Episode 0: The Lord of Elemental Part 1
Unknown to the humans of Earth, there lies another world beneath the surface of the planet: "La Gias" — a world that developed differently than the surface with the help of the Elemental Spirits guarding its surroundings, a place where magic and technology have been incorporated into one for all aspects of life. The story begins when Japanese teenager Masaki Andoh is mysteriously summoned to La Gias and ends up embroiled in La Gias politics, siding with the peaceful Kingdom of Langran, even showcasing his skills with piloting an "Elemental Machine". Without a way to return to the surface, Masaki accepts the offer to make La Gias his permanent home, adopted by "Sword Saint" Zeoroot zan Zenosakis. At the same time, he discovers he is not the only "surface dweller" to have made their way into La Gias: the Finnish Tytti Noorbuck, Chinese Hwang Yang Long and Brazilian Ricardo Silvera were also summoned like Masaki was. Despite being a new resident of Langran, he is quickly introduced to the royal family, such as Prince Feilord Grania Bilseia and his twin sisters Princess Xenia and Monica, including Elemental Machine designer, Wendy Rasm Iknart.

As Masaki spends more time in La Gias, he comes to learn of the trouble plaguing La Gias, from bands of brigands roaming the rural areas to rival neighboring kingdoms with ambitions to conquer La Gias. This comes to a head with the Cult of Volkruss, a society of supporters and worshippers of the dark god Shiva Volkruss, whose machinations and power threaten the entirety of this subterranean world. However, the Kingdom of Langran built a countermeasure to combat the Cult of Volkruss - the titular "Elemental Lords", four powerful machines blessed by the highest ranking Elemental Spirits of La Gias. It is this revelation the surface dwellers are told why they were summoned: the Elemental Lords choose their "heralds" who must originate from the surface, to wit Masaki, Tytti, Yang Long and Ricardo are selected to use the Elemental Lords Cybuster, Gaddeath, Granveil and Zamzeed, respectively.

Meanwhile, Masaki comes head-to-head with the enigmatic Shu Shirakawa, who not only has surface dweller and La Gias blood in his veins, but has ties to the Langran royal family. At first sight, Masaki sensed Shu had hidden intentions, and his hunch is later proven correct when Shu declares he is assisting the Cult of Volkruss to one day resurrect the dark god. With the mighty Granzon at his disposal, Shu makes work of Masaki easily, until Zeoroot takes his adoptive son's place, but is killed in battle. Confronting Shu a second time, and desperate to defeat the ma who killed his adoptive father, Masaki unknowingly unlocks "Full Possession", whereby the Elemental Spirit that blessed the Cybuster, Cyfis, takes the Elemental Lord's herald under its control. Although Shu is beaten back by the Cyfis-controlled Cybuster, Masaki is left in a state of near-death; a quick Prana injection by Wendy ensures he stays alive.

Unfortunately, Shu retreating does not ensure La Gias is safe. With the death of the Sword Saint, the Shutendonias Alliance, a neighboring kingdom of Langran, decides to seize the opportunity to take over the land and begins militarizing its forces. Among the Shutendonians is Lubikka Hakinnen, a noted terrorist from the surface responsible for the death of Tytti's family years ago, who was also summoned to La Gias to be the pilot of the Gaddeath until Tytti interfered and revealed his crimes on the surface against her. Langran authorities tried placing him under arrest, but Lubikka escapes and flees to Shutendonias to be a mercenary-for-hire. Tytti's encounter with the madman lasts several occasions until she recklessly succumbs to Lubikka's hypnosis. Ricardo attempts to save Tytti and successfully breaks her out of her induced state, but Lubikka gets the last laugh as he mortally wounds Ricardo as he dies protecting Tytti, fleeing back to Shutendonias.

At the same time that Ricardo is dying, Masaki is sent to the Langran capital, only for him to witness the city under bombardment. Reaching the ruins of the capital, Masaki sees Shu there with the Granzon, accusing him for the atrocities committed. Shu denies his involvement, and knowing he no longer has any business in La Gias, heads to the surface world to "assist an old friend". With the Langran king dead and the city thrown into chaos, the Shutendonias Alliance declares war on the crippled Kingdom of Langran. While Tytti, Yang Long and many other brave Langran soldiers prepare to defend their nation's borders, Masaki, still suspicious of Shu's intentions, decides to follow his Arch-Nemesis with the Cybuster back to the Earth's surface...

    Episode 1: Divine Wars
It's been two hundred years since the beginning of the "Space Era", a time period when human civilization on Earth began expanding into the stars. However, by the start of the 21st century, two meteors struck and destroyed much of the planet, sending humanity into chaos. By year 179 of the Space Era, secret technology dubbed "Extra-Over Technology" (EOT) was excavated by the "Earth Federation Government" within a third meteor code-named "Meteor-3" that had hit Earth at the Marquesas Islands in the South Pacific. Around this time, extraterrestrials are spotted within Earth space; although a small armada, it is stopped by an esteemed member of the elite "Aggressors", Major Elzam von Branstein, who bring parts of the destroyed drones from the advancing vanguard to the eyes of the "Extra-Over Technological Institute" (EOTI).

Meanwhile, avid video gamer and Mecha Otaku Ryusei Date gets into the tournament finals of the video game "Burning PT", only to witness an alien attack and discover that Burning PT is but a front to search for Psychodriver pilot candidates. He is drafted by Major Ingram Prisken to participate in his experimental "SRX Team" alongside Raidiese F. Branstein and Aya Kobayashi, stationing aboard the battleship Hagane. Accompanying him are Major Kai Kitamura, a former member of the Aggressors, and Latooni Subbota, a young survivor of a brutal, now-defunct Federation funded military training program called "The School". Meanwhile, pilot cadet Kyosuke Nanbu is transferred to the North American Langley Base following an accidental piloting test with the Wildraubtier. Drafted into the "ATX Team" under the command of ex-Aggressors member Major Sanger Zonvolt, Kyosuke is partnered with Excellen Browning and Brooklyn "Bullet" Luckfield, stationed with the Hiryu Custom battleship.

During a ceremony unveiling the new Shirogane battleship in the Antarctic, the government begins a plot to secretly surrender to the extraterrestrials, but their meeting is interrupted by Shu, having reached the surface from La Gias some time earlier, and uses the Granzon to decimate Federation forces. Shu only retreats when Masaki arrives at the location, chasing after his rival for the destruction he caused in the Kingdom of Langran. Shortly after, Bian Zoldark, head of the EOTI, reveals the deception of the Earth Federation Government and declares war. Announcing the formation of the "Divine Crusaders" (DC), Bian urges any to stand alongside him and his faction to fight the corruption that has crippled the government. The Hagane and Hiryu Custom are deployed simultaneously to quell the rebellious DC in the "Divine Crusaders War" (DC War). The Hiryu fights in space against the United Colony Corps, the independent armed forces of the space colonies who have align with the DC, while the Hagane travels to the DC headquarters at Aidoneus Island to cut off the head of the rebellion. Sanger even defects to the DC to assist his old friend Elzam; as a result, the "Earth Federation Army" (EFA) promotes Kyosuke to ATX Team leader.

The EFA's campaign against the DC comes to a head at their headquarters on Aidoneus Island. As the Hiryu Custom fights off a drop operation lead by Maier von Branstein, Bian faces the combined forces of the Hagane with the Valsion. Though defeated, Bian reveals his true intentions: his rebellion was kick-started as a means to unite the world, so it will be strong enough to face an impending alien invasion, rather than select the option of surrender. Even with Bian dead, DC remnants continue to harass the government, unaware of their leader's actual motivations. Bian's daughter Lune Zoldark, a former member of the DC, turns against the remnants and join the Hagane and Hiryu Custom to follow what she believes are her father's last wishes. Just as the Earth Federation Army mops up remaining DC insurgents in a failed preemptive strike at Federation headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, Bian's forewarning of the invaders comes true - the extraterrestrials, calling themselves the "Aerogaters" of the Ze Balmary Empire, arrive with the intent of conquering humanity.

Ingram declares the time has come to initiate the SRX Team's goal of forming the "Super Robot Type-X" (SRX), a combat-ready machine built specifically to fight against the invaders. Unfortunately, at the Battle of Beijing, Ingram sabotages the transformation sequence of the SRX. Revealing himself as The Mole of the Aerogaters, Ingram retreats with his Aerogater masters and prepares for the final battle with the Earth Federation Army in their massive space station, code-named the "White Star". Having been in hiding following Bian's death, Sanger and Elzam come out from the shadows to lend their strength to the Hagane and Hiryu Custom with the Kurogane battleship. Despite Ingram's betrayal, the SRX Team succeeds in forming the SRX and at the "L5 Campaign" of pushing the Aerogaters away from Earth space, defeats their former commanding officer. However, even with Ingram's defeat, the army must contend with Levi Tolar, leader of the Aerogaters, who takes to the frontlines with the towering Judecca.

Although Levi proves formidable, the Earth Federation Army disables the Judecca, but the Aerogater leader's defeat triggers a fail-safe: Meteor-3 arises from Aidoneus Island and initiates its self-defense mechanism. Calling itself "Seputagint", the sentient meteor prepares its "final judgment" of exterminating all life on the planet deemed a potential danger to Balmar. It takes everything the Earth Federation Army has to destroy Septuagint and end the L5 Campaign. Though the threat to humanity is gone, DC remnants continue to seek a chance to overthrow the government, while the newly reformed Earth Federation Government must contend with the reality they must be prepared for future incursions with any other extraterrestrials.

At the very least, this whole campaign served as a wake-up call for the gaming pro Ryusei for the most part, war was not at all like the video games and had to be taken with dead seriousness, full with surprises and even betrayals with almost no clear distinction between good and evil (as initiated by Ingram) and people will die without any chances of continues. His game rival, Tenzan Nakajima, might be more skilled, but as he was drafted to the Divine Crusaders and eventually brainwashed by the Aerogaters, he never did learn the same lessons and died in delusions. All of these served as the crux of Ryusei's growing maturity, and he would become a dedicated soldier that protects the Earth sphere without forgetting his gamer origins for the many many wars threatening this world.

    Episode 2: The Inspector

In Another World.

In an Alternate Universe where the Terra Federation has become so corrupt, the only power capable enough of opposing them is an organization who follows the philosophy of evolution through eternal conflict. Calling themselves the "Shadow-Mirror", they seek to spread the seeds of war through the multiple universes through an inter-dimensional traveling device called "System XN". However strong their forces were, they were still rather outnumbered and decimated by the special forces of the Terra Federation, led by an Alternate Universe version of Kyosuke Nanbu, who, unknown to them, have been possessed by the Einst and calls himself 'Beowulf'.

On advice from Shadow-Mirror researcher Lemon Browning, ex-Terra Federation Army soldier and Ace Pilot Axel Almer is sent to steal the "Time Flow Engine" from the Excellence machines of the Gureden siblings Raul and Fiona, believing they would be an asset to the organization. While the Guredens managed to stave off the Shadow Mirror members, Axel easily overwhelmed them and his attack wounded Fiona. This battle would be interrupted by a being calling itself Duminuss, attacking all of them further and this caused a wormhole to open and sucking both Excellences into another dimension. The last thing Raul remembered was Fiona wounded and seemingly resigning to her death.

Luckily, Axel managed to avoid being sucked in and had to consider the mission a failure. He rendezvoused with the remaining Shadow-Mirror at the Tesla Leicht Institute as they prepare for their inter-dimensional jump with one of two System XN devices away from their world into the next. However, Beowulf and his Beowulves squadron eventually caught up to them. Axel stays behind with the Soulgain to buy time for his allies and stall the advance. Despite nearly losing his life, Axel barely makes the jump across dimensions, detonating System XN to prevent anyone from their world in pursuing them.

Back to present

6 months after the end of the L5 Campaign, Earth President Brian Midcrid announces the "Aegis Plan", the intent to better rearming the Earth's military to combat future alien threats. In the meantime, the Earth Federation Army continues to mop up DC remnants, who mostly are in disagreement with Brian's more passive plans.

One of these former DC members, led by Lorenzo di Montegnacco, managed to take over the Isurugi Industries and held many personnels hostage. To save the hostages, the ATX Team is sent to rescue them, and for this occasion, Kyosuke painted his Alt Eisen blue, ironically mirroring his Alternate Universe self's blue Alt Eisen. Bullet, driven to rescue his crush Kusuha Mizuha who was amongst the hostages, also participated, but along the way he encountered another student of the Jigen-Ryuu swordsmanship style, Murata. However, Lorenzo's goal was still realized, he managed to get what he aimed for, a Valsion Custom-CF.

While the hostages were safe, after this, the ATX Team was relocated to newly repaired Shirogane, and unfortunately is put under the rather unbearably smug Captain Lee Linjun. Just shortly afterwards, they received a sighting of a rather huge angelic robot defending itself from DC remnants. The ATX Team gave pursuit and backup, and the angelic robot's pilot reveal herself as 'Lamia Loveless'. She seemed to have been registered into the Terra Federation, somehow. The ATX welcomed her warmly, even if she apparently has a rather quirky grammar pattern.

Boosted Children

The Terra Federation unveiled one of their new projects based on the performance of Excellen's Weiss Ritter, the Wild Falken, which uses a similar Oxtongue rifle only made by normal bullets instead of beams. As the Aggressors, Kai and the newly drafted Latooni are tasked to test its capabilities. However, around this time, the DC remnants launched two attacks, the first is directed at the Tesla Leicht Institute, where several members of the Project TD led by Filio Presty; including his protege Ibis Douglas, his sister Sleigh Presty and his fiancee Tsugumi Takakura. The ATX Team, including Lamia, now drafted into the team, were sent to defend them, though this marks the first sightings of the rivalry between the perfectionist Sleigh, and the clumsy-yet-full of potential Ibis. In addition, the ATX Team also spotted several machines that shouldn't have been approved, such as the R-Schneide.

The second attack was directed to the testing site of Wild Falken, and this one was successful; mainly due to the initiators of the attack was in fact Boosted Children similar to Latooni, causing strife within her and the one who took the Falken, Seolla Schweitzer. The SRX team, now under the leadership of Viletta Vadim, is also attacked, prompting them to take action too.

Tailing behind Seolla is her partner/boyfriend Arado Balanga. During another separate attack, Arado has consistently shown his protectiveness for Seolla by taking bullets meant for her. But the last one proved to be fatal, Arado's mecha suffered heavy damage and he ended up considered KIA, throwing Seolla into disarray and The School under Agilla Setme responded by reconditioning her with heavy mind wipe to stabilize her performance. Unknown to everyone else, however, Arado was secured by the Terra Federation Force, and while technically a prisoner of war, he was treated nicely to the point of believing that he has been fighting for the wrong side all along.

Formation of Neo DC

Throughout a series of battle, it became apparent that the DC remnants have been rather unsavory. For instance, a certain Archibald Grims attacked an excavation site out of blue purely because he just likes needless bloodshed from the innocents. Several officers such as Yuuki Jaggar and Ricarla Borgnine has shown distaste towards this man that was assigned as their superior, but they had to hold on as they believed someone else amongst their leader.

Meanwhile, while both Kyosuke and Excellen split up to scout the Earth and Space respectively, they encountered a weird little girl who looked similar to Excellen, but only as a petite little girl. With her appearance, voices came out from their heads, but they couldn't figure out what it was for the moment.

At the moment, Arado was sent to the Moon Cradle, but there, he witnessed several new extraterrestrial led by a dinosaur-like mecha, attacking it. He managed to protect it, somehow, with the help of the other personnels.

The Terra Federation Forces would receive several shocking revelations eventually. First, the eldest of the Boosted Children, Ouka Nagisa, has made an appearance, instilling further fear to Latooni. In addition, there was a shocking entrance of a masked man who rode a mutated Grungust calling himself Wodan Ymir, the Sword of Magus. His mannerism and voice draws parallel with Sanger Zonvolt, instilling fear to the whole federation with possibilities of Sanger going rogue.

All of this culminated with the declaration by the leader of these remnants, Colonel Van Vat Tran, declaring the birth of Neo DC.

Riksent Under Chaos: Enemy of the Bransteins

The first region that was attacked by the Neo DC was in fact Riksent, where Princess Shine Hausen resided. The Hagane-Shirogane-Hiryu team were sent there, but Lee ignited an argument with Tetsuya Onodera about their philosophies, showing once again the strife between them as well as lowering most of the crews' opinions on Lee (he had a lot of blunders beforehand).

Raidiese F. Branstein spearheaded the rescue mission for Shine. But when he saw that Archibald was amongst the attackers, he flew into a blind rage and recklessly attacked Archibald, only to be severely injured as a result. Rai hinted that Archibald is pretty much the Arch-Enemy of all Branstein family.

Attack of the Inspectors

The Moon Cradle ends up once again under attack of the new extraterrestrial forces, revealed to be "The Inspectors". Part of the interplanetary "Zuvorg Alliance", the Inspectors deem humanity a potential threat to the galaxy, and seek to quell that threat by seizing control of Earth's military and technology. In addition of the Moon Cradle, they also occupied the White Star. Thankfully, with the efforts of Ryoto Hikawa, Rio Mei Long and Arado, most of the personnels managed to escape.

The Inspectors set their sights to the Tesla Leicht Institute, successfully taking over. However, the appearance of a mysterious man with goggles named 'Ratsel Feinschmeker', who was thought to be Elzam von Branstein (but he kept denying), allowed the staying Kusuha, along with Ibis, Sleigh and Tsugumi to escape. However, at this point, Sleigh's irritation with Ibis reached a melting pot when she learned that Ibis was the designated pilot for the prototype unit of the project's final product, Astellion. Overwhelmed with her jealousy at Ibis and Ratsel's admonishing, Sleigh ran off, eventually defecting to Neo DC. One of the Inspectors, Aguija, caught up to them as a result of this quarrel, and they only managed to escape because Masaki Andoh came across them by accident.

Encroaching Shadows

After the survivors of Project TD and Moon Cradle reunite with the Hagane-Hiryu-Shirogane crews, they await any further attacks from the Neo DC. It was also around this time that Axel arrived from his jump, but since the Soulgain became damaged after the jump, he had to put it on repairs. When the Neo DC attacked again, as the team observed, more unseen mechs were seen, and while it was rather easy to miss, Lamia seemed like she was acting suspiciously on the enemy. Arado, on the other hand, was shocked to see Seolla return with the Wildfalken and instead act like she didn't know that Arado was still alive, believing the Terra Federation to have killed him.

The group then splits, with the Hagane and Shirogane heading to Avianno, the Hiryu Custom heading to Edo.

In Avianno, Latooni and Shine unlocked the twin units Fairlions. Ibis encountered Sleigh again, and in spite of having the Astellion, she still fell from Sleigh's tremendous skill. But as much as Sleigh despised Ibis, she still couldn't bring herself to kill Ibis, causing her to somehow fall from grace amongst the Neo DC. And in the same time, Lee blundered once more, causing the Shirogane to fall to the enemy's hand and Lee's irritation and unpleasant attitude makes it easier for the mysterious enemies to convince him to turn coat.

In the meantime, the brother unit of the stolen Wildfalken, Wildwuerger, is completed and delivered to Arado. But on the other hand, he witnessed not only Ouka now having her own menacing mecha, Rapiecage, there was one nasty child who claimed to have been cloned by him, one of the Machinery Children, Thurisuz Egret. On the bright side, though, Arado noted one thing that could be his key to saving and protecting Seolla: Somehow despite her insistence that they have never met, she kept getting mad whenever he made a Boob-Based Gag on her expense, hinting that their memories weren't completely wiped out, it was still buried deep within her.

In Edo, Wodan Ymir confronted the heroes once more and nearly crippled Kyosuke, if not for the timely intervention with the real Sanger Zonvolt, clearing his name. When passing the excavation site once again, the voices that haunted Kyosuke and Excellen eventually materialized themselves as the Einsts, and the little girl introduced herself as Einst Alfimi, cloned from Excellen's DNA. However, the arrival of the Einst awakened the guardians of the land, the "Choukijin", declaring them their opposition. They chose both Bullet and Kusuha as their new masters, and lent their aid by absorbing their Grungust units into the dragon/tiger machine RyuKoOh/KoRyuOh. Axel eventually arrived with his repaired Soulgain to confront Kyosuke, who has no idea on why he has such animosity on them.

Afterwards, the group reunite.

The Coup and the Reveal

The reunion was shortly cut from joyous information exchange into a dread when Excellen wandered off aimlessly and heeding the calls from Einst. Several quick pilots, including Kyosuke, gave chase, but this was a diversion: The Einst launched a massive attack with a mighty Einst Regisseur, which overwhelms even the SRX. As a last resort, Professor Kenzo Kobayashi, Aya's father, deployed his secret weapon: Sending in the resurrected Mai Kobayashi, formerly Levi Tolar, into the R-GUN Powered and use her tremendous Psychodriver power to have SRX fire a buster shot so powerful it drove away the Einst forces. While everyone was safe, others were still highly suspicious at Mai's return. But for her sake, they decided to keep her past as Levi Tolar a secret.

Meanwhile, from the political side, as the Terra Federation did not seem to make good progress against the Inspectors, Graien Grusman ended up launching a successful coup against President Midcrid. Replacing the "Aegis Shield" plan, he proposed the "Scythe of Harpe", which took on a more offensive approach, and one of the plans were to instead align themselves with the Neo DC after hearing that the Shadow Mirror somehow splintered from them and with more charismatic leader like Van, the group seemed more approachable, since Van did take Bian's legacy at heart.

The plan, however, required many of the Reasonable Authority Figure to be arrested. The Hagane and Hiryuu Custom caught on quick and was about to investigate when the Shirogane returned, until Lee suddenly declared his defection towards the Shadow Mirror. The Federation forces were about to retaliate until suddenly Lamia threatened to destroy the Hagane and Hiryu Custom if they do not surrender and join the Shadow-Mirror, who have already arrived from their inter-dimensional jump from their world into this one, moonlighting as an additional battalion of the Neo DC. Vindel Mauser, leader of the Shadow-Mirror, explains their organization's goals for continuous improvement for humanity through war. When rebuked by Hagane Captain Daitetsu Minase, Lamia, having blended with the crews long enough, chooses to sacrifice herself by detonating the Angelg to destroy Vindel and the Shadow-Mirror. Once the battle was cleared, however, they learned what really happened to the higher ups, but since at least they are aiming for the same goal of defending Earth, Daitetsu suggested that the team follow orders for now instead of creating a ruckus.

The betrayal and sacrifice of Lamia stunned the Terra Federation forces, and in the wake of this, they accidentally spilled the bits about Mai's nature as Levi Tolar, and worse, she overheard it. Distraught, Mai left the group and secluded herself alone, until the Neo DC attacked her. Amongst them was Agilla Setme, who revealed her sociopathic nature, the Boosted Children weren't the only guinea pigs she used, but also Mai. This sends her into a complete distraught, until Aya managed to somehow calm her down, but Agilla then revealed that Aya was also a guinea pig of both her and Aya's own father Kenzo. This also sends Aya into distress, but eventually Ryusei saves the day by telling the sisters that he and the team doesn't really give a crap about their status, they're friends, and that's all, while also condemning Agilla's inhuman attitude. Quickly recovering with Ryusei's encouragement, Aya and Mai managed to repel the attackers, amongst them was Seolla. And somehow, Arado managed to slowly piece her memories together, bringing confusion to Seolla and also proving it right that her memories were still buried because she still reacted badly towards boob jokes. As they return, Kenzo apologized to both sisters, stating that regardless of using them inhumanly, he still considered them the closest he got for his daughters.

Though her attempt is unsuccessful, Lamia survives and is rescued and resuscitated by Lemon, who allows her to escape custody. Incidentally, the crew of the Kurogane headed by Ratsel, Sanger and intelligence officer Major Gilliam Yeager, tails the Shadow-Mirror and extracts Lamia back to the Hagane and Hiryu Custom crews. Revealing her nature as an Artificial Human of her creator Lemon's "W-Numbers" series, and as of her designation, W-17, Lamia earnestly defects from the Shadow-Mirror and told the chief differences between her universe and the current one, chiefly about Kyosuke and Beowulf. In the same time, after witnessing this, Axel, who was at first disgusted at artificial humans in general, started to have second thoughts about them, impressed with Lamia's independence, but he chose to keep quiet about it. At the same time, Gilliam, who has remained quiet, reveals it was he who created System XN allowing the Shadow-Mirror to jump dimensions, and urges his allies to prevent them from achieving their goals, as they require Gilliam to effectively use the second System XN device in Vindel's hands.

Operation Plantagenet: Tragedy

At the very least, the coup by Graien managed to ease up the Neo DC, as Graien's plan is to embrace the help of the Neo DC instead of opposing them and successfully negotiated a deal that they will strike at the Inspectors first, and together they planned the Operation Plantagenet, to take back Langley Base. However, Sanger and Ratsel proposed that they stop by to liberate the Tesla Leicht Institute, to recover two of Bian's legacy, the 'Dynamic General Guardian' units. However, the Inspectors under Vigagi were still guarding the place and made it difficult for Sanger to retrieve the item. Surprisingly, Wodan made an appearance and helped Sanger unlock the unit meant for him, the Dygenguard. Ratsel also helped rescue the prisoners at the institute and armed himself with the other unit, Aussenseiter. With that, they are ready to execute the operation.

While the Neo DC managed to hold off, the operation mostly ends in failure due to outside interferences. First, Archibald betrayed the Neo DC, seeing them no longer able to satiate his lust for carnage. This betrayal eventually costed Van's life, who entrusted his good will to Yuuki and Carla as they join the Hagane and Kurogane crews. Archibald sold his allies to the Shadow Mirror, who has also aligned with the Inspectors to fight the Terra Federation Forces. An attack from Lee managed to cripple Daitetsu, while Axel delivered a furious attack to Kyosuke, also crippling him, while trying to confirm whether he was the same Beowulf he fought or not, which came to his surprise that as he tore Alt Eisen, the machine did not regenerate. Following this, the Einst arrived with Alfimi. On this overwhelming odds, Daitetsu used the last ounces of his strength to issue a full retreat to both ships, succumbing to his wounds as a result.

Everyone mourned for Daitetsu's passing, with Tetsuya succeeding him and vowing to live up to his legacy. But in the worst time of mourning, Excellen was telepathically called by the Einst and this time, she was successfully taken away. And to make matters worse, Seolla once again arrived to antagonize the group... or rather, tagging along with the Machinery Children, Ansuz and Thurisuz Egret as they antagonize the group, but especially Arado, mocking his lack of intelligence and overall strings of failures.

This is where things started to turn ahead for the heroes. Arado being bullied became the impetus for Seolla to eventually break away her brainwashing and unlocked the Twin Bird Strike attack for them. With the arrival of not only the Hiryu Custom, but also the surprise appearance of Shu Shirakawa, the Machinery Children are forced to retreat. Around this time, Raul and his Excellence crew members appear in this universe, but Fiona is nowhere in sight. Believing his sister has perished from their encounter with Duminuss (along with her seemingly final words), Raul and his friends relegates staying in this dimension and align with the Terra Federation Forces.

Steps of Liberation

With this, the heroes started to make good progress. They first started by splitting their forces to Earth and Moon, their missions, saving the respective cradles. At Earth, before they depart, Ratsel told Rai and Leona about the extent of damage that Archibald caused for the family, finally enabling Rai to stop his animosity towards his brother. Kyosuke also had his Alt Eisen upgraded into Alt Eisen Riese and he's ready for combat again.

The Earth Cradle is guarded by Wodan Ymir where the super computer Magus resided, containing the Machine Cells. Sanger had one final massive duel against Wodan as the others descend into Earth Cradle, where Ouka, severely brainwashed and infused with Machine Cells, attacked the team along with Ansuz and Thurisuz. In the meantime, the Branstein family (Rai, Ratsel and Leona) finally took their vengeance against Archibald and killed him for his transgressions. Thanks to the convincing of Arado, Seolla and Latooni, as well as a change of heart of their caretaker Cuervo Cero, Ouka managed to break away from her brainwashing and turned against Agilla. In order to stop Agilla for good, Ouka activated a self detonation system within Rapiecage, much to the grief and tears of her three siblings, but it was a necessary move. Rapiecage's destruction damaged the Machine Cells greatly, but even that wasn't enough to wipe out the mass-produced Bergelmirs, machines used by the Machine Children, as they eventually emerge. At this time, Sanger and Wodan's duel took them to the depth of the Cradle. Admitting defeat and considering Sanger worthy of guarding the one whom he swore to protect, Wodan sacrificed himself by wiping out the whole Bergelmirs as Sanger broke away Magus, releasing Dr. Sophia Nate, the one who was grafted into the core of Magus.

As the Hiryu traversed to space, they encountered a brainwashed Excellen and the Weiss Ritter mutated, but there was nothing they could do about her at the same time. The assault of Moon Cradle went well, and due to the daring action of both Ring and her boyfriend Irmgard Kazahara, the battle was a success, Inspector Vigagi fell in battle and this left a mark of impression on one of the Inspectors, Mekibos.

Assault on White Star - Final Battle

With both cradles secured, and the Einst started swarming the Earth, the Inspectors and Shadow Mirror retreat to White Star, where the Terra Federation Force gave pursuit. Excellen reappeared once more, but this time, Kyosuke managed to get through her. Apparently because her abductors now deem her "incomplete". However, her Weiss Ritter stayed mutated, now re-christened 'Rein Weiss Ritter'. Afterwards, they had another run-in with Mekibos, where Irm managed to convince Mekibos to reconsider his opinion on the Earthlings. He gave it some thoghts, positively.

As the Terra Federation Forces closed in to the White Star, the Inspector-Shadow Mirror forces initiate their last stand. While the Inspectors managed to retreat further, the Shadow Mirror stayed behind. Kyosuke showed Axel the power of the Alt Eisen Riese, but before he could deal with the final blow, one of the W-Numbers like Lamia, Echidna Iisaki AKA W-16, who has at first acted like an emotionless robot, suddenly took the fatal blow for Axel, surprising him and noted that she shouldn't have done that, it would demoralize the Shadow Mirror forces. Regardless, he honored Echidna's sacrifice and retreated to the inner section of the White Star. And meanwhile, Tetsuya finally confronted Lee once again and Lee, still arrogant at his 'sense of superiority', proceeded to attempt to ram towards the Kurogane, only for him to realize too late that the Kurogane has a drill on its deck, which Tetsuya activated to destroy the Shirogane. However, unknown to Tetsuya, Lee somehow survived... But he's really unable to participate further in battle.

And within the inner section, Axel and the rest of the Inspectors, Aguija and Sikalog, made their true last stand and perishing as a result. It was here that the Terra Federation forces encountered the Inspector Leader Wendolo, who still condemns the Earthlings for their war tendencies. Mekibos returns to the White Star to confront Inspector leader Wendolo, urging him to reconsider on their "evaluation" of humanity. Unfortunately, Wendolo remains adamant in their objectives and kills Mekibos for being lenient with the Earthlings. The Kurogane and Hiryu Custom crews soundly defeat Wendolo, but their celebration is short-lived as the White Star begins merging with the Einsts' dimension, covering the internal network of the space station.

As Alfimi and the Einst do battle with the Terra Federation Forces, Vindel and his surviving Shadow-Mirror operatives make haste to capture Gilliam for System XN. Participating in the battle was also Lemon Browning, who on her defeat, reveals that she was actually the Shadow Mirror's version of Excellen, who was killed in the shuttle crash in the past and rebuilt as a cyborg. Gilliam and Lamia work to disable Vindel's Zweizergain and send him to a dimension where he may never return, but in the process, trigger a dimensional rift, leading them into the Einsts' dimension. Faced with the Stern Regisseur, the leader of the Einst declares its intent to wipe out humanity and restart the cycle of life and death on Earth, merging with the White Star to oppose humanity. Alfimi, having been subjected with the compassion of Kyosuke, Excellen and their allies, assists them in destroying the Stern Regisseur. With the help of the recovered System XN, Gilliam warps him and his allies out from the collapsing dimension. Although they manage to return home, Alfimi, who is bound to the Einst, is unable to physically remain and is destroyed with them.

With the Inspectors routed and the Einst and Shadow-Mirror destroyed, life returns to normal for the Earth. Gilliam and Lamia take the remaining System XN device and destroy it, preventing any further abuse from it by anyone. Lamia insists on annihilating the last Shadow-Mirror prescence in this dimension: herself, and heads off alone into space, but is convinced by her comrades to continue living, preserving her existence as Lemon's greatest masterpiece. When Lamia still doubted it at first, fearful that she would lose herself one day, Kyosuke assured her that should that come to pass, he'll deliver a Mercy Kill for her. Convinced, Lamia finally accepted to keep on living.

In the aftermath, while Graien and his men were more militaristic and strict (and some of them actually just concerned for self glory), they promised that they'll still do their best to help in Earth's defense. Both ATX and SRX Team were reassigned to other places. Rai, formerly a member of the Aggressors after the Divine Wars, were sent back to the SRX Team, while Kai drafts Lamia, Arado and Seolla in his place.

    Episode 2.1: Endless Frontier
During Lemon Browning's evacuation of the W Series, she designated a different place to transport the W-Numbers from 00 to 10 than the ones she, Axel and the rest of the W Numbers used to escape with Vindel. This is a personal operation she dubbed 'Operation Endless Frontier', in attempt to find a new world 'so close yet so far away'. The ship she used is dubbed 'Mai Tierra'.

Mai Tierra indeed crashed into a new world connected with Cross Gates. W07, Aschen Broedel, Lamia's direct predecessor, awakened and found all of her fellow Numbers missing, but she found W00, Haken Browning, as an infant, still intact. Carrying him out, she met up with bounty hunter John Moses and he agreed to raise Haken as his own son, and accepts Aschen into his own home. However, it seemed that Haken lacked the memory of his origins.

When Haken came to age, he decided to investigate Mai Tierra to find out about his true identity. What he found was instead the buxom and innocent princess of Kagura Amahara, Kaguya Nanbu, on a pilgrimage. Haken decided to take the job of escorting her on her pilgrimage. This job led him to find out about the crisis of mysterious crystals infesting the worlds, wandering war machines with familiar shapes, and the Einst. After meeting up and joining up with Oni princess Suzuka, two dimension-travelling cops Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu, as well as a mysterious robot called KOS-MOS, Haken started cleaning up the world from Einst, also eventually finding out his identity as W00, although he's pretty nonchalant when he found out.

With the defeat of the remnants of Stern Regisseur, the worlds ended up being merged at the end of Haken's quest, but he decided that since the world still exists, that just means that new adventures await. Kaguya also has formed quite an attraction to Haken and the two ends up quite intimate (albeit they eventually separated).

These events will continue in Endless Frontier EXCEED.

    Episode 2.2: Unified Wisdom

Behind the scenes.

Following the assault on the Earth Cradle by Earth Federation forces against the Neo DC, a group of mercenaries called the "Cry Wolves" are hired by General Mitall Zapad to scavenge the facility. Cry Wolves leader Albero Est, his son Foglia Est and Hugo Medio are forced to fight the Einst as they appear and surround the Earth Cradle. Using special munitions provided by Mitall, the Cry Wolves successfully capture an Einst Regisseur and take it back to the General.

The mercenaries are next tasked by Professor Eric Wong to head to the White Star and steal the second System XN from Vindel. Although the Cry Wolves do not find the device or Vindel, they uncover the wreckage of the Soulgain, with its cockpit still intact and its pilot heavily wounded. As the space station is slowly absorbed into the Einst's dimension, the Cry Wolves narrowly escape, only to drop the Soulgain's remains as they flee the White Star. Axel muses to himself how close he is to death, but his prescence attracts the lingering essence of Alfimi, similarly clinging to life. In a last ditch effort before she vanishes, Alfimi merges herself with Axel, rendering him unconscious, but alive, and recovered by the Cry Wolves.

Present Day - A premonition

After narrowly escaping a plot by a certain Mad Scientist and her experimental beast the Wendigo (and showing the extent of his skills at piloting Gespenst), Kai rendezvoused with not just Lamia, but also Albero's squad, granting them the new Gespenst models. However, around this time, Albero seemed to look like favoring Hugo for his accomplishments, instilling a little bit of jealousy on Foglia.

Meanwhile, the Aggressors stopped by at Asakusa city, where Arado, Seolla and Latooni became acquaintated with a certain school boy named Kouta Azuma and his sister Shouko. Thanks to finding a certain amulet, Kouta made contact with Warrior Roar, which allowed him to defend Asakusa City as he transformed into Fighter Roar. Furthermore, his grandfather Kisaburo also let him use a hidden mecha that belonged to Roar, something similar to the Dynamic General Guardian, the Compatible Kaiser. With that, he took on the battlefield against remaining Inspector units, but a two mysterious robots capable of performing martial arts moves wiped out the rest. This was just a prelude of a certain battle to come, as these two declared themselves 'Shura' and a rebellion is incoming.

ODE Incident - Beginning

After the Inspector War, there are still some Neo DC remnants that still did not get Bian's final message and still terrorized the federation. To combat this along with possible extraterrestrials like the Inspectors or the Aerogaters and also improving their technology on their mass produced units, the government has been sponsoring a new system called 'ODE', proposed by Professor Wilhelm von Juergen, an ex-DC member that was rather mistreated by the darker parts of the DC during the DC War. The first unit is the Mironga unit. However, upon testing by the Aggressors, it was deemed rather flawed and required an upgrade. However, Lamia received message that someone might be watching over her and planning something nasty on her. She kept that in mind.

To respond to that statement, Juergen unveiled the successor of Mironga while slowly phasing it out, the Bartoll, and asked that it would be unveiled in the public via an event. The event was attended by Kusuha as a representative of the ATX Team, along with Lamia, Arado, Seolla and Latooni as a representative of the Aggressors (Kai was out for a small business). Not only that, the Azuma siblings also attended. Unfortunately, the Bartolls suddenly went berserk and executed a mass-kidnapping on the whole audience, with Lamia and the others also captured. Fortunately for Kouta he managed to escape, but in the middle of the chaos of kidnapping, the previous Shura warrior, the red-headed one, swept in and captured Shouko; with Kai, Kyosuke and Excellen coming too late to prevent all those.

In addition of this, the SRX Team witnessed just how heavily flawed the ODE System is, it's not just in need of upgrade, it's endangering its pilot, as the last Mironga pilot, Kyle Bean, suddenly went berserk and then had to be killed. In the meantime, Lorenzo di Montegnacco received a call to meet Juergen in a certain 'Hellgate Facility'. But after discussing things, suddenly Juergen shot him and mortally wounded him, only managing to escape because Sleigh Presty was with him, but afterwards his fate became unknown.

Shouko, in her captivity, however, ended up bonding with that Shura warrior, who introduced himself as Folka Albark. He ended up spending a majority of his time listening to stories from Shouko about this new world, where he ended up starting to question about his previous way of life, carnage, was actually right or not...

ODE Incident - Tragedy

Taken to the Hellgate Facility by the Bartolls, Kusuha, Arado, Seolla and Latooni were strapped to pods where they would become the core of the Bartolls. However, Lamia received the worst treatment as her skills were recognized as the best. Stripped naked and horrifically grafted to the ODE core, her pleas of the others to run became futile as they're all transported to Bartoll units.

Gathering the crews of Kurogane, Hagane and Hiryu Custom, as well as Masaki Andoh and Ryune Zoldark, as well as Kouta himself, these crews headed to Hellgate Facility itself, where the Bartolls surround them, and they realized that they were able to copy the piloting skills of those grafted to their cores (the non-piloting civilians were instead used as fuels), but for the most part, they identify the skill to be mostly Lamia's, considered as the most skilled. The Bartolls containing Kusuha, Arado, Seolla and Latooni also resurfaced, but thankfully, everyone managed to bring them back to their senses. And bringing them onboard and hoping to stop the whole Bartolls. However, they had to hurry, the Terra Federation Forces declared that the Facility was deemed too dangerous and had to be destroyed with a nuke.

As they arrived to the inside and reaching to the core and even more Bartolls, a Bartoll containing Lamia was deployed where she was united with the ODE core, carrying the will of Juergen to unite everyone in order to prevent tragedies that he suffered, chiefly how he lost his family against the Aerogaters. Regardless of that, Kyosuke still resolved to fulfill his promise in the back, as Lamia's personality was being devoured, he has to deliver the killing blow. However, Lamia still managed to resist the brainwashing, giving Kyosuke an opening to pull her out of the cockpit with Alt Eisen Riese's Revolving Stake. Still, even if the rescue was kind of successful, Kyosuke commented that at this point, Lamia might have to resign to a state of beyond repair despite being alive, since the damage caused by the ODE System was big enough and the Terra Federation currently lacked the resources for a complete repair.

At that point, Kyosuke let his guard down. A blast was shot on his hand that held Lamia, dropping her into space. In a complete shock, Kyosuke fell into grief as he thought he let Lamia die, as Juergen emerged with the Valsion Custom CF he stole from Lorenzo... Or rather, it was only the ODE main computer using Juergen's face; even before the Incident started altogether, he was actually the first victim assimilated into ODE, the system only used his face as the 'main face'. At this point, the Terra Federation Force was still mourning at Lamia's demise and ended up brushing off the ODE System's reasoning, projecting Juergen onto it and claim that it's just 'running away from his pain', they demand vengeance on their fallen friend. With tears in most of their faces, they struck at the living core. But at its final states, someone stated that the system has fulfilled his role and it was eliminated by that someone. That someone was familiar to Raul Gureden, Duminuss. After eliminating the Juergen-faced ODE and introducing its three Homunculus, Tiz, Despinis and Laliar, the Terra Federation Forces were forced to retreat as the promised nuke was approaching fast. They had no time to scavenge the facility for Lamia's remains, they had to escape.

But just as they escaped, another threat immediately loomed itself: The Swordian Fortress, where the Shura race led by King Alkaid Naash proposed to strike at Earth to fulfill their warrior culture. The fortress also comes with impenetrable barrier and so there's no other choice but to retreat to Earth and plan ahead from there. However, the Terra Federation Force's spirit were drained afterwards, the death of their friend Lamia was a big blow to them, but they had to move on, only listing her as 'KIA'.

Behind the scenes, Alkaid has already struck a deal with Duminuss, hence why he had Folka capture Shouko as Duminuss required her. His chosen liaison/advisor for this was Mizal Touval, who actually was planning something more self-serving, but as long as it doesn't interfere with his plans for the 'Shura Rebellion', Alkaid never minded. His task was seemingly simple: Uncover the secrets within the Swordian Fortress' main chamber which was unknown to even the Shura. But the message inside was rather hard to decipher for even the Shura advisor Mizal, which was where Duminuss came in, in exchange of Shouko, she would give hints and advices about the Fortress.

Additionally, the nuclear strike proved futile as with quick succession, Duminuss restored the Hellgate Facility and turned it into her home base of operation in this dimension.

Revival of the Shadow

It has been six months after the excavation of the White Star by the Cry Wolves. And at this point, they were also guarding both Mitarl and Professor Eric Wong in their experiments about some captured Einst, to be evolved to the next stage: Jetzt. At this time, Axel awakened from his sleep and surprised at his survival. On hearing that the world even without Shadow Mirror was thrown into chaos, he becomes interested to see it in the first place. But around this time, the Jetzt and the also-contained Wendigo went berserk and even the Cry Wolves had trouble in keeping it down, and making matters worse, Tiz also dropped by to observe on the Jetzt.

It was at this time Axel returned to the battlefield with the repaired Soulgain, to repay his debt of bringing back to health, he defended the facility. And suddenly, Alfimi reappeared, stating that it was their merging that kept them bound in the world. Shu Shirakawa also mysteriously dropped by on the Cry Wolves' side, forcing Tiz to retreat, but the Jetzt managed to slip by (and in the meantime, Tiz managed to steal data about the Wendigo). Alfimi then asked Axel to help her hunt down the Jetzt, as well as refreshing his past exploits and memories about the Inspector Wars. Axel tagged along anyway, feeling more interested in seeing just what the 'world thrown to chaos' is like.

Shura Rebellion

The Shura continued to ravage the Earth, with their teleportation devices supported by the Swordian Daggers, they can teleport anywhere on Earth with little to no warning, leaving Earth wide open and the Terra Federation Forces having to split up without time to rest. At one point, one of the generals, Magnaz Ald, has taken over Hakodate city and started a reign of terror, threatening to publicly execute Touma Kanou, a young boy attempting to protect a harrassed woman. Thankfully for Touma, Kouta has been traveling undercover and the execution plan was the last straw to reveal himself. He bought enough time for Kurogane to show up and also temporarily brought along Arado, Seolla and Latooni, to eventually save the day.

Folka entered the battlefield afterwards, but much like the Terra Federation Forces being drained of spirit due to the passing of Lamia, Folka himself has been dispirited after discussing with his brother Altis about what he learned from Shouko, whether the Shura's path of carnage is actually healthy or not, or will it bring ruin to their race again after 2000 years or not. The dispirited clash ended in a stalemate, and Folka retreated, with Magnaz swearing revenge on the disruption of his reign of terror... especially on Sanger.

Per Mizal's deal with Duminuss, Folka is then assigned to transfer Shouko into Duminuss' custody. At this point, Shouko's words finally went through Folka and he turned against his Shura brethren, fighting against his brother Fernando Alduk, and fellow warrior Alion Lucada and dedicating his fight for her. The Kurogane arrived and accepted Folka's defection, but before he could even bring Shouko in, another Shura warrior, master doppelganger Arco Katworl, swept in and re-kidnapped Shouko. While Kouta was understandably angered that Folka kidnapped Shouko in the first place and failed to rescue her even after defection, he let that slide at the moment and agreed to work together. In the same time, Fernando became frustrated at his inability to defeat Folka in addition of a past humiliation where Folka actually spared him in a trial combat for the worthiness of being a Shura general. After discussing with their brother Altis, an idea came to his mind: Apotheosization.

Shortly afterwards, the Kurogane headed to Asakusa in order to perform maintenance on Compatible Kaiser, and at the advice of Prof. Kisaburou, Folka resolved to atone for kidnapping Shouko by assisting them. Meanwhile, Tiz and Despinis posed as seemingly lost girls in order to bait Raul and obtain his Time Flow Engine, with Despinis purposely bumping into Raul and asking for help (and in the meantime, Despinis also learns about some new terms like the relations between 'creator' and 'mother'). It worked almost perfectly because Raul was too compassionate for his own good, but they still failed to get the Time Flow Engine because Kouta interrupted. And following a battle which was joined by Folka, the Hagane passed by and helped clean up Asakusa. But then, a black jet plane was seen under Duminuss' control, brought by Laliar and on contact, Roar just suddenly stopped speaking with Kouta anymore. All that was known was that the armor seems to be referred as 'Emi Armor' and it has some sort of grudge against Roar, and contact with each other might create a reaction, which the Homunculus suspected that it's what Duminuss sought.

Resurrected Tragedy

Meanwhile, the SRX Team is planning to devise a combination attack for both R-1 and the newly constructed ART-1, with its chosen pilots Ryusei and Mai. They asked Latooni for help, but Latooni was doubtful because she saw this as her on the losing part of the Love Triangle between her, Ryusei and Mai.

Ryusei and Mai decided to test the maneuver themselves, but before they could do it, they were ambushed by remnants of the Neo DC under Murata. Ryusei attempted to break the ambush by executing the maneuver, but they did not react in time, enabling Murata to repel them with ease. However, Latooni, with help and encouragement from Carla, Ryoto and Seolla, was able to put aside her feelings and gave the necessary data to Ryusei and Mai, enabling them to execute the new attack. Murata wasn't down yet, but reinforcements from Hiryu Custom arrive, giving more chance to Ryusei, Mai and Latooni. On the other hand, the situation was much more tense with Kyosuke seemingly putting more emphasis on being more careful since he was the one who felt the most guilty about Lamia's demise.

And made worse when suddenly Bartolls arrive from the sky while they're still minding the remaining Neo DC soldiers. The sight of Bartolls kept becoming a reminder of their failure that costed their friend's life, continuously increasing the tension, and the arriving Kurogane and Hagane also shared the high tension. Even in this tension, Murata continued to slice through his way, though he's driven out with the presence of Sanger.

Even more Bartolls came from the sky, and another reminder of their failure arrive: A Valsion Custom CF. While the Terra Federation Forces started to wonder just who was the next unfortunate victim being grafted there, they still plowed through the army of ODE-controlled Bartolls. But then, Kyosuke received a transmission... Turns out Lamia was still alive, and yet she was not acting like herself, referring herself as W17, a disposable puppet of Duminuss... her new master aside, it was clearly against the development she received during the Inspector Wars and moments before she was shot down. Regardless, she retreated and yet the goal was accomplished: The Terra Federation Forces had their morale drained, and left wondering if they should kill or save Lamia, while even saving runs the risk of her suddenly blowing herself up inside the ship and no one would be safe. At least, that would be what the most logical thing to do if Duminuss really wanted the Terra Federation Forces out of her way.

As it turned out, however, Duminuss wasn't intending to do so, she only reprogrammed Lamia to just stall them with morale-based combat so she had more leisure in investigating the connection between G Thunder Gate and Compatible Kaiser, that's why she didn't wipe out some of Lamia's memories so they can be used against them. However, Despinis, just done from her pondering about the relations between the word 'creator' and 'mother', spilled those words in front of Lamia and it booted up a last-minute recovery program from her side, as it would recall the memories of her creator/mother Lemon Browning, vaguely.

The Mysterious Attacker

Meanwhile, a set of mysterious creature attacked the Tesla Leicht Institute and possessed some of its crews but thankfully repelled by Kusuha and Bullet, along with the visiting Princess Shine and Guilliam. They have no idea what that creature was, but the RyuKoOh imply that they belong to a certain 'Youkijin'.

With everyone gathered, Guilliam finally devised a plan to infiltrate the Swordian Fortress, the key lies in securing the Swordian Daggers and at least there's three that they needed, and Shura Generals usually have them as a mean for teleportation.

The Shura staged an attack again, with Magnaz, eager to repay the Kurogane, especially Sanger, for interrupting his reign of terror at Hakodate, nearly overwhelming Sanger by knocking away his Colossal Blade, but Sanger still stood his defenses and managed to get through it with Dygenguard's default weapons. On the other hand, Fernando confronted Folka again, attempting to initiate Apotheosization but somehow failed and was defeated as well, further giving him frustration. However, Mizal instructed Magnaz to bring Fernando to him instead of returning him to Altis, for he has a plan on that vengeful brother of Folka... But with Fernando and Magnaz defeated, at least the Terra Federation Forces recovered two daggers...

End of Tragedy

During the aforementioned battle, Kouta, Raul and Ryune were isolated and attacked by Bartolls and the G-Thunder Gate while being watched by Duminuss' Homunculus. After watching all the battle ensue, Despinis spilled the beans on the identity of the G Thunder Gate's pilot and whoever is wearing that Emi Armor: It's actually a Brainwashed and Crazy Shouko. Tiz just played along with this, since as she expected, Kouta lowered his guard, unable to risk killing his sister by accident, and Roar woke up just in time to confirm.

Regardless, the clash between Compatible Kaiser and G-Thunder Gate, however, surprisingly opened another wormhole, and much to Raul's surprise and relief, another Excellence came out from there. Fiona Gureden was barely clinging to life but still savable, since this was exactly the spot where Raul made the first jump, though for her, it was just seconds after the incident instead of Raul and the rest spending months in the dimension in between. And just around this time, Axel and Alfimi arrived, and for some reason they decided to help out the three heroes when Tiz unleashed her stolen items from Tsentr project including the Wendigo because for some reason, the G Thunder Gate decided to retreat.

This bought enough time for the Hiryuu Custom and Hagane to arrive at the field and Raul hurried to them to give Fiona a chance to recover. While the Terra Federation Forces were skeptical at Axel's assistance at first, Kyosuke instead chose to trust his gut feeling and think he's not planning something bad.

In the same time, on learning that G-Thunder Gate did not return to home as planned, the Homunculus retreated, and in their place, the Bartolls and Lamia arrive, and at the moment, Lamia's personality became more defined, but was an amalgamation between her old self and reprogrammed self. At this point, Axel realized that Kyosuke being plunged into despair with this would escalate into a big disaster and he would become another world-ravaging monster like Beowulf. Because of this, Axel fought for the Terra Federation Forces on realizing that he basically just switched places with Lamia in war.

The climax was reached when at her own will as a 'disposable puppet with no home', Lamia threatened to execute Code: ATA, and if Kyosuke and Excellen would try to save her, they're going to die together. Axel, however, reacted first and instead moving in for the kill rather than risking Code: ATA blowing everyone up. He expresses disappointment that Lemon's masterpiece creation didn't turn out as she expected, resigning herself into the life of a disposable puppet after managing to impress him, of all people, with her newfound humanity during the Inspector Wars. However, hearing a similar word caused the recovery program to boot up yet again and this time, Lamia also weakly expressed that she wanted to live more than just being a W-Number. On noticing this small sliver of hope, Axel decided to test her with a sink-and-swim method: He will activate Code: DTD, a re-boot program installed only to her and her predecessor W07 (Aschen Broedel) with higher priority than ATA, and this would purify her from Duminuss' reprogramming, but moments before she boot back, she has to be plugged out and the rest depends on her own human will to live if she still want to preserve her memories. Axel would do the job personally, after all, he still valued Lemon's treasures and wanted to preserve the respect he developed on Lamia. With one strike from Soulgain, he did the job, destroying the Valsion Custom CF and plugging her out.

And his own bet paid off, Lamia was restored, but still heavily wounded. After reminding her to keep her identity as best she could, Axel handed her down to Kyosuke for recovery, he still had the Jetzt to deal with per his agreement with Alfimi. Relieved, Kyosuke promised to repay this debt one day.

The Tesla Leicht Institute successfully repaired Lamia physically and this lifted a huge burden for the Terra Federation Forces, their tension in desiring vengeance has been considerably lowered to the point of non-existence that they could treat Duminuss as a more 'normal' enemy, aside of Raul, and fight more efficiently. And even so, Fiona also made a quick recovery much to his own relief. But then, they noticed that somehow, his assistants Raji Montoya and Mizuho Saiki weren't present for this joyous news...

As it turned out, during the whole chaos by the Youkijin, the Shura has sent Arco to sneak and capture both Raji and Mizuho while posing as one of the Tesla Leicht Institute. The awakened Roar decided to come clean and explain about his origins, the Great Battle against his nemesis that costed the life of his sister Emi, and further confirming that within the Emi Armor, his sister wasn't there, but it was completely just the brainwashed Shouko. And lastly, he mentioned his nemesis' name: "Dark Brain."

Fall of the Cry Wolves

Lamia returned to her duty, much to everyone's relief, as if nothing happened to her, the reboot was a success and she still remembered the team, thanking them for protecting the new place she called home as opposed to what Duminuss made her think. Additionally, Fiona caught on the latest frame for the Excellence made by Raji and Mizuho during the whole war; the Excellence Eternal and Lightning. She chose to pilot the former with Raul going for the latter. Despite all the good news, Kouta was still worried if she could still save Shouko. Aya thankfully gave him a pep talk based on her own experience with Mai being Levi Tolar.

And it was at that time that the Shura arrived with the last Dagger to pick up. And leading the charge this time was Folka's older brother and the second strongest Shura General, Altis Tarl of the Flash. He mounted a great defense when the Terra Federation Forces trying to snatch the Daggers, while also questioning Folka's own willpower to walk this so-called new path of Shura. The G Thunder Gate made an appearance along with Tiz and Despinis who tried to threaten that they had Raji and Mizuho hostage, but Fiona instead bluffed them with daring them to kill the two, and if they do, she would absolutely show no mercy. Based on his encouragement from Aya, Kouta pulled all the stops to convince Shouko and break her from brainwashing, after a few mentions of some keywords about her past, they succeeded and Roar used the chance to combine both the recovered G Thunder Gate and Compatible Kaiser, forming up the G Compatible Kaiser. Tiz and Despinis were forced to retreat, while Altis did the same, but warned Folka that he'll be waiting in the Swordian Fortress for their final showdown to see whose vision of Shura would prevail. And just like the rest, Shouko resolved to help the Terra Federation Forces, fighting bad guys along the way.

Meanwhile, Duminuss threatened Raji and Mizuho's lives unless they make a new Time Flow Engine, and Raji showed a colder side of his personality, preferring to build a new Time Flow Engine to save his own hide, shocking Mizuho. Despinis was ordered to observe them, but she ended up learning more about purpose of living in case her creator died from both Raji and Mizuho's similar pasts and losses of their parental figures.

Eventually, the Terra Federation Forces received a distress call from someone familiar. As it turned out, the Cry Wolves were on a losing battle against the Jetzt and Albero failed to kill the Jetzt Regisseur despite the instructions and new specialized bullet Mitarl Zapad gave him, and as a result, Foglia died taking an attack meant for Albero and Hugo was fatally wounded in a separate attack. It was only at the sudden appearance of both Axel and Alfimi that Albero managed to escape with Hugo. The Terra Federation Force arrived and also witnessed the same Youkijin appearing. Regardless, the team was glad to see Axel again and Lamia was able to thank Axel for saving him, but he just left. Again.

With no other obstacles in their faces, the crews could finally use the Swordian Daggers to enter the Swordian Fortress. And for this operation, Guilliam gave it the name 'Operation Overgate'.

In the meantime, Mizal managed to decipher the meaning behind the inner sanctum of the Swordian Fortress and discussed it with Duminuss. He mentioned about 'Wisdom of Darkness' but then got startled as Duminuss started blabbering madly at herself, and entering a very narrow line of sight in trying to make haste for the Swordian Fortress to finally meet her creator and learn her purpose of existence, abandoning Hellgate Facility as a result.

Operation Overgate - Assault on the Swordian

The Terra Federation Forces were greeted by a berserked Fernando, who let himself brainwashed by Mizal in a bid of more power to activate Apotheosization, which stemmed from his inner jealousy and anger against Folka. With more power, he once again attempted Apotheosization, but ended up still not being able to kill Folka, only bringing him to critical condition. However, this gave Folka a better idea, based on his whole experience with the Kurogane, Hagane and Hiryu Custom: He thought of rejecting the path of power, but afterwards, he decided that he will still take the path of power but without having it consume him. This resolve triggered the Apotheosization of his Shura God, Ialdabaoth, and he once again defeated Fernando, sparing him afterwards. Magnaz, however, wasn't spared due to his insistence to antagonize the team and being loyal to Mizal, in spite of Mizal not even giving a hand in time of need. Altis stood in defense of the Swordian next and was impressed with Folka's resolve. However, all of the sudden, Tiz made a sneak attack and Altis died protecting Folka from it.

Altis' death spurred his lover Maysis Mark to make a stand, not recognizing Altis' blessing towards Folka. She came prepared to even die if it was for the sake of Altis. And all of the sudden, Tiz reappeared to strike the finishing blow on Maysis, which she came prepared to die for, but Alion drove her away, revealing that it was actually Arco in disguise and everything, including Altis' death, was planned by Mizal. Enraged with this, Maysis attempted to confront Mizal, but she was too tired. In the same time, because of this revelation, Fernando shoved off his brainwashing and sets his sights towards Mizal as well, allying with the Terra Federation Forces for sharing the same target, while the Shura King Alkaid made his appearance, and challenges Folka to see whose life philosophy is more right for the Shura's sake. After a hard battle, Folka prevailed and Alkaid named him his successor.

However, Mizal still refused to bow to Folka, and even brought in a squad of Bartolls from Duminuss. And even they fell to the might of the Terra Federation Forces. Tiz and Laliar also made a stand, but then Duminuss arrived with her sanity already slipping and forced them to merge with it in order to attack the Terra Federation Forces, which ended up with failure as they were reinforced by not just Axel and Alfimi, but also Shu Shirakawa.

Ragnarok - Final battle and Epilogue

Retreating to the deepest chambers, Duminuss ignored Despinis' plea to just fall back and called forth its master, made worse on her case with the fact that the Time Flow Engine Raji completed before was defective and blew up on her, damaging her. To Roar's worst fears, the master was his Arch-Enemy, Dark Brain. Dark Brain proceeded to say that Duminuss failed to retrieve any of the 'Twelve Keys' and for that, he killed it. He then immediately set his sights to Despinis, now nothing but a terrified little girl who just saw her creator destroyed like that, and losing her will to live. Before the final blow could be dealt, Raul and Kouta suddenly moved for her defense, stating that they were just saving Raji and Mizuho. The latter two, however, invited Despinis to come with them despite the horrible things she did on the team, in conjunction with their sharing of what one would do if their creator perished, and Kouta also admitted that if it wasn't for Despinis' warning, he might have ended up killing Shouko by accident. Helped with Despinis, the Terra Federation Forces had a very long and harsh battle to drive away Dark Brain. As Long as There Is Evil, he can always come back...

However, on exiting the Swordian fortress, they were taken in another dimension where Shu suddenly revealed that the team has grown strong enough that he could execute another part of his plan. Tapping on the power of Shiva Volkruss, Shu evolved his Granzon into Neo Granzon and attacked the team. He was defeated and just like Ingram, Shu thanked the team for defeating him and claims that his time merely has come, dying. Masaki shed tears for his fallen rival.

On returning to their dimension, Folka decided to leave and wander through the dimensions to find another new world and implement the new non-violent way of Shura that he discovered. Maysis has recovered and finally recognized Folka as a true successor to Altis' will. And while Fernando wouldn't admit it, he's on better terms with Folka, swearing to train hard to one day surpass Folka. Folka bid farewell to the Terra Federation Forces, and especially Kouta and Shouko, and the Swordian Fortress teleported out... which was a good thing, because the government has made plans to convert it to use for them, which would attract trouble for the Shura. However, Hellgate Facility was still open for grabs since it was abandoned by Duminuss, which prompted Mitsuko Isurugi to capitalize on it, though not by using the ODE System, but using the facility to house her own line of mecha.

In the same time, Axel made mention about the squads that preceded them during the jump from the Shadow Mirror verse, and in curiosity on where they might end up, he decided to wander the world and see if they found their own place they called home, just like Lamia. He promised to give her an answer just in case he found one. With their public appearance no longer needed, Ratsel led the Kurogane to once again sink into the shadows. With Shuu dead, Masaki decided that it was time for him to return to La Gias. Raul and Fiona decided to destroy the Time Flow Engine and their current Excellence units as they realized that it was a dangerous engine that attracted something like Dark Brain who wanted to use it for his own ends. They opened a rescue service company called 'L&E Corporation' as well as adopting Despinis into their family.

On the other hand, Albero attempted to track Mitarl Zapad, the one whom he held responsible for the low quality of the custom Gespenst that caused the death of his son, but didn't find anything. Dejected, he left Hugo in Eric Wong's care, where he would end up undergoing cyborgification to save his life, while Albero stated that he would 'take responsibility'. For the Hiryu Custom and the Hagane, they still have to sweep up any remaining Neo DC remnants stirring up chaos as proven with the encounter with Murata before. But before that, they decided to take a day off in Asakusa, while welcoming the birth of twin babies of their ex-allies Giado and Garnet.

Even so, life would turn out normal for the heroes as of now... until the next time their strengths are needed... Which would be prudent, as President Graien was convinced to take an even more militaristic stance to better protect Earth, creating 'a great sword to defend the Earth'...

    Episode 2.3: Endless Frontier EXCEED

Even after his defeat, unknown to the Terra Federation Forces, Dark Brain has also amassed a group of followers called 'Dark Brain Cult'. One of them, Debudabide, decided to take action shortly after with his group of amoeba-like monsters, later called 'Lamalice'.

In the short time after the battle against the Dark Brain, Asakusa City is under siege again by the Lamalice. Unaware of Debudabide's intents, Kouta transforms into Fighter Roar and deploys in the Compatible Kaiser to defend the city, but is overwhelmed, until Axel and Alfimi arrive as reinforcements, having returned to Earth following their self-imposed exile. Alfimi specifically requests they target the creatures. Unfortunately, so were the creatures, they were trying to capture Alfimi, and nearly succeeded. Despite the Soulgain ruined, Axel remain determined to save Alfimi to repay her saving his life. He picked up a blade-tonfa called Mizuchi Blade, and together with Kouta, rushed in to save Alfimi... but in process they were thrown into a portal. Ratsel, who witnessed the events as well, opted to store the Soulgain into the Kurogane for repairs.

Axel and Alfimi ended up in Endless Frontier universe, but the transportation damaged Axel's brain that he suffered amnesia, that not even Alfimi could restore. He became a flirtatious, happy-go-lucky man. While wandering in the universe, he encountered the lost units of the W-Series, including even the prototype, W00/Haken Browning, and the predecessor of Lamia, W07/Aschen Broedel. To find out about his memories, Axel ventured through the Endless Frontier universe, assisting the Shura warrior and Elfetale Princess; Aledy Naash and Neige Hausen; in their efforts to restore the chaos happening through the merging of verses. He was also reunited with Kouta there. Their quest culminated in the defeat of a rogue W unit, W05/Gymnos Basileus, predecessor of Wodan.

By this time, Axel was fully recovered in memory, and offered Haken to get to the real world and meet up with his other fellow W-units. However, Haken refused the offer as he has other duties with his allies here. Respecting his decision, Axel, Kouta and Alfimi once again stepped into the cross gate and also set up the events of the 2nd Original Generation.

    Episode 2.4: Another Century's Episode: R
Months after the invasion of the Shura, resulting in the "Shura Rebellion", Ryusei is testing the ART-1 at the Tesla Leict Institute. Sortied into a sparring match with Kyosuke in the Alt Eisen Reise, both pilots are mysteriously transported by a portal in the middle of the fight. Stranded in an unknown world, they encounter hostile forces, only to be saved by the Ark Alpha battleship, commanded by an android named "Autumn Four", who generated the portal with her ship and requests their assistance in protecting it. Left with no choice, Ryusei and Kyosuke collaborate with Autumn as they journey through the deserted world of "Eria". In a twist, Masaki also arrives on Eria with the Cybuster, having entered a similar portal on his way back home to La Gias, and allies with his old comrades. Furthermore, other people from multiple dimensions make their way to Eria, having been thrown into the portals erupting from their worlds and join the Ark Alpha.

In their travel through Eria, the Ark Alpha and its allies are met with resistance by members of "Season", a group of androids charged with maintaining "System A.C.E.", a planetary shield and defensive grid surrounding Eria. Season leader "Winter One" was responsible for having ordered the death of every person on Eria. Determined to stop Season, the Ark Alpha goes to where System A.C.E. is located, defeating each member of Season until only Winter One is left. When cornered, Winter One's body is suddenly compromised and commandeered by Dr. Shiki, a human who secretly uploaded his mind into the android before death. Shiki claims he created the Season androids and is responsible for having Season turned against the humans of Eria. He intends to use the Ark Alpha to recreate life on the planet, as the battleship houses the necessary genetic materials needed, but with him as the new ruler of Eria. Despite the full power of System A.C.E. at his disposal, Shiki is destroyed, along with System A.C.E. by Autumn Four and her allies.

Autumn Four sends her new friends back to their respective dimensions, while she stays on Eria to reseed humanity with the Ark Alpha. Although Ryusei and Kyosuke's whereabouts are unknown, Masaki returns to their dimension successfully and finds himself in the wilderness, yet among familiar territory...

    Episode 3: Gaia Saviour
6 months have passed since the end of the Shura Rebellion, and the Hagane-Hiryu Custom team is renamed the "Steel Dragon Battle Group". During this time, rumours of a build-up of military activity and weapons development at Aidoneus Island, former headquarters of the Divine Crusaders, is abound, generating suspicion among the populace, despite this being a realization of President Graien's plans after the Shura Rebellion, a new military unit christened 'Gaia Sabers'. On a stormy night in the Pacific Ocean, a lone unit is fleeing Aidoneus Island, chased by Duvan Org and his "sister" Ariel Org. Demanding the rogue pilot to surrender, Duvan captures the unit with his colossal Alles Geist, only for the pilot to self-destruct his machine.

In the same time, the head of the Project Terrestrial Dream, Filio Presty, succumbed to sickness, leaving his legacy Altairlion to his chosen pilot Ibis Douglas and his fiancee Tsugumi Takakura. However, its sister unit was taken away by Filio's disgruntled sister Sleigh Presty and she would be spotted amongst either the Neo Divine Crusaders and the Gaia Sabers. During a test run on Altairlion, Ibis encountered a pod containing a young amnesiac boy who remembered nothing about his past, except his name, 'Ing'. He was soon delivered to either the Hagane or the Hiryuu Custom, but around the same time Ing was delivered, both battleships and several pilots were taken to the underground world of La Gias via summoning of Prince Feil-Lord Gran Bilseia.

Around this time, Masaki arrived from his adventures from Planet Eria and became aware of the current chaos in La Gias. After rendezvousing with the Hagane, he reunited with his old friends; Herald of the Lord of Elemental of Water Gaddeath, Tytti Noorbuck, his adopted sister Presia Zenosakis, and Princess Xenia Gran Bilseia. He also met a girl named Mio Sasuga, who would succeed the Lord of Elemental of Earth Zamzeed. Around the same time, Bian's daughter, Lune Zoldark, who has been involved in both the L5 Campaign, Inspector Wars and Shura Rebellion under the Earth Federation, was also sucked into this world, and reunited with both Kyosuke and Ryusei, the Hiryuu Custom and also the Herald of the Lord of Elemental of Fire Granveil, Huang Yang Long. From both sides, Masaki and Lune solved the chaos and prevented the civil wars pertaining the underground world, and prevented the resurrection of the God of Evil Shiva Volkruss, even at cost of the lives of Prince Feil and Langran General Kirkus Zan Valfarbia. However, to their surprise, they found out that Shu has been revived without his memory. However, behind the scenes, he plotted the restoration of his memories and the fall of Shiva Volkruss itself (Detailed in Dark Prison below). Masaki and Lune stayed in La Gias as both Hagane and Hiryuu Custom returned to the surface world.

On the surface, the Aggressors under Kai were still scouting the Earth to protect it, and along the way also brought along Hugo Medio, recovering from his fatal wounds at cost of being cyborgified, and teaming up with Aqua Centolm, student of the esteemed researcher Eldy Mitte, in hunting the rogue machine 'Medius Locus'. They're also joined with siblings Joshua Radcliffe and Cliana Rimskaya, to test machines using the new Sympathia system. However, unknown forces struck when the Earth forces were still at minimum; not just the suspicious movements of the Gaia Sabers, there's also a rogue AI inhabiting a ninja-like machine called JinRai, hunting down the Dynamic General Guardian units. There were weird creatures claimed to be under the 'Garden of Baral' terrorizing the Earth and capturing the tiger part of RyuKoOh/KoRyuOh, and in the South Pole, Joshua's father Felio accidentally opened a Cross Gate, bringing forth the despair-feeding race Ruina to terrorize the Earth. And a mysterious woman named Amara assaulted the Tesla Leicht Institute and utterly destroyed the whole Huckebein line of mecha. To top it off, another armada of the Zuvorg Alliance, calling themselves 'Guests', led by Teniquette Zezernan, arrived at Earth to continue where Wendolo failed. Thankfully, at the arrival of the Guests, the Steel Dragon Battle Group returned from La Gias.

The Steel Dragon Battle Group, combined with the Aggressors, concentrated on fortifying their defenses, and in the same time, Ing awakened the successor of the Huckebein unit, the Exbein 'Ashe', while a Gaia Saber pilot, Ariel Org, defected from the Gaia Sabers, unable to withstand its atrocities. Soon, however, the Steel Dragon Battle Group was called for a meeting with Arteil Stenback of the Gaia Sabers himself, witnessed by President Graien Gruzman. However, the meeting ended messily, with both Hagane and Hiryuu Custom being attacked by the Gaia Sabers. In process of escaping, they accidentally killed Graien, and Arteil used it to make the group a scapegoat for assassination of the President. Making matter worse, around this time, due to the Ruina's machinations, the Earth was sealed away and both battleships was separated.

In Earth, the Hiryuu Custom took defense of Asakusa city, helped by Kouta after returning from the Endless Frontier universe. They picked up a boy they met during the Shura Rebellion, named Touma Kanou, while Ibis managed to rescue a little girl named Irui. In the same time, the Sympathia system resonate strongly towards some generals of the Ruina, the Melior Esse. Joshua felt a strong link with the Melior Esse of ice, Glacies, while Rim felt a strong link with the Melior Esse of wind, Ventus. In Space, the Hagane dealt with the forthcoming Guests attacks, and also reuniting with both Axel and Alfimi. Alfimi just dropped Axel to the Hagane and left on her own, while Ariel's brother, Duvan Org, starts to get obsessed in trying to absorb Alfimi due to the resonance within the core of his Alles Geist (which he temporarily succeeded much later).

Another assault in the Asakusa City brought the help of a delinquent named Michiru Hanaten, riding the G-Bunkaran, alongside Minaki Tomine, the distraught daughter of the creator of JinRai, Kaoru Tomine. With Minaki's help, the Steel Dragon Battle Group managed to subdue JinRai, and Minaki made preparations to convert it into a force of good, with Touma being designated as its pilot. Ibis also managed to convince Sleigh to bury her jealousy and worked together to make Filio's ultimate legacy come true: the Hyperion. The RyuKoOh is reformed thanks to retrieving the Tiger mecha from the Baral Garden, and Axel joined the Steel Dragon Battle Group for good with his Soulgain fully repaired.

However, Hugo and Aqua also had a shocking revelation, the pilot of Medius Locus turned out to be a disillusioned Albero Esto, along with Eldy Mitte, who has gone insane. This revelation culminated in Hugo nearly dying, and coming back from the brink of death, but they managed to confiscate greater mechas under Eldy. Albero also found out that he's been had, but it was a little too late as Eldy betrayed and killed him. Hugo eventually resolved to stop Eldy. In the same time, Eldy teamed up with Duvan in order to witness the growth of the Medius Locus' AI, AI-1, whom she considered her child in a twisted way.

Around the same time these was happening, the Elemental Lords went to the surface on the hint that Shu was planning something. Shu ends up giving definitive proof that the Steel Dragon Battle Group was innocent and had the Gaia Sabers and Guests blunder. He also reveals that Zezernan had implemented a singularity in the Granzon manipulating probability to draw in external threats such as the Einsts, the Shadow Mirrors, the Shura, and Dark Brain to push humanity to the brink and accept hisr protection agreement. He collapses this singularity but mentions that it wouldn't stop cosmic plans already in motion. On realizing the threat the Guests pose, Masaki swore to protect the Earth first before he return to La Gias. In turn, he, Yang Long, Tytti and Mio joined the Steel Dragon Battle Group, and later picked up Lune, Presia and Kirkus' son Zashford. In the short time after, another attack by a Machine Children remnant towards Ing gave him the revelation that he was a clone and his full name is 'Ing Egret'. But in the same time, he managed to awaken the true potential of Ashe, bringing forth the 'EX-Exbein'.

Joshua and Rim eventually recovered Felio's final legacy mecha and strengthened their resolve to understand and befriend both Glacies and Ventus. Around this time, the new and improved JinRai was completed and christened RaiOh. However, when Touma used it, a hidden system called the BSK system brainwashed into a berserker warrior. The group managed to recover Touma, and reoutfitted RaiOh with a Direct Motion Link system, while he is put under the tutelage of Axel in terms of hand-to-hand combat to better pilot the RaiOh. In the same time, Joshua and Rim succeeded in bringing Glacies and Ventus out of the Ruina's services, but not without a cost. Rim secretly hid the fact that she suffered a Split Personality due to testing the Sympathia system, in cockpit, she's the aggressive, serious girl Liana, and outside cockpit, she's the timid, sweet girl Chris. In process of saving Glacies and Ventus, the personality of Chris was sacrificed, leaving Liana the sole soul inside Rim.

Around this time, however, the Garden of Baral made an announcement under its agent Son Ganlong, about bringing forth an utopia, but it involved sealing the Earth in a barrier erected by the Garden itself. The Garden's agents eventually also moved to kidnap their promised 'priestess'... Irui. The team was split due to this second sealing. The Hagane stayed on Earth to eventually defeat the Gaia Sabers. In space, the Hiryuu Custom attempted to save the Moon Cradle from the Guests, but they were not alone. Shu came along with his companions to help the group. Mekibos, surviving his 'death' by Wendolo, resurfaced and convinced the Guest generals that the Zuvorg Alliance has been impressed with the humans and no longer view them as threats. Zezernan, however, proved too stubborn and pressed on with his attack, getting himself killed. As the Guests return, Mekibos stayed with the Hiryuu Custom to eventually become Zuvorg Alliance's representative.

Once reunited, the Steel Dragon Battle Group executed the Operation "Ice Break", eliminating the Ruina in South Pole. They went so far into bringing forth the Ruina leader, Perfectio, possessing the body of the dead Felio, from the Cross Gate inside. However, Perfectio was a being that fed on hate and negative emotions, just like Dark Brain, he couldn't truly perish As Long as There Is Evil. The only way to defeat him was to seal him together with someone, and much to Joshua, Rim and Glacies' dismay, Ventus volunteered to do the job, sacrificing himself.

Eldy and Duvan attacked the group after the defeat of Perfectio. However, Eldy also betrayed Duvan and merged with the AI-1 as a monstrous blob-like creature. Hugo and Aqua put an end to Eldy's madness, and they managed to save Alfimi from Duvan, and they crossed the Cross Gate into the realm of the Baral Garden, where eventually they managed to recruit a betrayed agent of the Garden of Baral, Kukuru. Making their way to the top of the Garden, they came to encounter Irui, now the Guardian of Earth Irui Gan Eden. In her desire to protect the Earth, she sealed the Earth and used the Garden's weaponry to devastate the extraterrestrials that threaten the Earth. The Steel Dragon Battle Group would not stand for this extremist action and eventually they defeated the Gan Eden. However, when they defeated the Guardian God, Arteil Stenback mysteriously arrived, bringing forth the AI-1 and merged it with the Gan Eden and Ing, taking the Steel Dragon Battle Group with him to a mysterious dimension.

In this dimension, they found out that Ing was not just any clone, but a clone of Ingram Prisken, needed by Arteil to fulfill his ultimate plan to surpass the creator of the Cross Gate and attain godlike power to topple the creator... and that his true identity was in fact Euzeth Gozzo. The Steel Dragon Battle Group was at first overwhelmed with Euzzeth's strength and his mecha Adamatron. However, the captain of Gaia Sabers' main battleship Air Christmas, who turns out to be actually a surviving Lee Linjun, arrived in the dimension, fed up with Euzzeth's betrayal. After giving his last words to the Steel Dragon Battle Group and encouraging them to defend the Earth, he rammed the Air Christmas to the Adamatron. He was killed in process, but this action popped Ing and the EX-Exbein out of the Adamatron and he eventually joined the Steel Dragon Battle Group to eventually bring down Euzzeth for good. However, on his death, he left an open Cross Gate in space near Earth. Just like Alfimi before, Kukuru was tied with the Garden of Baral, with its destruction, she perished as well.

With the death of Graien, the more Reasonable Authority Figure was reinstated to the Federation. Masaki, Lune, Shu, the Heralds of Elemental Lord and the rest of the La Gias residents opted to return to La Gias once more. Hugo and Aqua ended up sticking with the Aggressors, while Lamia is sent back to ATX Team in order to help Ariel, who was scouted as a new ATX member, solve her short lifespan problem by reverse-engineering her design of W Numbers. Joshua, Rim and Glacies continue to investigate the Cross Gate, helped with Gilliam, in hopes not just to find a way to bring Ventus back without damaging the seal of Perfectio, but also solving Glacies' similar short lifespan problem. Mekibos also finalized the true alliance between the Zuvorg Alliance and Earth, noting that there will be more threat to Earth, such as Ze Balmary Empire, but the Zuvorg Alliance will help defend Earth and the galaxy.

Unknown to the Steel Dragon Battle Group, the little Irui survived these ordeals, waking up with memories intact in a certain shore, rescued by a follower of the Garden of Baral. Irui held the full belief that she would one day reunite with her friends...

    Episode 3.1: Dark Prison
After Shu perished at the climax of Unified Wisdom, due to his link towards Shiva Volkruss, he was brought back to life by the cult in La Gias. However, he was not restored with his memory intact. A follower named Saphine Zeora Volkruss was assigned to keep an eye on him. In his search for his memories, Shu also joins up with two Langran royalties, Princess Monica Gran Bilseia and Prince Tellius, enarmoring both of them. Another cultist, Gaen, along with a Wild Card ally of Masaki, Middle-Eastern Ahmed Hamdi, test pilot Yong Gebana, and a member of 'Team Jelba', Selena Recital and her partner Alberta also helped out in Shuu's entourage. They also steal a red Grungust Type-2 from a battleship, which Alberta uses as an upgrade.

At first puzzled by his loss of memory, they mostly come back after meeting Masaki again. Remembering the man who killed him, his memories return slowly.

By the end of it, Shu recovered all his memories and realized that his death was his plan all along, since he can't kill himself, he manipulate the Earth Federation to gang up on him and kill him to sever his link with Shiva Volkruss and earning his freedom. When he was ordered to sacrifice Monica for Volkruss, Shu turned his back on the Dark God. Volkruss tried to control Sefine and almost succeed but she manage to break free. Volkruss then force Shu to use the Neo Granzon and control him. However since Shu was free from his link to the evil god, it doesn't work as planned and Shu slayed him with the power of the Neo Granzon.

After reaching the surface, Shu and the others had to deal with the Ruina and the Guests. Also, Yong is a member of the Zuvorg Alliance, spying on Zezenan for omitting critical information. The group also steals a Leige Geios for Yong's use while on the moon. The final stage takes place after Shu's direct participation in the events of Gaia Savior. Fortunately Shu and the others (Monica and Saphine) show up as reinforcements in the final battle against Keparoc, who plans on invading Earth after the Earth's armed forces were exhausted in the Sealing War. They stop Keparoc's forces even though they were vastly outnumbered.

Episode 3.2: The Lord of Elemental Part 2
The second half of Lord of Elemental has many branching paths that lead to multiple separate endings, some of which are not canonical due to the events in the subsequent games. The characters and order of events change depending on the player's actions in the first-half of the game and the decisions they make in the second part. All of the routes touch on most of the same major events within La Gias after the Langran/Shutedonias war and the deaths of Feil and Kirkus. The major events include:

- Masaki, the heralds from 2nd Original Generation, and Ryunne return to La Gias to fulfil their duty to protect the land from oncoming calamity. Another is predeicted to hit within 1 year.

- Laset of Shutedonias being revealed as the true architect of the original attack on the Langran capital that killed their king and sent Shu after Masaki to the surface.

- The crazed alchemist, Zetsu of Bagonia, becomes head of the Bagonian military.

- Shutedonias is in fact split into two factions: Laset's and Rodney Jes'ha's.

- Wendy is revealed to have been suffering from split personality disorder with the soul of her unborn twin sister, Tuddy. (Tuddy is the one who actually designed the Cybuster). This condition has been exacerbated since Lastet's original attack.

- Shutedonias and Bagonia both declare war on Langran due to Laset's and Zetsu's influence, respectively.

- Wendy/Tuddy creates the "unlucky" 17th Masouki Ishmael. It's described as having power on par with a Masou Kishin.

- Laset and Zetsu are both killed and their ambitions of war are defeated. Lubikka is also killed in action regardless of the route, generally still being a rabid attack dog. However, Tyutti has gotten over all of the tragedies that he caused to her, thus she's no longer provoked with his presence, only having pity for someone who was consumed with his own sadistic vices, making his death even more undignified as no one even bothers to remember him.

- Rodney takes over Shutedonia after Laset's death, promising to reform the nation into a force of good. Generally, as seen in the later Masou Kishin episodes, he succeeds.

- Masaki and Ryunne assist Wendy with putting Tuddy to rest within Wendy's soul.

The three endings are as follows:

1. Luzorl is resurrected and Masaki and Shu needs to team up to finish him for good. Masaki and Shu reconcile and decide not to be enemies after the battle.

2. Tuddy takes over Wendy, she steals the Ishmael and goes on a rampage for not being able to be born and live as a normal human.

a. If certain conditions are met Masaki and Ryunne will be able to save Wendy.

b. If not Wendy dies. This is defintiely not canonical as Wendy is alive in Revelation of the Evil God.

Episode 3.3: Revelation of Evil God
Coming soon

    Episode 3.4: Pride of Justice
Coming soon

Episode 3.5: Coffin of the End
It was prophesized in La Gias that a calamity that would wreck the majority of La Gias would come, led by 'an army of Giant Gods'. At this point, such calamity eventually arrived under the leadership of Yotennai and the forces of Langran suffered an extremely heavy loss: All the Elemental Lords were taken into the custody of Yotennai, though only three Heralds went missing, Tytti managed to escape captivity but was forced to lay low. Additionally, even Shuu stood up in defense of La Gias... and even with Neo Granzon, he was defeated and the machine became inoperable for awhile.

The chaos eventually reached the Republic of Almera where another surface dweller, Sakito Asagi, became entangled with the current problem, riding on his machine Raveraid. After gathering his friends, he managed to encounter Tytti, now riding a normal machine, and Shuu, now having to command a battleship and additionally along with a 'convinced' Amara, who was thought to have perished during the final battle with Euzzeth Gozzo, but his death activated a Cross Gate linking to La Gias, she fell there and was brainwashed by Yotennai, until Shuu himself came to the picture. Through trials and tribulations, they managed to rescue the other Elemental Lords and their Heralds, and everyone stopped pulling their punches, they went all out to defeat Yotennai...

In process of doing so, the Elementals became exhausted and they went back to slumber, with the citizens of La Gias unable to sense them again, and the Elemental Lords unable to be used again, sealing themselves in stasis. Masaki was pretty sure that they would meet again... especially as how Yotennai wasn't completely defeated... in fact, she just fell onto another Cross Gate... Though the crisis towards La Gias have been averted and the land may rebuild, the threat presented by Yotennai still loom throughout the multiverse.

    Episode 3.6: Project X Zone
During the off-time after the battle against Euzzeth Gozzo, Sanger Zonvolt encountered the Lamalice under Debudabide once again. While battling it, he ended up being thrown into the Endless Frontier just like Axel and Alfimi, where he met both Haken Browning and Kaguya Nanbu. Things spiral out of control where first the demon known as Jedah Dohma antagonize the three, and then followed with a series of crisis involving various worlds even beyond the Endless Frontier-verse. Fortunately for Sanger, Kaguya used her spiritual power to materialize his mecha's weapon, the Colossal Blade, into a still-humongous human-sized weapon that Sanger could wield on foot. With his Dygenguard using Direct-Motion control, replicating its moves never become an issue, and thus he could still go around smiting evils during the whole crisis.

They would team up with many characters to defeat the evil that was plaguing the multiverse. Once the crisis was solved (after a very long trek), Sanger was able to return to the OG-verse using the datas that sent Axel, Alfimi and Kouta to the OG Verse last time. Unable to properly use the transporter, Aschen uses Code DTD, punches it, and accidentally extends the radius of the transported area to 1200% This causes Haken and Aschen to be brought with Sanger to the OG Verse. There would be another crisis, but he, Haken and Kaguya were not involved in it.

    Episode 4: The Moon Dwellers

Prelude

A few months have passed since the battle against Euzzeth Gozzo. The events of that war would be known as the Sealing War. And although the Terra Federation had their Reasonable Authority Figure once again reinstated, Hagane Captain Tetsuya Onodera realized that regardless of his efforts, he still had a hand in the death of the former president Graien Grazman. For that, he and Captain Lefina Enfield accepted their punishment of their demotion in ranks, while Lefina retained her captainhood to the Hiryu Custom, Tetsuya became an executive officer of Hagane for the new Captain Gint Kitaumi, who was thankfully also reasonable.

E-Selda's Flight - Destruction of Ash'ari Kreutzer

Within the mothership of the Fury, the Gau-La Fury, Knight Al-Van Lunks confronted his master E-Selda Shuun who was preparing to leave with the race's secret weapon Granteed, planning to expose something vital about the race to the world, even if it goes against the law of the Fury. While at first the master overwhelms the student, a sneak attack by the Spy faction under Karo-Ran Vi heavily wounded E-Selda, but he still managed to escape. Getting out, he witnessed the Spy faction under So-Des Zuo attacking and destroying the moon-based facility Ash'ari Kreutzer and killing nearly everyone in sight for some reason. E-Selda managed to put a stop to the attack and drove away So-Des, but he was too late, there was little to no survivor, excepting two girls: Katia Grignarl and Melua Melna Meia. To protect them, he took them in as Granteed descended to Earth.

Al-Van caught up to the Ash'ari Kreutzer facility and was devastated at the destruction, after all, he posed there as a human worker under the pseudonym 'Alvin Lunks (Alistar Links)' and the majority of his human friends were killed as a result. Unable to find any other survivors due to a new mission assigned to him, Al-Van prepared to leave, but then spotted one of the Fury mecha Bellzelute approaching, piloted by his human girlfriend Calvina Coulange and carrying the friend of the two girls before, Festenia Muse. He left without saying a word, but Calvina spotted his mecha and concluded that the mecha was responsible for the facility's destruction and the deaths of her friends. Solemnly, she swore vengeance.

The Return of Many

Meanwhile, back in Earth, at Sapporo, a young schoolboy, Touya Shiun, mused that he has been receiving a strange dream of a beautiful yet sad woman apologizing at him and making references about royalty and knight. The only friends he seemed could talk about this are just the twins Akimi and Akemi Akatsuki, who were soon called by their friend-mechanic Jinpuu, who has summoned both Kouta and Shouko Azuma to help him develop the Soulsaber mecha for the Mogami Industries, a mecha that even high-schoolers can pilot, with both Akatsuki twins as its pilot. And to test it out, they performed a mock-combat with the Compatible Kaiser.

However, at this time, E-Selda has descended successfully to Earth, right next to Touya's house, with So-Des hot on trails. Most of the Fury soldiers he brought rode the mecha used by Guests, raising suspicion towards Kouta that the Guests betrayed the peace treaty. Regardless, E-Selda told Touya to get on Granteed for shelter as he worked with both Kouta and Akimi to drive away So-Des. However, afterwards, E-Selda succumbed to his wounds and died in front of Touya, who was screaming with grief witnessing his father's death.

Regardless, Kouta decided to discuss this matter with the Aggressors, bringing in both Akatsuki siblings for further Soulsaber testing as well as investigating Granteed, while also witnessing a weird event where several pilots lost consciousness and end up paralyzing anyone that comes in contact with their mecha. Just as they're about to start investigating, the sky went dark and out from it came a dragon made of crystal, Crystal Dragoon. Roar was shocked as it was a part of the Dark Brain Army and they come to settle the score with Roar. At this point, Touya was unable to bear with the prospect of constantly running away and decided to try and help the Aggressors and Kouta. While at first unable to even move Granteed, Katia offers to enter the cockpit with him and with her presence, the Granteed was able to move and helped Kouta drive away the Crystal Dragoon. In the same time, Jinpuu completed the GG module for Soulsaber, allowing Akemi to use it mainly as opposed to Akimi.

Meanwhile, in space, a group of Fury under the command of knight Jua-Mu Dalby attempted to apprehend the Bellzelute by disguising as Terra Federation soldiers, but their cover was quickly blown by Calvina, who deduced that they have to be in cahoots with the ones that destroyed the facility, attacking them. The new PTX Team under Irmgard Kazahara, consisting himself, Ryoto Hikawa, Rio Mei Long and Ing Egret, came across the battle when they were on a mission to check the Cross Gate, and even if Calvina in her anger dismissed them rudely, they still helped her anyway, allowing her to calm down a little. Irm identified her as a war veteran from the Divine Wars who was called 'White Lynx' and took her, along with Tenia, to the Hagane, where they met the SRX Team.

Only for Guest mechas to attack them, also causing them to consider if the Zuvorg Alliance broke away their treaty. However, at that point, a Fury mecha also popped up, this time piloted by the Knight Fu-Lu Mu-Lu. Regardless of that, Calvina disobeyed order to stay put and deployed on the Bellzelute to inquire about the destruction of the facility from Fu-Lu. However, the female Knight didn't say anything else, aside of giving them and the SRX Team a good bout of fight.

Just right after surviving the battle with Fu-Lu, the Hagane was met with a surprise encounter with the seemingly revived Alles Geist, making them wonder if Duvan Org has come Back from the Dead. They decided to descend to Earth to discuss their discoveries.

While both sides became acquainted with each other, and Tenia reunited with Katia and Melua, it would seem that Calvina did not get along with Touya, who viewed him as some sort of tragic figure-wannabe that whined at the death of one person, even if it's his father, only for Touya to retort that she didn't personally see her friends die in front of her like he did with his father. In the same time, Kyosuke Nanbu was informed by Marion Radom about a the plans for a Gespenst model left behind by the Shadow-Mirrors and found in the Gaia Sabers' data banks, codenamed 'Gespenst Haken'. In light of the new threats arising, Radom has decided to build the new model under the Halloween Plan. And after investigating Granteed, Prof. Kenzo Kobayashi deduced that it might help to summon Joshua Radcliff and Cliana Rimskaya to them, suspecting that Granteed's system might be similar to the Sympathia System.

In the same time, former president Brian Midcrid, now a mere ambassador, suggested the Hiryu Custom to take flight to the space once more for a treaty with another extraterrestrial race...

The Fury Attacks - Approach to the Gadisword

The Fury once again attacked under Jua-Mu, distracting the Hagane in Earth, when in truth they attacked the base while being spearheaded by Al-Van, with only Guilliam Yeager as their last line of defense. During the chaos, Tenia was wounded, rendering Calvina unable to pilot Bellzelute, until Melua offered to get into the cockpit with Calvina, allowing her to pilot the Bellzelute and along with Akimi, helped Guilliam repel the Fury. However, the moment she came out of the hangar, she spotted Al-Van's mecha and flew in rage attempting to kill him.

Once again unable to just stand around doing nothing, Touya resolved to help with Granteed again. This caught Al-Van's attention, thinking that it was E-Selda inside the Granteed, but was surprised to see that it's his son instead. Calvina saw him distracted and attempted a sneak attack, only to be intercepted and used as a hostage so Touya would surrender himself and the Granteed instead. However, not only Calvina managed to escape by herself (with the help of Melua's idea), Touya resolved not to give Granteed to someone like Al-Van. Overwhelmed at this, Al-Van declared a change in plan and retreated.

In the same time, the Hiryu Custom received assistance from Yong Gebana, who revealed that it's possible that the Guests that attacked them belonged to the splinter faction of Zuvorg that she fought when working with Shu Shirakawa. Regardless, they finally arrived to their target extraterrestrial... the Gadisword. The treaty seemed to work well, but they received a request to find a missing member of the Gadisword, Fairey Klivia, who was suspected to flee to Earth. However, in the same time, Guilliam found a pod containing an amnesiac woman who wore something similar to the uniform of Mogami Heavy Industries. At first dubbed 'Sleeping Beauty', this woman ended up remembering that she was called 'Fairey Firefly'.

Lamalice Revealed - Truth of Ash'ari Kreutzer

The Steel Dragon Squad regrouped, also rejoined by Joshua Radcliffe, who was called specifically on the suspicion that the Cytron system was similar to his Sympathia system, which was proven to be true. But on the next encounter with the Fury, they were shocked with how the Fury has access to a time-stopping method done by their Larseillum, enough that they could transport Granteed out of sight. Touya, however, was safe thanks to the interference of Yuuki Jaggar, Ricarla Borgnine and Raul Gureden. On being informed of what the Fury was capable of, Raul and Fiona decided to halt their business venture and opt for something that they dreaded after the battle with Dark Brain: the reconstruction of the Time Flow Engine and refitting Excellence for combat again.

The Lamalice eventually made an appearance in Shibuya, causing chaos. Axel Almer and Alfimi were deployed by the Kurogane to check things out and confirmed that these were the things that threw them to the Endless Frontier, and Kouta could confirm as well. Debudabide also personally made an appearance over there, but was unable to make a dent, and spilled the beans of the existence of Dark Brain cult. The Lamalice continued to spread chaos that even the Fury decided to take action for this. Under the order of Princess Shania-Mia Eterna-Fura, Al-Van deployed to battle the Lamalice, assisted with Jua-Mu.

The Steel Dragon Squad were also sent to the place of battle, Taipei, but Jua-Mu instead opted to attack the humans against his orders, blocking the squad. This was the beginning of reveals that would shock Calvina as first Jua-Mu reveal himself as the one who attacked her after returning, and after encountering Al-Van, he revealed himself to be the pilot of the Raftclans spotted at the facility's destruction, and her boyfriend Alvin Lunks. After admitting of being on the scene, Al-Van offers her to join the Fury, but distraught at this, Calvina renounced her relationship with him and declared her intent for vengeance. However, because of this encounter, the Terra Federation Forces suspected her of conspiring with the enemy and as a result she was detained, not permitted to enter any further battle, although it ended rather shortly.

Return from the Endless Frontier

Meanwhile, the Kurogane was scouting the place where Sanger Zonvolt was last seen, the Devil Sea. Unfortunately, they instead ran into Debudabide, forcing Ratsel Feinschmeker to deploy with his Aussenseiter. But just after a short bout of combat, a portal appeared in the sky and from there, out popped not only Sanger, but also Haken Browning and Aschen Brodel after the former two's trip in the Endless Frontier and beyond. Ratsel then covered the Kurogane to reach Sanger so he can help out with his Dygenguard while Haken discovered the Gespenst Haken and realized that it was made for him, and he proceeded to help the duo.

Meanwhile, the Hiryu Kai prepared to move to the next sighting of Lamalice at Jakarta. But before they could do that, the Crystal Dragoon reappeared, which proved to be a distraction when the other leader of the Dark Brain cult, Skull Knight appeared and ruined Hiryu Custom's warp field eventually delaying their flight for 3 days and giving Debudabide enough time to round up his Lamalice. However, in the same time, the Kurogane arrived along with Sanger, Ratsel, Haken, Aschen and also Rishu Togo and Shine Hausen.

After introducing to each other, the group transported to Jakarta and dealt with the Lamalice, while Touya also learns to better control the Cytron system with guidance from Ryusei and Josh. However, the Alles Geist reappeared in spite of being attacked by Lamalice, running straight to Ariel, but was stopped before any serious damage could be dealt. The Steel Dragon Squad prepared for the next area where Lamalice was spotted, Delhi, but they had to deal with the Gleiknr, war merchants and part of the Zuvorg Alliance.

Rubble Pile's Conspiracy - Fury's Plans

Meanwhile, back in the Rubble Pile where the Gadisword resided, the ambassador Malm Quisidi was mysteriously incapacitated by a heart attack, and his adviser/successor, Hellruga Izberga, decided that the best course of action to preserve Gadisword is to align with the Zuvorg Alliance, particularly Gleiknr's leader Gomoudokka. While this happens, two of Gadisword's ace pilots, Sieg Altreet and Sally Emil suspect a certain foul play at hand and it might be related with the departure of Fairey Klivia.

Meanwhile, back at Gau-La Furia, Gu Landon kept pressing Shania-Mia to press on capturing Granteed, but she gave the condition that the pilots must be kept alive. With the help of So-Des and spearheaded by Al-Van and Jua-Mu, they encountered the Steel Dragon Squad and used their time stop ability to bring Granteed to them, but Guilliam has prepared a trap to stop their plan to go out of control, and Al-Van's sense of chivalry prevented So-Des to do more harm. Seeing the two culprits of the destruction of Ash'ari Kreutzer was enough to get Calvina incensed and she refused to listen to Al-Van's reasoning, while Jua-Mu continued to taunt her. In the end, Al-Van retreated and Calvina ended up having to halt her pursuit of Al-Van. However, after battle, she was visited by Glacies who urged her to try and talk to Al-Van. At this moment, still distraught with overall events, Calvina dismissed whatever Glacies said, but something about her nature surprised her and made her contemplate a bit.

In the same time, Sieg and Sally were planning to descend to Earth while trying to find Fairey, coming in to the Steel Dragon Squad with peaceful intents. However, they were instead under attack by the Gleiknr forces, with the Steel Dragon Squad coming in to the rescue. This causes Fairey to regain her memories, her full name is Fairey Klivia and she's from Gardisord. Sieg and Sally were then put under high surveilance by the Terra Federation Forces, but somehow Akimi and Akemi managed to befriend them.

Lamalice clean up

The Terra Federation Forces continued its plans to deal with the Lamalice threat throughout the world, splitting their forces to Paris and another to Karachi, the last one to lure out the Fury so they do not interfere. The Paris operation was a success despite having to take a detour to Aviano base to defend it from Crystal Dragoon, and in there, Sieg and Sally helped defend the base, giving them good standings on the Federation although they were not completely trusted yet. On the other hand, before arriving to Paris, they encountered a group of masked soldiers that somehow Viletta and Ing were familiar with. It was none other than the higher echelons of Ze Balmary Empire above the Aerogators. However, they weren't interested in direct assault and quickly retreated. Still, it somehow served as an omen for the future.

In Karachi, however, they end up facing off against Debudabide and one never-seen-before agent of the Dark Brain Cult, the Skull Knight. And as expected, the Fury arrived. Al-Van contacted Calvina in trying to explain his innocence and the plan for Fury's future, but Calvina was clearly not in the mood, while the Hiryu Custom recorded their conversation to get a better picture of the conflict, with them noticing that what the Fury called 'Volda's Gate' and their main problem to be none other than the Cross Gate. However, Fu-Lu came to order Al-Van to retreat since his contact was Calvina was seen as a violation of order, and as a result, Al-Van took the punishment of being detained and stripped of his Fury Knight rank.

New Powers for new threats

Jua-Mu was promoted into a full-fledged Knight as a result, with Fu-Lu explaining that as a Knight, using the Larseillum is a taboo. He then used the time when the Steel Dragon Battle Group was defending from Lamalice attack to mount his assault, blaming Calvina for Al-Van's demotion and specifically targeted her Bellzelute while ordering the rest of his knights to seize Granteed, like usual. Little did he know that Calvina has been specifically training to counter Al-Van, and the less experienced Jua-Mu was no match for her, made worse with him insulting the memories of the people of Ash'ari Kreutzer which riled up Calvina even more. His lack of experience caused him to panic and activated Larseillum to save his life. While he managed to greatly ruin Bellzelute and wounded Calvina, Jua-Mu retreated in panic of breaking the taboo, enabling the more keen members of the Steel Dragon Battle Group (such as Ratsel and Guilliam) to deduce on why they didn't even use Larseillum again since the first time. Calvina was sent to the med bay and the Bellzelute was rendered unusable, but Guilliam noted that there is a chance to restore it. Meanwhile, Jua-Mu's taboo-breaking act reached the ears of Gu-Landon and regardless of the reasoning, Gu-Landon handed out the punishment to strip Jua-Mu's recent knighthood once again and demoted him to Administrator/spy duties.

However, shortly after the battle with Jua-Mu, the Gleiknr-part of Zuvorg Alliance mounted a double-headed attack. The majority of the Steel Dragon Battle Group ended up being stationed in Hiryu Custom, but suddenly, a new Gardisordian mecha wielding an enormous scythe, the Augar, arrived. Its pilot, Vaught Nicholaus, demanded the return of Sieg, Sally and Fairey, but the Hagane refused to give a clear answer, causing Vaught to go on a rampage with the battleship undefended. However, help did arrive thanks to Jinpuu nearby finishing the upgrades to the Soulsaber into the Super Soulsaber, allowing Akimi and Akemi to fight Vaught with it on a standstill until Hiryu Custom arrived. Although, the battle was won, Sieg, Sally and Fairey were put under suspicion of being spies for the Gardisordians. Fortunately, Akimi and Akemi came to their defenses, and they also admitted that if they go back to Gardisord, chances are that they will be executed by Hellruga's forces.

Guilliam directed the team to Berlin, where a branch of Ash'ari Kreutzer still stood, and took Calvina in there where she learned that they were developing a new version Bellzelute, the Bellzelute Brigandy, under the orders of both Al-Van and E-Selda. She also used this chance to ask some questions in regards of the Fury. The other team members were at least returning to Izu base, relaxing and getting to know each other, especially Touya, who developed identity crisis due to realizing that his father was a Fury. Raul and Fiona noted that the 'items' they're developing should be good to go now and they have to take it personally, and so they're entrusting the Excellence Rescue to Despinis, and she already developed enough confidence to be its head pilot.

Suddenly, Debudabide initiated another Lamalice attack in Japan. And in this time, the Fury intervened as early as possible and with the spies Kalo-Ran and So-Des leading, they waste no time to use the Larseillaum and whisked away Granteed, along with Touya and one between Katia, Festenia and Melua; whoever was the closest with him; successfully. So-Des stayed behind to attack the Steel Dragon Battle Group along with Debudabide, but eventually retreated. However, he was intercepted by Calvina, now in Bellzelute Brigandy, and they engage in battle. Calvina has already known about Touya's capture and planned to extract that information, but So-Des only bought time until he could re-activate the Larseillum. When the time came, he was so confident of victory that he revealed that he's the true culprit of Ash'ari Kreutzer's destruction and Al-Van just came later and got blamed for it. Unfortunately, he ran out of fuel to do Larseillum and his boasting already put Calvina on the edge that she unloaded the majority of Bellzelute Brigandy's power to him in an attempt to survive, killing him in process.

While the battle was won, it was more or less a Pyrrhic Victory, they couldn't pinpoint where Granteed and Touya were taken, and all Calvina could do, after learning the truth that Al-Van was innocent and her rage blinded her, was just to apologize.

The Pyramid and the Dragon God

The best lead to search for the Fury base lies within the Moon so the group decided to go there. But in the same time, Roar detected a huge Lamalice gathering within the remnants of the Garden of Baral headquarters during the Sealing War, forming a pyramid-like structure. The team decided to split up between going to the Moon and investigating. Ibis notes to both Kusuha and Bullet that there is a chance they may reunite with the missing Irui, so they should take extra caution.

The pyramid was indeed filled with malicious energy generated by the Dark Brain cult under Debudabide, Skull Knight and Crystal Dragoon, who made the site a place to generate energy for Lamalice and gathering remnants of the Garden of Baral to their services. And they didn't even find Irui. So the order was given to destroy the pyramid, but before they could rendezvous, they received a distress call...

The distress call originated from Team Jelba, which is under attack from the Ze Balmary Empire led by Spectra McCready and they have been completely wiped out, leaving only Selena and Albharda. And even then, in their escape attempt, Spectra cut down and killed Albharda, who told Selena not to avenge him. After retreating, in tears, Selena admitted that she couldn't fulfill Albharda's request and instead dedicates her life to avenge him and the rest of the team by confronting Spectra once more and managing to break her mask, revealing a Viletta Vadim-like face as the last sight Selena had before passing out. A pair of Gesterben squad recovered her, followed by the Hagane to cover her escape. Selena was scarred for life, and Yong couldn't help but worry for the well being of her friend during her time at La Gias and Sealing War, and one of them dead.

The other team decided to use Kurogane to travel to the Moon, but first they had to rendezvous with Raul and Fiona in Japan. Fairey chose to no longer stay in the sidelines. She decided to directly help by putting herself into an extra seat of the Super Soulsaber. Likewise, Sieg and Sally receive full permission to deploy as full time pilots. But along the way, Jua-Mu attacks the team and without his Knight rank, he's free to use Larseillum... and at that time, Raul and Fiona arrived with new Excellence frames reborn: The Gunstriker frames. It was exactly what was needed to counter Larseillum. With all preparations complete, the Kurogane departed to the Moon, though they still had to contend with Gleiknr forces who had the backings of Vaught and the Gardisordians who still had their mission to retrieve Fairey and the two, with Fairey voicing her doubts about Hellruga in the first place.

In the Moon, Touya and his companion learnt more about the Fury's true Assimilation plan... which was surprisingly more benevolent than any other assimilation plan, the Fury just needs to look for a new home and assimilate themselves to that new home. The problem is, aside of a few including the leader, Princess Shana-Mia Eterna-Fura, most of the Fury rejected the idea of assimilating with 'lower beings' like Earthlings. Additionally, Touya learned the extent of influence his father had with the Fury and his noble intentions, eventually leading him to fully embrace his Fury heritage and unlocks the new form of his robot: The Granteed Dracodeus. Of course, learning that the spy faction was responsible for killing his father sent him to an Unstoppable Rage that the Kurogane team witnessed, but he managed to calm down and was able to return to Kurogane and the team, also bringing along Shana-Mia who intends to speak to the Earth Federation and make her peaceful intentions come true.

As the team reunite, both Touya and Calvina make peace with their early aggressions. On the other hand, with Shana-Mia no longer with them, command of the Fury fell into head knight Gu-Landon.

Assault on Rubble Pile

From Shana-Mia, it was at least cleared that the Cross Gate referred as Volda's Gate was located near Rubble Pile and the team had to go there to ensure it doesn't cause any trouble. However, it was at this point that it became more clear that despite the cleaning up of the Terra Federation higher ups since the end of the Sealing War, some corrupt element existed. Thankfully, captain Gint learned from the good example of Daitetsu Minase that he's willing to take the risk of punishment for the safety of the crews and so would not be above disobeying orders to do so, and the battles ahead became a wake-up call for Commander Miles Boothroyd to stop being very uptight or he might end up repeating the same mistakes as Lee Linjun.

Along the way, not only they encountered fleeing Balmarian soldiers not wanting to attract too much attention, they meet a Cross Gate and reunite with friends from La Gias: Masaki, Ryune, Shuu and one unexpected enemy-turned-ally: Amara. Shuu made it clear that Amara no longer has hostile intentions towards the Terra Federation since her links with Euzzeth has been severed and she pretty much serves under him the same way as Saphine. Masaki revealed that he was just right after the events of Coffin of the End and was pursuing Yotennai that escaped through the Cross Gate, but since in the last events, the Elemental Lords went to slumber, he compensated with borrowing some technology from his friend, particularly Sakito Asagi and the Raveraid, creating a new power source for Cybuster by harnessing the negative energies of the Cross Gate, but obviously, he shouldn't overuse it too much. For that and other purposes, Yang Long, Tyutti and Mio stayed back in La Gias to observe the Cross Gate in their end. Additionally, the Alles Geist made one final appearance, before eventually being subdued by the Dark Brain Cult.

Eventually, Hellruga finally made his move. After revealing the Rubble Pile, he gathered all of the Gardisordians and the Gleiknr forces to attack the Steel Dragon Battle Group. But with new allies, they were no match for them, and Hellruga's ambition to rule over Gardisord and Earth were crushed, although the usually honorable Vaught ended up being a casualty of war. Fairey, Sieg and Sally released Malm Quisidi from imprisonment and the latter looked forward to resume the peace treaty as planned with Earth, sending the three back to the Steel Dragons Battle Group as representatives. But all of the sudden, the Fury's mothership, Gau-La Fury, made its appearance and shot down Rubble Pile, destroying every of Gardisordians, Malm included, leaving Fairey, Sieg and Sally the last of their kinds.

The end of Fury

The act approved by Gu-Landon was so heinous that the Steel Dragon Battle Group received permission to attack the Gau-La Fury before they do it to Earth. Additionally, Fu-Lu felt really dirty of leaving that act be that she released Al-Van from prison and then faced off the Steel Dragon Battle Group for one final honorable battle that she knew she's not going to make it out alive. One thing Shana-Mia knew was that despite the act, some of the Fury didn't seem to accept her back, considering her someone who turned her back against the Fury and abandoning them.

Jua-Mu mounted the next line of defense, which happened to be next to a place where the majority of Fury people entered a cyrogenic sleep. Al-Van joined the battle, allowing him to fully reconcile with Calvina, but this plunged Jua-Mu into complete madness and he attacked the team completely berserk. However, at the end of his last stand, Jua-Mu still refused to use the sleeping Fury as a meat shield despite his less than honorable position as a spy, fighting to the bitter and sad end.

Awaiting at the throne of the Fury was actually Kalo-Ran, but in the last minutes, turned out Gu-Landon took a few hints from the spy's underhanded tactics and revealed himself to backstab Kalo-Ran in the last minute, taking it to his hands to retrieve Granteed Dracodeus, and it was also revealed that he had a hand in unleashing the Ruina in the Sealing War and why he needed the Granteed Dracodeus. After a harsh, gruelling battle, Touya finally gathered enough guts to deliver on why Gu-Landon would fail, losing sight of what it means to be a Knight, and unlocked the final attack of Granteed Dracodeus to finish him off.

The Final Battle

The destruction of the Fury and the Gardisordians opened a way for the Dark Brain Cult to gather what Lamalice they have and the Baral Garden remnants to the last Cross Gate in hopes to summon Dark Brain again. And in order to do so, they tried to use the Alles Geist as a catalyst, torturing whatever remains of Duvan Org's consciousness. Ariel tried to call out for him, but it seemed to be for naught as the ritual was complete...

And from the Cross Gate, what came out was... a familiar face for Masaki: The Yotennai, or at least its true identity and a nemesis of Fighter Roar: XN-L/Zan-L, also taking out Debudedabide as it came out. It professes its desire to wipe out all life in order to prevent the birth of many negative Emotion Eater like Dark Brain and Perfectio, but the Steel Dragon Battle Group would have none of that... and apparently, so does the survivor of the cult Skull Knight, teaming up with the group for it. They defeated the giant. And it was at this point that Touya knew the real purpose of his Granteed Dracodeus and he executed it ASAP: Using its immense power to cleave the Cross Gate in two.

At the end of the long battle, Shana-Mia opted to leave Earth sphere since she knew that their sins wouldn't be forgotten by the Earthlings. Thankfully, Yong and Mekibos offered them a place near the Zuvorg Empire's space. Calvina, not wanting to separate with Al-Van again, opted to follow him. The remaining Gardisordians had no choice but to permanently immigrate to Earth, but Akimi and Akemi would vouch for them.

Depending on the prowess of the battle, Ariel could have succeeded in saving Duvan's consciousness as he joined the assault against XN-L/Zan-L. If that was the case, both of them opted to enter a cryogenic sleep, otherwise Ariel did so on her own. Kouta also noted that Skull Knight hasn't been seen ever since, but since he was part of the member of the Dark Brain cult and made it clear that his help was just temporary, he resolved to just ready himself to counter him in case he stirred up trouble again. And the destruction of that one Cross Gate means that not only Haken and Aschen lost contact to the Endless Frontier, Masaki also ran to the same problem with La Gias and would have no other power source for the Cybuster until another Cross Gate is found, but even that runs the risk of the negative energies corrupting him. But there's still more than one Cross Gates out there, so the Kurogane took the task to scout for any remaining Cross Gates and keep the threat level in check.

Touya said his good byes to his father's grave in order to help the Fury immigrate to the Zuvorg space, as the rest of the Steel Dragon Battle Group move on to face off any remaining Lamalice that remained. And so closes another chapter of the group of Humongous Mecha defending the Earth, but with the parts of the Ze Balmary Empire they spotted, their next battle may become the greatest one they face...
