Unfortunately for him, Gunther also doesn't hesitate to shoot when he's given the chance.
JustForFun.Disneys Anne Frank: Private Ludvig, when he realizes Sgt. Olga is using the souls of the Auschwitz prisoners to reanimate a zombie army (of which he is the prototype). And a literal one several scenes after Josef Mengele pulls a street dog's tail.
Characters.Beastars Back Alley Market: Killing your own mother would normally be something indefensible... but considering his mother sexually abused him as a child, her death was more than earned.
Film.The Cannonball Run: Charlie does this twice to Leo.First, after trying to embarrass him in front of Tiffany, Leo asks Charlie to park his car. So, he does...well above the speed limit. Fortunately for Leo, Charlie is such a Badass Driver that he returns the car to the entrance unscathed. Again at the end, Leo continues to bully Charlie and starts to include Tiffany in his harsh treatment as well. Finally having had enough, Charlie grabs Leo and punches him out. Charlie's not the only dog who bites back, though. Valentino is forced into the race by his brother Donato threatening something bad. (We don't hear what it is, though.) After the race is over, Valentino calls up Donato and really lays into him, telling him he gave the Lamborghini to Flash, that Donato's wife sleeps with all the mechanics, and that he's staying in America.
YMMV.The Choices That Make Us: One-Scene Wonder: Mr. Goyle is one of the most memorable parts of the one chapter he appears in due to the comedic yet slightly poignant scene where he complains about how the spell he cast to make his mansion look like a haunted graveyard was meant to ensure his privacy but ended up attracting paranormal enthusiasts and a parish council development project looking for uninhabited land to build over. Irma Prince only has a few scenes. Still, her The Dog Bites Back revenge against her abusive father and brother and her relationship with Severus, which is closer than it looks at first glance, make her a popular character.
Characters.Criminal Minds Unsubs Seasons Eleven To Fifteen: Twice against Lawrence. The kidnapped women who've been in the bunker for a longer time turn on him and knock him out when JJ and Reid convince them the outside world isn't gone as he suggested, and Irene gives the two the bunker's security code so they'll escape their trap and get everyone out safely after Lawrence openly left her to her luck.
YMMV.Sonic The Hedgehog 22022: Catharsis Factor: Rachel, who Took a Level in Kindness from the first film and Took a Level in Badass in this movie, gets even with Commander Walters by scaring him into surrendering by shooting a nearby cake with Tails' gun, which surprises even her with how destructive it is. Considering how her wedding was just a setup to capture Sonic, that scene is very satisfying and makes you cheer for Rachel. Rachel: Hell hath no fury like a bride scorned! Seeing Walters Bound and Gagged and forced to see that Tom and Maddie were ultimately right makes it very satisfying after witnessing his Smug Snake antics. Knuckles punching Robotnik in the groin, sending the Master Emerald flying out of him, is The Dog Bites Back at its most cathartic.

BreakTheCutie.Video Games: The Heirs of Fate DLC stages are pretty much built around this trope: Alternate versions of the Second Generation children have been forcibly torn away from their once-safe Deeprealms, and their parents (especially their dads) have all died or disappeared to save them plus the Deeprealms themselves AND their original worlds have been destroyed. Then the Big Bad pits groups of surviving children against each other, purely for his own amusement. The bulk of the story here is to have one of the eldest kids become the Big Good and reunite the others, to retaliate and find a way to fix this mess.
Series.Spartacus Blood And Sand: Illithyia in episode 13. She gets the last laugh on Lucretia by escaping the massacre at the ludus and having her soldiers seal the doors behind her.
Music.Si Iva Gunner: Double Subverted: Planet Robobot. He starts as The Dragon to The Voice, but eventually pulls a The Dog Bites Back and takes the SiIvaGunner channel for himself. Compared to The Voice, Haltmann's takeover is actually relatively beneficial for the channel, and he doesn't seem to do anything bad at first. But then, almost a year later it's revealed that he locked the Christmas Comeback Crisis in a sort of "Groundhog Day" Loop so he can profit from the channel indeinitely, which is a problem for anyone with a Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory such as Wood Man.
Characters.Batman Arkham Series The Joker: Are We There Yet?: Asks this in the prequel comic to the first game, while handcuffed in the Batmobile. Batman's response is simple but effective. Yet again in the prequel comic to the second game, as he's being transferred down the hallway while strapped in a wheelchair. The guard takes it in stride. Probably because he and the boys were planning to slice Joker up for all the guards he killed last time.
Funny.Secret Of Mana: Some enemy techs can be particularly dangerous and elicit some pretty sharp responses from the player. What do the random bat monsters do? Immobilize your characters by summoning a balloon onto them. It legitimately just freezes you in place for several seconds for no discernible reason besides maybe your character being enraptured (or held up) by a single large balloon. Though it gets a lot less funny if the bat or other enemies take advantage of this to pummel you. Primm later gains the ability to do the same to enemies.

Phyllis slinks away with the same timid expression she used to have while Angela lets off a small smile, thinking she's put her in her place. Then... But the triad turns out to be Not Quite Dead and absolutely pissed off at Sam’s double-cross, where he then responds by suddenly attacking Sam from the back seat, stabbing Sam multiple times before getting hold of a discarded pistol and shooting Sam In the Back causing the vehicle to crash, resulting in a successful Taking You with Me moment.
Characters.Dragon Fable The Rose: After finally being freed, she inflicts the same Fate Worse than Death on Warlic and Xan that they accidentally inflicted on her.
Podcast.Doomsayers: Fed up of Ebenezer's rudeness and self-centredness, Stör shoves him. Stör's much bigger and stronger than Ebenezer, so the shove causes him to fall over, breaking his ribs. Stör totally breaks down.
Characters.The Ranch 2016: After enduring several bitchy, passive-aggressive remarks from Abby over a season and a half, Heather decides she's had enough and gives Abby a well-deserved "The Reason You Suck" Speech after Abby implies that Heather intentionally got pregnant.
Characters.Zekkyou Gakkyuu: After being picked on and bullied by everyone, Madoka finally snaps and strikes the one person who torments her the most. She ends up killing her, but in self-defense.

Film.Demolition Man: Summon Bigger Fish: Cocteau releasing Phoenix with a subliminal suggestion to assassinate Edgar Friendly is his absurd attempt at pulling this trope (and he also shoved a whole lot of military-grade training in Phoenix's brain to make him even "bigger"). The "absurd" part is in how little forethought he had for his plan, which leads to a pretty bleakly comedic death at the hands of his attack dog's attack dogs. The San Angelenos view the release of John Spartan like this. To them he's just as much a criminal as Simon Phoenix and his worldview and behavior are just as alien. "Send a maniac to catch a maniac."
VillainousBreakdown.Web Animation: Nomad of Nowhere: The Undertaker goes through this, after the normally peaceful Nomad finally has enough of the Undertaker's abuse and animates the objects around his house to attack him, while The Undertaker can only crawl into a fetal position and scream that he doesn't want to die, before the Nomad manages to stop himself. When the Nomad leaves his house, after tying him up in the room with the formerly animated objects, he screams not to be left alone with them.
Characters.Im The Grim Reaper: After two seasons of dealing with Satan, Scarlet finally has enough after she reaps Liam and he doesn’t put him in the same circle as Ana. Satan putting her in a Pimped-Out Dress and taunting her even more is the final blow. It leads to her and her demon finally joining forces without it overpowering her and her landing a visible blow on Satan. Of course, he manages to trick her afterwards and gives her a Sadistic Choice. This happens again in episode 123 in regards to Judah. After he sets her childhood home on fire, Scarlet finally seemingly kills him by stabbing him repeatedly with scissors, ensuring she kills him as a human rather than a reaper.
Film.Mandalay: Tanya takes the iodine and poisons Tony with it while he's trying to strong-arm her into being a prostitute again.
Characters.MCU Citizens New York City: Too Dumb to Live: Using money he borrowed from an infamous mob boss to fund his political campaign was a lose-lose situation. If he had won, he would've been in Rigoletto's pocket for life, in addition to living with the possible scandal that could have arisen if Bill had been exposed. There was no guarantee he would win, especially given the community's opinion on him. Naturally he loses, and given what his wife said, Bill likely would have ended up dead even without his son's involvement.
Literature.Lets Get Lost: Eventually, after Isabel becomes defrosted by Smith, Dot seizes the chance to dethrone Isabel and become the new Alpha Bitch, calling Isabel out on how she always mocked and insulted her friends whenever they were interested in boys but turned into a pathetic, gushing idiot the second Smith entered the picture and that Isabel had always underestimated her.
Series.Roots 2016: A major point in the remake is that, as the producers stated, they didn't want to show Kunta and his family as just passively suffering through slavery, but that Kunta retained his pride and never gave up fighting back against his enslavers: the odds are against him and he cannot fight every white man in Virginia, but the remake makes it a point to show Kunta and other slaves managing to actually kill at least a few overseers - keeping people enslaved who don't want to be is a constant, dangerous business. Unlike in the original, Kunta later directly gets revenge on the brutal overseer who whipped his back to shreds: choking him with his own gun, leaning into his face and shouting "My name is Kunta Kinte!" while watching the life drain out of the overseer's eyes.
Film.Dirty Laundry: Quite literally. The gang leader is prevented from taking a clear shot at the main character at a crucial moment when the kid, whom he and his goons had previously been bullying and beating up, bites him in the leg. The person to actually light the gang leader on fire is the prostitute he had beaten and raped at the start of the film.
SanitySlippage.Live Action TV: Being horrifically abused, humiliated, and repeatedly raped by Schillinger results in Beecher getting addicted to drugs, which eventually results in him having a mental breakdown and assaulting Schillinger in front of the entire prison. He proceeds to spend the next season as a deranged, vengeful berserker feared by the other prisoners.
LetsPlay.Lord Minion 777: Though Wade is usually on the receiving end of the abuse during his collaborations, there are a few times when he gets one over on the guys. A prime example is when the Salty Boys play Stop It Slendernote A Garry's Mod game based on The Slender Man Mythos, since Gar and JP Scream Like Little Girls when they get Jump Scared.When Mark proves to be...less than adept at Farming Simulator, Wade gleefully tears into him over it.

Lecter cutting Krendler's head open and feeding off his brain after how much of a sexist and elitist jerk he was. Lecter cutting off his own hand to both escape and avoid hurting Starling since it's him making a pretty big sacrifice that while benefitting him also means he never once broke away from the insistence that he wouldn't harm her as well.

The scene then shifts to his blood reviving the Dark Dragon. Likewise, Haley says that, unlike Jake, she won't crack under the pressure of being the American Dragon. She ends up doing so by yelling at Lao Shi and Sun for how they've treated her big brother.
YMMV.Trace: "The Dangerous Turn": Inna Babayeva is a woman who plots the murder of her abusive, cheating Control Freak of a husband. She devises a Make It Look Like an Accident plan of sabotaging his airbag and then blinding him with a firework when his car is at a dangerous turn. To put the plan into motion, she hires their employee Fyodor, promising him half of her enormous inheritance and – in case he, against all odds, gets caught – the best lawyer available. She also tells Fyodor that, if he is found out, he should claim he did everything out of secret Courtly Love for her. Fyodor's involvement is indeed eventually discovered by the FES, he spins his romantic cover story and looks sympathetic, though he is still sent to prison to await trial. Babayeva, however, becomes free and wealthy overnight, and nobody has even an inkling of suspicion that she could be involved in the murder.
Characters.Why Im Afraid Of Bees: After Dirk, the Jerk Jock who has his body, refuses to give it back, Gary finally has enough and coerces his fellow bees into dive-bombing him.
TooDumbToLive.Live Action Films: Assassin's Creed (2016): Taking into account the fact that this story is canon to the video games, Abstergo comes across as this in the film. Despite the fact that someone utilized their Genetic Memory in the Bleeding Effect to kill a top agent and one of the members of their Inner Sanctum, they still try to put people back into the Animus who have definite Assassin lineages, not only for one person, but for an entire group, well aware that this could happen again. Furthermore, they keep an entire collection of Assassin armaments that are often centuries old for what could ostensibly be research purposes, despite the fact that with the aforementioned knowledge, they should already be concerned about those Assassins coming out to kill them with those very weapons. Predictably, this bites them in the ass big time.
ComicBook.Death Of The Family: When Clayface finds out that Poison Ivy was controlling him with a plant from the Amazon, he is... unhappy. So he goes to her and attacks her while her guard is down.
YMMV.The Angry Video Game Nerd: Moral Event Horizon: R.O.B. crossed it when he almost killed the Nerd in Episode #100. Bugs Bunny also crosses the line after, coming back in Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle, to return the No-Holds-Barred Beatdown and crapping on the face he suffered in his second-to-last appearance. A pretty reasonable desire at first. But instead of just returning the beating and leaving it at that, he decides to take things way too far and actually try to beat the Nerd to death, while yelling that he going to kill him with sadistic glee and laughing his head off. And then there's his replacement of the Nerd's role in the Mega Man Games video...

The second Ofglen/Lillie blowing up the upper echelon of Gilead's government in a suicide bombing. In the exact same manner they did to the former US government, no less. Emily stabbing Aunt Lydia in the back, shoving her over the railing, and kicking her the rest of the way down the stairs, after Lydia made a cruel remark. When Winslow tries to rape June at Jezebel's, she fights back, stabbing him repeatedly with his own pen before bashing his head in with a decorative statue. The Marthas dumping his body in the incinerator afterwards probably also counts.
Characters.Shigurui: After the samurai boy also named Gennosuke beat him and forced him to eat dung, young Fujiki killed him by smashing his head against a wall and took his scalp as a trophy.
Film.Tai Chi Master: The army turns its back on Tienbo when he tries to take over, slightly because his promotion wasn't exactly legal but mostly because they were sick of his treatment.Doubles as a case of realism in film as mistreating your soldiers only results in your soldiers betraying you.

To top it all off, he is now stuck with Mary-Lynn again, much to his dismay.
AbortedArc.Web Original: The Music Video Show had the host being friends with a Pinkie Pie plushie and a crush on a Fluttershy plushie. It is revealed that Fluttershy is imaginary while Pinkie Pie was taken by the Devil in the last two episodes. When season three came two years later, that plot thread didn't resurface and outside of a couple of references, it didn't seem it was going to be resolved. This trope was eventually subverted near the end of season four when the host of the second season came back with the MLP plushies after chewing out the host of the third season for knocking on his tenure of the season.
