You don't even know me.

Hook (real name Tyler Senerchia, born May 4, 1999) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling.

He is the son of Taz, and a former lacrosse player in high school and college. Training at both the Create-A-Pro and Nightmare Factory wrestling schools, he first appeared in AEW as a background extra, before being properly introduced as Team Taz's principal trainee, often being seen accompanying them to the ring and during promos. He finally made his debut on the December 8, 2021 episode of AEW Rampage, where he made short work of Fuego Del Sol and rapidly established himself as one of AEW's biggest young talents. As of August 2023, Hook is a two-time FTW Champion.

  • Badass Back: Always has his back to his opponent at the start of the match, both as a sign of confidence and disrespect towards his target.
  • Berserk Button: He treated Danhausen as an annoyance, but it wasn't until this "very nice, very evil" man started ripping up his potato chips that he decided that he's had enough.
  • Continuity Nod: His finisher being named "Redrum" is a reference to Taz being billed as hailing from "Redrum Inc." in ECW.
  • Cute Bruiser: At a glance he's an unassuming Pretty Boy, but in the ring he turns out to be arguably the most hard-hitting of AEW's young talents.
  • Determinator: When he faced off against Samoa Joe, Hook refused to stay down no matter how badly he was beaten, even when a medical examiner advised against it. Even after Joe finally defeats Hook by choking him out, when Hook comes back into consciousness, he immediately goads Joe into continuing the fight.
  • Early-Bird Cameo: MJF's gum guy has a very familiar fluffy hairstyle. Perhaps he's Hook's less cooler lost brother.
  • Establishing Character Moment: After over a year of largely staying in the background of Team Taz moments, his AEW debut saw him make quick work of Fuego Del Sol with a no-nonsense grappling and submission style that he clearly takes from his father.
  • Finishing Move: "Redrum" (a Kata Ha Jime, identical to his father's iconic Tazmission). As first demonstrated against Serpentico, he is also able to perform a standing variation of this move.
  • Hometown Nickname: "Hook" likely comes from his father's hometown of Red Hook, Brooklyn.
  • Like Father, Unlike Son: He looks nothing like his father, to the point where many viewers didn't realize he is legitimately Taz's biological son at first.
  • No-Nonsense Nemesis: Hook's entire M.O. is to get in, beat his opponent, and get out as efficiently as possible.
  • Odd Friendship: HOOKhausen, his pairing with Danhausen. Both are internet Ensemble Darkhorses, but aside from that they have virtually nothing in common.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Hook only saw Danhausen as an annoyance at best, until Danhausen decided to tear open a bag of potato chips in annoyance. Not only does Hook get irate at this action, but he finally speaks, showing that he is done with this nonsense.
  • Oral Fixation: Always seen chewing gum, which gives him an aloof demeanor.
  • Phrase Catcher: "Send Hook!"
  • The Quiet One: He isn't much of a talker or showboater. It takes Danhausen destroying his potato chips — in a bid to get Hook to fight him — before he starts talking.
  • Real Song Theme Tune: He comes out to "The Chairman's Intent" by Action Bronson.
  • Red Baron: "The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil"
  • The Stoic: In addition to being a man of few words, Hook barely emotes whether in the ring or behind the scenes.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: A bag of potato chips, which he is often seen eating in backstage scenes and on social media. Danhausen used this to his advantage, destroying a few bags to piss him off so that Hook fights him.
  • We Used to Be Friends: He got along very well with "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry until Forbidden Door 2023, where Perry took his frustrations over being unable to win a title belt out on Hook by knocking him out. This led Hook to repeatedly chase down and attack Perry afterwards.
  • Wrestling Family: As already stated, he's the son of Taz.
