Memorable OC's in Fan Fiction.:
Historically, Original Characters in Fan Fiction have been treated with a strong feeling of dislike. But what about the exceptions? The purpose of this thread is to list and describe your favourite OC's from fan fics that you have read. Who are they? What did you like about them? I'll start with mine: Ophellia Karait from Hogwarts Houses Divided Who is she: the female prefect of Slytherin house. Why do I like her: Its hard to describe exactly, but there's just something about the way she carries herself that just commands respect whenever she enters a room.
Evil-Smiting UmbrellaLucia van Alstyne of White Rain.
slowly but surely / the moon / quietly goes to the stars
What did you like about him?
Real World. He is, by no means, a likable character, and is actually the Fic's villain. What makes him memorable is that he is a psycho, doing things such as bringing fictional characters to the real world, while not caring about the chance that they will die; but there is his backstory, involving being bullied and the death of his actress mother when he was still a child. In other words, a Jerk Ass who may or may not have crossed into Complete Monster, but somewhat sympethetic.
Princess Ymir's knightessBritney, that evil prep from My Immortal!
War ALWAYS changes. Man does not.Little Pip, the protagonist from Fallout: Equestria. I love her to bits. I wouldn't say I have much in common with her but the first bit of that story I read had me feeling that I had just came home. She is kind, loyal and seriously messed-up, and if you hurt her friends or are a slaver, she will fucking end you.
Pokémon Master. A blonde haired Light Master who is the 'twin sister' of Mistaria Waterflower in-story (who got Drunk on the Dark Side) and has a white Pikachu that turns into a white katana. She's not pure despite her element being Light and is one of the bad guys. It turns out She's Mistaria's 'dark' side

You are a Innocent Uke! Cute and sweet of all ukes! my profile
BookendsUzuri from Total Drama Letterz. She's a fan of SAW, likes burning ants, and is about one of the kindest, sweetest characters on the island.
Fare Thee Well.
Violet Potter from the fanfic Destiny Reversed (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2507697/1/Destiny_Reversed ). Somehow the more I read it the more authentic she felt. She's the younger child of Lily and James Potter (in a world where they survived) , a prankster and the best friend of the Boy Who Lived, but she works because she's there to play her part nothing more. And she does it wonderfully. She has issues and she has flaws.
Avalon from Fly Or Fall. She's the Fairy of Tools and she's a Tomboy who always rushes into things headfirst. She also happens to be rather amusing!

One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor.
X-ALL!Abigail from Dauntless, her Character Development is amazing.
OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!John Freeman, for being balls out Awesome. The entire non-In Name Only cast of HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
That's Mr Banana Beak to you, fuzzy.
Animation AddictOh dear fucking lord. Where do I start? Groucho the duck and Chico the raccoon from Total Drama Comeback . Yes, they're animals, but still... Nathan, Alex, Ella, Emily, Antonio, Felicia (a little slanted because she's my oc), Draco, and Vulcan from Total Drama Theme Park by Zero Mason. Hell, any of the O Cs in that story, save for Vivica. Tina from Total Drama Dictionary.
I'll stand and fight until the day they put me in the ground.
Pat. St. of Archive BingeAshley of The Open Door because out of the whole freakshow of the frontline of new!Chaos, she's a likeable example of a normal teenage girl... piloting an Evangelion. Plus, she makes a great team with Scipio. First character I've considered writing a continuation for.
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
BFS EnthusiastThere was this one female Chessmaster in an old fanfic I remember reading, called Lady Meredith Stirg, who was pretty damn impressive in building up her scheme while looking like an unknowing accomplice to her husband. And her power, while grotesque, was rather cool.
Taisho SwordsmanAki Ikari from The Second Try.
Misato:Tomorrow, you will see all the good you did. - Toji:-Punches- And that is for destroying half my neighborhood. EV Abridged.
GlimmeronironI just wanted to say that this thread is great. Like the original poster said O Cs in fan fictions are often disliked before the potential reader even starts. It's nice to see there a good number of O Cs in fan fics that people like. Hayley ^_^
Thanks! Adding another character, Chaos from the Tamers Forever Series. From the very beginning I loved this guy, he's just so damn funny!!
God-Emperor PenguinBerry Stoo, from Latias' Journey. An obvious Parody Sue who at one point tries to BECOME SUPER-SAYAN to fight a giant robot (long story, don't ask), only to be stepped on by another giant robot (I SAID ITS A LONG STORY) before he actually did anything. Later he gets beaten by Ash mostly through trickery, but in the final fight Ash wins through completely honest means.

Lynn Cullen from some Daria fanfictions. Don't recall the title, but she worked beautifully in "The Evil Daria Vignettes" Technically every single character in the sort-of*-Evangalion fanfiction "Guest Performance" which i recommend to those with a sense of humor about fandoms.
CталкерI'd say Faust from Magia Revolution. Then again, the story is a Choose Your Own Adventure hosted in Image Boards. I like how the anons managed to turn her into a Chaotic Selfish lesbian Expy of Archer, yet the writer still manages to pull a very memorable ending.

Now then, good morning, Nightmare.
The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
