Super Smashbros fic

I would like to write a story were the Third Party Fighters, with the possible addition, of Super Smash Bros save the Nintendo characters but I can't make up my mind for who is which member of the Five-Man Band. Perhaps Mario might lead the Third Party fighters

• The Hero - Sonic? Mario? Sora?
• The Lancer - Sonic? Snake?
• The Big Guy - Snake? Earth Worm Jim? Sora? Bomber Man?
• The Smart Guy - Mega Man
• The Chick - ?
• Team Pet - Blue Slime

Also, I've got most of the Bad guys but I can't make up my mind for The Brute. However, I don't want Wario or Dedede in that role.

I don't know the characters well enough to answer directly, but if you're having difficulty with the five man band, you might consider a different organization for your team. For example, see Power Trio, Command Roster, The Squad, etc. While it's common for the Five-Man Band to be paired against the Five Bad Band, it's not necessary.

Of course, if you want to write a massive crossover story about a Five-Man Band, there's nothing wrong with starting with the roles and treating the characters as applicants and yourself as the hiring manager, and just drop the character who best fits into the role you want.

It's not so much the band its who gets what Job.

Mario - The King of Nintendo humble everyman. But Using him might defeat the idea of the story. Using Sonic as the hero, he is a flashy showboater that dos good for the sake of goodness, as the lancer he would be a reluctant hero that gos with Mario becouse he seamed desperate. Snake as lancer Hes a stealthy Bad Ass to complement sonic being a Show off. As the Big Guy well Stuff Blowing Up however I like a Hammy Big guy. Sora being the Big guy, I want him in there and can work as Hammy unlike Snake. Earthworm Jim "Plan A senseless violence" . Slime hes cute and useless and he will annoy snake.

So it looks like you've got your "Plan A" team like so:

• The Hero - Sonic as The Cape
• The Lancer - Snake as the Anti-Hero
• The Big Guy - Sora as the Large Ham
• The Smart Guy - Mega Man
• Team Pet - Blue Slime

So you need to cast The Chick. You might decide first what subtype of the trope you want to consider first, and then decide. You could also go here to see some other five man band relations, or look at the listings in The Chick or its related tropes (The Heart, for example) to see who other people chose to fit (or shoehorn into) the trope.

I have Ideas for the Chick but don't know if there people would have in Super Smash Bros My main Picks are.

• Staff Chick - White Mage (I think thats were she is from} Heals people and using Light The Way
• Action Girl - Felicia from Darkstalkers Cute but deadly

I could use eather one eassly even if I don't play there games, besides them I guess I could use somone from the Soul Series or Lara Croft.

Try Peach or Zealda for the Chick.

Snake has Rocket Launchers and Grenades and junk. Just make it a Where Did They Get Lasers? type deal.

I vote Mario for hero. And Snake for the Lancer. He seems to fit that role better. Zelda for the Chick.

Umm ya Zelda is not an opichn. Incase you did not get the memo I'm doing thrid party.

White Mage might work she can heal people and shes got a hammer.
