This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking for an Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

It sounds like it's describing actual bad acting - or at least there's no context to suggest otherwise. It also sounds like it's describing overacting, whereas Bad "Bad Acting" is "Stilted, wooden, or monotone." I think an actual example (along the lines of "Oh no. The asteroid..." in the description) would be preferable to a reviewer quote in general, but when it's not even clear that it's discussing the trope, I think it definitely doesn't work.
Yeah, that quote doesn't work. This trope is supposed to be about deliberate bad acting (such as in a Show Within a Show), not actual bad acting, like what the trope is describing.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Yeah, the quote on Bad "Bad Acting" needs the Vaudeville Hook.
I agree that that's not a good quote.
Maybe the quote from Arrested Development: "Tobias: OH MY GOD WE'RE HAVING A FIRE (sale), women and children first! Amaaaaaaaazing graaaaace... aaaaaand end scene." - Tobias Funke, helpfully informing you that there is a fire sale.
Or does it not make sense without context? I know the show too well I can't be objective.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Removed the Bad "Bad Acting" quote.
I guess that could work, provided nobody suggests a better alternative. I give it a weak support vote.

This is from Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain:
I don't really think this is a good quote. I can't tell what's going on in the quote in terms of how it relates to the trope. I don't have a replacement quote though, and I haven't watched the show either so I don't know if there's a better way to elaborate upon the quote, possibly without the note.
♥ ♦ ♠ ♣Yeah, that's a bad quote. And I don't think there's a way to set the quote up better short of explaining the entire episode.
This Is Not a Drill currently has two quotes. I like the first one, but I want to know what everyone else thinks.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.I agree.
The first quote is definitely the better one.
My alignment is Chaotic Cute.First quote for TINAD.
The second quote is only somewhat relevant. I like the first one better.

Dig Dug has two quotes. Personally, I'd keep the first one. Any thoughts?
My alignment is Chaotic Cute. For Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain, maybe something from this clip? I like the last couple lines
Flash: Dude, as soon as you finish your drink, turn yourself in.
The Trickster: Got me again, Flash.

My alignment is Chaotic Cute.I have found two pages in need of a better page quote, by virtue of including pretty massive spoilers that can't be worked around gracefully.
The first is The Unreveal; the particular quote is a great demonstration of the trope, but it also spoils a very large part of the work in question, and editing it makes it nonsensical or makes it lose its punch. Maybe there's a quote that can be pulled from a work that is reasonably past its statute of spoiler limitations?
Secondly, the quote at Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a conversation from late in the game, and rather obviously has to do with an important part of the story. The name of the blanked-out other character can be reasonably guessed if you read the description. It's also more about the main character than about the actual game.
I wish I could help with either of these, but I am absolutely horrible at noticing when a line is quotable, since I have trouble dissociating a given quote from its context when I hear it.
This happened because Tim had made a mistake.Dig Dug: The first quote looks better.
The The Unreveal and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood need to be removed under the "no spoilers above the example line" rule.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDig Dug: Agree on the first quote.
Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain: Gonna have to say no on that one, as it doesn't get the "sympathetic" across very well. It could go on the quotes tab, though.
The Unreveal: Not familiar with the game, but would simply not listing the name of the character saying it be enough to remove the spoiler-iffic nature of it? It could possibly be attributed to "the game's villain" or "the game's Magnificent Bastard" or whatever instead.
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood: No comment beyond what Septimus said; I'm not familiar with the game.

No, because the last sentence makes it clear who is saying it. The quote itself might be harmless without the proper context, but it's part of a climactic encounter, and, if I recall correctly, is actually one of the major reveals with regards to the villain's motivations.
Well, as I said, I have a difficult time removing a quote from its proper context. If you think we could quote part of it, I won't argue. Finding a new quote will probably prove problematic as the trope tends to happen at important junctures.

This happened because Tim had made a mistake.I found a pretty bad page quote. Take a look at the quote for Cutting the Electronic Leash, and tell me if it has anything to do with the trope. Does anyone have an actual decent idea?
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Cut it...way too abstract.
Kill it.
Another spoilered quote that you need to read the spoiler to understand how it fits: Pro-Human Transhuman.
Agree with cutting both of them.
Pulled Cutting the Electronic Leash, and I support removing the Pro-Human Transhuman quote.

Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Hmm? That looks like bad acting.
