This thread is for general discussion of page quotes, whether to change, move or remove them.
Unused quotes should be put on a Quotes Wiki page (just replace the namespace in the URL of the wiki page you are making a quotes page for with Quotes/) or, if they don't have an article, on Quotes Looking For An Article.
Image captions are discussed elsewhere and have their own thread in the Image Pickin' forum.

It's flat out not an example. Just remove it.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Does it matter if the quoter wasn't aware of this fact?
Forgot I Couldn't Swim has two quotes. Can't decide.

His lack of awareness doesn't make it seem any more relevant, if that's what you mean to ask.
Expendable Alternate Universe and Up the Real Rabbit Hole both share the same quote.
I advocate for using the Rick and Morty quote instead for Expendable Alternate Universe.

Can anyone explain how the quote on What Measure Is a Mook? is an example of the trope? I'd rather pick something straight forward from the quote page.
Cruel to Be Kind has two quotes. The Chinese Proverb works for me.
...What in the world? That sounds more like For the Evulz than anything (apart from it being real life based), and I don't remember it being there before.
Edit: Looks like it's been there since at least May. Still doesn't have much to do with the trope, though.

VideoGame.Ni GHTS Into Dreams has two quotes, neither of which I feel say anything about the game.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? The quote in M. Night Shyamalan seems to be complaining about the guy. Remove?
^ Yepp, no Flame Bait, such can go under Fallen Creator.
The quote in All Germans Are Nazis doesn't talk about Germans being accused of being Nazis because of their nationality. It's just two guys discussing the differences between nihilism and nazism.
Removed.
The quote from King of the Hill from the Quotes tab seems to be an improvement

@nrjxll: It really seems out of place.
@eroock: I also prefer the Chinese proverb.
I personally prefer the Captain America one, what do you guys think?

^^^ No, Walter assumes that the Germans are Nazis, because of the castration threat as well as their nationality, but The Dude points out that he is mistaken: they are nihilists.
(The nationality part is key because, presumably, Walter would not assume that about people who made those threats in a French accent.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Scrappy Mechanic's is really bad. It relies on a pothole and knowledge of Mario Kart to work.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Maybe, but nothing in that quote suggests anything about the nationality of whoever these guys are talking about. I know it's my own fault for not having watched The Big Lebowski after all this time, but until you mentioned it I didn't take "They're nazis because they're germans" from that quote, but "They're nazis because they're violent".
Dreamgirls has one quote too many. Which one must go (no pun intended, if one exists)?

^ Who actually reads through all those line of lyrics? I'd go with the shorter quote.
I don't know anything about them but the shorter quote says that it's from their most well known song. If that's true, keep it.
Scrappy Mechanic still needs a new quote while NiGHTS into Dreams… still needs one quote axed.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Any further input on my post at #3600?
Also, would the quote on Overused Copycat Character work better on Rei Ayanami Expy?
EDIT: Escalating War doesn't discuss the trope. It's just a line that happens to be used when the trope is done.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The Great Comics Crash of 1996 has two quotes. This one is going to take a bit of work to fix since it's on an edit-locked page.
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSI say go with the first one. It's shorter and funnier.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Same as Karxrida.
Crown Description:
What should be the page quote for Monster.Fan Works?
Does the Cinema Sins quote on Logo Joke really seem that relevant? On one hand, it does refer to a movie with a logo joke, but the presence of two Disney logos at the beginning isn't the joke-just the standard for every movie in the Disney Animated Canon since 2007.
