When Barry the Brogrammer kidnaps his friend Yana, Ice Bear sets out for round two with his nemesis.
Tropes:
- Achilles' Heel: Barry's smartphone-powered robots are dangerous, but their heads are a glaring weak spot.
- Affectionate Parody: Like the episode before it, Icy Nights II is one to neo-noir thrillers. This time around taking cues from John Wick.
- Back-to-Back Badasses: Ice Bear and Yana fight back-to-back against Barry's mooks.
- Badass in Distress: Despite being capable of protecting herself, Yana ends up becoming this to Barry (though she later claims that she could've been able to save herself without help anyways).
- Chekhov's Gun: The small axe Ice Bear packed with him ends up helping the Roomba save Ice Bear and Yana from Barry's big robot.
- Connected All Along: Yana is revealed to be the long-lost daughter of Yuri from "Yuri and the Bear".
- Do Not Adjust Your Set: Barry communicates his message to Ice Bear through the bear's new TV. His brothers think it's an ad.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: The taser built into Ice Bear's Roomba gives Barry a nasty-looking burn scar on his face.
- I Have Your Wife: Barry sends Ice Bear a message that he's kidnapped Yana.
- Mecha-Mooks: Barry has an army of smartphone-powered robots at his beck and call, including a huge one with an Arm Cannon and a Chest Blaster.
- Noodle Incident: Ice Bear and Yana mentioned a number of previous locations where one of them saved the other, with debate over who saved who in Halifax.
- Sequel Episode: To Icy Nights.
- Surrounded by Idiots: Barry's Mecha-Mooks aren't too bright. Yana manages to trick one of them into going to "help" its boss, and proceeds to trip it and free herself.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: During the Lock-and-Load Montage for Ice Bear and his Roomba, the background music sounds an awful lot like Killing Strangers, which was used in John Wick.
- Tiny-Headed Behemoth: Barry's mooks are large robots with top-heavy figures... and smart phones for heads.
- TV Head Robot: Barry's robots are a variation; their heads are smart phones with emoji faces. The Elite Mook has Barry communicate through the phone, giving the effect of a Powered Armor.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: It turns out Barry's father is the head of the company, and Barry is desperate to impress him by stealing the tech used in Ice Bear's Roomba.
- Wham Shot: Ice Bear picks up Yana's dropped necklace and opens it, revealing a familiar family photo.Ice Bear: ...Yuri.
