This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking For An Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

Since we agree on the Dilbert quote for Yandere, do I have to take it to the discussion where I can ask for edits to locked pages for it to be changed?
Probably the fastest way to get it resolved.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFartillery has two quotes. I think the first one is more demonstrative.
Also, I was reading The Canterbury Tales, and in The Miller's Tale, I found this bit:
This Nicholas just then let fly a fart
As loud as it had been a thunder-clap,
And well-nigh blinded Absalom, poor chap.
How does this suggestion sound? I think this can at least go to the Quotes page.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.First quote is indeed better. The other suggestion doesn't sound like the trope, though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanReverted the Hot-Blooded quote... I left in the walking faces pothole, but I think I'll just axe it. One pothole in the middle looks weird, and even without knowing what the "walking faces" are, the quote is perfectly clear in terms of the trope.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.A second quote was added to Obviously Evil, though The Nostalgia Critic one was already there. So, now, it has two quotes.
"My face is an index to my mind
"Full of venom, spleen, and gall"
Sir Ruthven Murgatroyd, Ruddigore
Obviously Evil: I prefer the new quote. The old one sounds like "spot the villain", not "this person is obviously evil".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's a little old-fashioned, but I'm always going to prefer actual quotes over critic quotes. Keep the new one.
Agree with keeping the new quote, but admittedly part of that is that I think TNCnote is completely overrated.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpLike the new one. Might want to add a % note referring people to the page to avoid more double quotes. I've seen those in some pages, or just ones saying one quote is enough and please put others on the quotes page. I approve.

Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettWhereas I have a bias toward Gilbert and Sullivan. :P
That aside, though, it's still a better quote.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableMalicious Slander has two quotes, first by Mark Twain can probably stay.
New theme music also a boxMalicious Slander: First quote is better, and being an example of Disorganized Outline Speech makes the second quote a bad quote.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDon LaFontaine's page has two quotes. Which one should stay? I'm leaning towards either moving the Platypus Comix excerpt to a Quotes subpage, or making the Phineas and Ferb quote a caption.

I'd say keep the P&F quote and move the Platypus to the quotes tab, for Don LaFontaine.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpGood Republic, Evil Empire has two quotes. I vote for the second, as I can't figure out how the first one is only an indirect example of the trope.
I don't really like either - the first is only tangentially related to the trope, as you say, but the second is a little too brief. It's just rephrasing the trope title.
A genius, a philosopher, an abstract thinkerYeah, I'd say that both could be cut with no real loss, the first one completely removed from the wiki and not just moved to Quotes.
The Echoes of Honor from said page, though, looks like it would be a good trope page quote.

...since it was deliberately implanted and completely unavoidable or erasable, does the Master's constant drumming even count? (From Doctor Who.)
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettRe: the Master's drumming, I'd say no, for two reasons. One, it was deliberately implanted and two, it's not a song, it's just four-beat rhythm.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Asian Babymama: Two quotes, one from Urban Dictionary and one from a Margaret Cho comment. The second one doesn't really strike me as all that great, but it's miles better than the first, which doesn't even touch the "Asian" part of the trope.
I wouldn't shed too many tears if both were torched, really, but I think the Cho quote is the better option if the choice is between the two.

I think the walking faces one could stand to stay, just for a wee bit of context. The point of there being no potholes is because there are no potholes in fiction... but there's also a bit more context, too. That said, even without the pothole it'd still be a good example.
Actually, the brashness in the face of such a weird foe might illustrate even better.
