driver. Do NOT mess with his van.
The first villain would be Takuma, a terrorist who commands a mecha called Behemoth and is Not So Different from Shinji in that their actions are both driven by need of approval from others.
I've also put some thought into Leagues for Yuri Lowenthal, Crispin Freeman, and Johnny Yong Bosch - I'll get to those later in the day.
^^^ Akamatsu is worse than Takahashi. At least Takahashi doesn't throw tsunderekko at likeable young men.
