General/Running Gags
- Mana's reactions to how small she is compared to the Spirits.
- Rio not remembering important information until after it would of been useful.
- Marina calling Ellen mother, to Ellen's annoyance.
Tohka Return
- Shido's "date" with Sovereign:
- He's guiding her around Tenguu City when she spots a bakery and asks him to one of everything for her to eat. After eating all of it, she then says she will buy one of every edible item they come across making him wonder what will end up killing him; her anger or his embarrassment.
- Shido ends up taking her to the arcade, but she ends up breaking multiple machines while playing them.Shido: [panicking] WILL YOU PLEASE STOP THAT!?
Sovereign: [completely honest] Why?
Origami Unchained
- During the introductions on the Fraxinus:
- After Reine introduces herself as one of the founders of Ratatoskr, Kotori has a question that she, Mana, Shido, and Tohka are all wondering:
- Then Maria Arusu introduces herself and says if they want to reach her then use the link on their phones she just added to their worry.
- Then when talking about Shido's ability to seal the Spirit's power he mentions about the mysterious voice that helped him during fight.
- Ai, Mai, and Mii take Tohka to a restaurant and the three of them notice that Tohka is only eating a salad. When Mii asks if something happened to her and Shido:
- Tohka is upset that Shido didn't tell her that he needs to kiss spirits in order to seal them. He gets her to calm down by promising to buy her all of her favorite foods only to realize after she leaves that she knew the whole time and just tricked him.
Yoshino Duality
- Right as Tohka is on the verge of a breakdown due to there not being any Kinako Bread in any of the bakeries, Kannazuki comes in saying he bought all of the Kinako Bread in town to Maria's annoyance.
- Shido arrived home and goes to take a shower, not knowing that Origami is already using it. She ends up hitting him hard and tries to cover herself with her towel but doesn't to a good job causing both of them to scream all across the house.Origami: Shido saw my breasts, he, he saw them. I can't get married anymore. I've been shamed.
Kotori: Will you stop exaggerating, you're in Shido's harem so why does it matter if he saw your boobs?
Kotori Possessed
- Katie approaches Ryouko to tell her about orders that they have revived from Reine. Ryouko isn't happy to hear it until Katie tells her that the AST are heading to Ocean Park for the weekend to relax and want to know if she would want to go. This makes Ryouko very happy, to the point that she says that she will try to get Katie a double rank promotion for this to Katie's confusion.
- Shido's experience while the girls are swimsuit shopping:
- Shido asks Reine if there was another way of dealing with the stares he is getting.Reine: There is one. Dress up as a girl, then being a guy in the store isn't a problem and yet the girls will still know who you are.
Shido: Pass, I'm not doing that unless we somehow get a Spirit who's into girls, and I know the chance of that happening is likely never.
Mio: For some reason, I get the feeling he just jinxed himself there. - Then the girls decide to have a swimsuit modeling contest for him. The winner ends up being Yoshino, who is having a little bit of trouble putting on her suit. Reine ends up making good money off of it.
- Shido asks Reine if there was another way of dealing with the stares he is getting.
- Shido and company get into the Sleipnir to try to find Kotori when Tohka decides she is going to be the driver. Much screaming ensues.
- During the fight with the Hydra Tohka says they need to avoid striking the heads to prevent it from growing more heads. Unfortunately her having a sword makes that easier said then done.
- Yoshinon decides to comment on Kotori's Love Confession to Shido.Yoshinon: And that makes Kotori harem girl number 4, congrats! So, when are they gonna-
Yoshino: [While Covering Yoshinon's Mouth] Don't ruin the moment, OK?
Kurumi Fallacy
- Kurumi is talking to Phantom about looking around for Shido and wants Phantom to use their power for help to disguise herself.Kurumi: Have a reference I can borrow in that disguise repertoire of yours?
Phantom: I keep telling you it isn't a disguise, it's just focused mana as a... oh what's the point you'll ignore me. [Transforms into Kurumi] This should do. - There are several moments while Shido gives Kurumi a tour of Razen:
- While Kotori and Origami are tailing them, Kotori asks Origami what she thinks about Kurumi.Origami: W-well, I dunno, but it seems like she's a boat flowing on the river Shido's making, just going with him and not choosing what path to take herself.
[Kotori looks at Origami]
Origami: S-sorry, I make metaphors when I'm nervous! - Shido is given the suggestion to ask Kurumi to show him her panties in an attempt to fluster her only for her to agree to everyone's shock.
- Then when Kotori and Origami show up to stop her from doing so. Korori, with a hint of jelousy towards Kurumi for being so close to Shido, says that it's against the rules for students to hold hands which Kurumi tries to pass of by claiming to be anemic and needing his help to stay up. Korori fires back by claiming that she anemic too, then Origami, nervous as hell about what's happening, ends up saying that her anemone is kicking in.Shido: [Face Palm] Origami, they said their 'anemia', not sea anemone.
- While Kotori and Origami are tailing them, Kotori asks Origami what she thinks about Kurumi.
- After realizing that he is having a date with Tohka, Origami, Kotori, and Kurimi all on the same day, Shido says out loud if Yoshino is going to ask for a date too. Cue his phone ringing.Mio: I could have told you that would jinx it, but you didn't give me the chance so... sorry. I'm gonna go sleep and ignore your little harem drama this time.
Shido: Hey Yoshino, yes to whatever you're about to tell me.
Yoshino: Really? OK, I'll see you at the Station Gate by 12 PM, OK?- Then he wonders if he or Mana is more heated right now, cut to Mana sneezing wondering where that came from.
- Phantom notices that Kurumi coming over to where Phantom and Watcher happens to be and Phantom needs to disguise Watcher. So what does Phantom choose as a disguise for Watcher?Watcher: [Confused] A teddy bear?
Phantom: I'm only a young child, it's the most believable thing I could think of this quickly!- Then when Kurumi notices and asks about the bear.Phantom: I'm allowed to act my age on occasion, right?
Kurumi: [Thinking] How do I answer that without sounding so wrong with how I say it?
- Then when Kurumi notices and asks about the bear.
- Shido's Five Way Date:
- Shido and Tohka head to the aquarium, with Shido needing to tell Tohka that the fish there are not to be eaten.
- When Shido suggests that they go do some lingerie shopping, Kurumi starts thinking to herself that maybe she shouldn't have tried to show him her panties.
- Origami ends up showing the meeting place up an hour early, then some birds decide to land on her. By the time Shido meets up with her she is doing an impersonation of a stone statue with multiple birds perched on her.
- Shido takes Kurumi over to a pet shop and Kurumi just melts at the sight of the kittens that are there.
- Then it ends with Tohka, Origami, Kotori, and Yoshino all bumping into one anotherEveryone: Huh? Why are you here!? Because I'm on a date with Shido!
- Westcott brings in the Deus in order to attack Shido and company. It is immediately pointed out that it a literal Deus ex Machina to Westcott's embarrassment and Marina's annoyance.Marina: You come up with a bunch of machines based of various creatures that fit their name perfectly, and then our enemy tells you that your best machine trips up because its name references the whole company, by complete accident?
- Rio note looking over the battle as Mayuri note is recharging her power.Mayuri: Shido, Mana and the others? You know some pretty great people Rio. Glad it's something we can be a part of as well.
Rio: What do you expect, that's Rio's big brother and big sister for you.
Mayuri: Yeah, they're... [Realizes What Was Just Said] Wait, they're your Brother and Sister! Why didn't you tell me that before just now!?
Rio: [Blinks] Rio forgot!
Rinne Utopia
- Saya notices that Reine's Exhausted Eye Bags are starting to fade and wonders if it's because she's is finally able to sleep. Rinne shows up to say that no, they weren't caused by Reine's inability to sleep, it was because of her crying every night much to Reine's embarrassment.
- Kurumi summons the Nibellcole, clones of her that she made before she was captured by DEM, all dressed in exotic outfits. Mana has one question for Kurumi when she sees them.Mana: Why are they all dressed like that?
Kurumi: Uh, I may have been really into anime and cosplay at the time I made them?
Date AST Re:Strike
- After a sparring match with Kotori, Tohka asks her for her thoughts on how she did. Kotori wastes no time telling Tohka that she has the strength but not the skills. Then Origami follows up by mentioning when they fought one another in their Inverse states, Tohka just flailed and slashed her sword around, making Tonka feel like she has been pierced by the words Muscle Head.
- Rinne shows up at the Ratatoskr base, only for no one to recognize her. As she's trying to convince them that she isn't an enemy, Shido and Mana show up and spot her.
- As Ratatoskr is wondering about what is happening to Yoshinon, Rinne thinking that she might have an idea about what's going on, asks Yoshino a question.
Natsumi Inverse/Refresh
- Reine is relaxing at the base when all of a sudden a scream is heard. Reine ends up face palming when she finds out that it's from Mana seeing that Yoshino, due to Yoshinon's "death", now looks her actual age.
- Reine asks why Mana is so upset, Mana's response?Mana: Why is every Spirit busty but me?
- Then Rinne comes in mentions that she remembers most of the Spirits back in the Spirit Dimension had large breasts and says that it's likely that unless Mana happens to be a late bloomer that being a Half Spirit means that she's probably not going to get any bigger.
- Reine asks why Mana is so upset, Mana's response?
- Natsumi gives Shido a hug when she figures out that he came to see her and is not an enemy.Shido: U-Uh yeah, and just to be clear you know my face is touching your boobs, right?
Natsumi: Yes, yes I do. What about it? What's with you boys and thinking every girl hits you for touching their boobs? That's so dumb! - Tohka slaps Shido to get him to calm down and not panic about the game Natsumi is making him play, only to remember after seeing how red his face is how strong she is.
- Rinne asks Tohka what she was thinking when she ran off after Natsumi when Natsumi turned all of the Spirits (except for her and Rio) into children. Tohka's response:Tohka: Rinne, you do remember I'm only mentally 7 due to Rio's stasis field, right? I only got physically younger.
Rinne: [Goes White in Shock]
Tohka: Is that a no? - Natsumi is told that Shido is able to seal Spirits and wants to know how. When she is told that it requires falling in love with him and kissing him, her Big "WHAT?!" is so loud that it was heard at Raizen High above the base.
- The group confusion of Natsumi's claims that her child form is ugly.
- Kurumi actually thinks she's looks cute, as for Mana...
- Then Yoshino says that Natsumi is so adorable that she would be willing to marry Natsumi if she was a boy, to her embarrassment.
Yamai Clash
- Chinami keeps ending up running afoul of Ai, Mai, and Mii's antics every time she tries to go after the spirits.
- First, they crowd around her asking questions about her camera.
- Then, Chinami gets hit by a stray pillow from a pillow fight they are having.
- Lastly, she ends up stepping into a pitfall they made that they follow up by leaving her buried in the sand up to her neck.
- The group sees Yuzuru and Kaguya's confrontation when Kurumi makes an observation about Kaguya manner of speaking:
- Shido's time at the Hot Springs with the Yamai Sisters:
- It begins with both of them being really clingy to Shido and when Rinne notices the look on his face:Rinne: Shido, don't you dare let your-
Shido: Mom, if you finish that sentence then I'm not making your favorite breakfast ever again! - Then the two of them try to flirt with him, badly. Which then turns into an arguement between the two of them that gets so heated that they forget that Shido's still there.
- Then Tohka comes into the hot spring and sees Shido causing her to scream. Rinne is confused on why Tohka is here and asks if she looked at the list because the spring was reserved:Tohka: I did! My name was on it, but Shido's wasn't!
Rinne: What? And how did that happen!?
[Cut to Natsumi Snickering] - Then Shido, realizing what's about to happen when the others show up, tries to escape. But, before he is able to leave, the rest of the girls come in.Rinne: [Knowing What's About to Happen] Three, two, one...
The Girls: [Screaming Loud Enough To Be Heard Across the Island]
Reine: I don't even wanna know.
- It begins with both of them being really clingy to Shido and when Rinne notices the look on his face:
- Ellen charges towards Tohka to finish her off and ends up stepping into a pit trap that Ai, Mai, and Mii made causing Ellen to fall in and knocking her out cold.Tohka: Well, that's one way to beat Ellen.
- Mayuri is confused about why Shido's classmates are so angry at him. Rinne says that there are jealous, while Rio adds it because he has a harem, not realizing that was not the best thing to say. Luckily for Shido, a waxed floor prevents him from being attacked.
Nia Test
- Yuzuru and Kaguya are surprised by what kind of appetite Tohka has.Yuzuru: [While looking over Tohka] Where does she put it all? [Sees Tohka's chest] Never mind, I think I know.
- Then Reine tries to whisper to the Yamai sisters to be careful about mentioning chest sizes in front of Mana only for Mana to tell her that she can hear her.
- Ten-Oh Festival Preparations:
- Shido gets voted as the organizer for the festival as revenge from his classmates. Nastumi turns it around by thanking them for giving Shido the opportunity to be with the girls alone to help with the planning.
- While explaining the Ten-Oh Festival to the spirits, Hiroto Tonomachi mentions that Miku Izayoi goes to one of the schools that are part of the festival. Shido has no idea who she is and Hirito asks him how does he not know of her.
- Hiroto then says to Shido that if he can find another non-spirit who doesn't know who she is, he will "kneel over and eat spaghetti while doing a headstand". As soon as he finishes speaking Saya (who is not a spirit) turns over to Kurumi and asks, "Who is Miku?" to Hiroto's shock and Mana's laughter.
- Mana is a fan of the manga Silver Bullet, which Nia is the author of, this causes several great moments from her:
- Mana tries to get Nia to give her spoilers of future events, which Nia shoots down completely.
- When Nia invites Shido to an event that she is going to be at, saying that maybe she'll give them an exclusive gift for coming, Mana immediately grabs Shido to tell him to accept the offer.
- When they show up to the event, Shido has to grab hold of Mana for fear that she would end up tackling Nia.
- Then when she meets up with the others, she's in a complete daze. This makes Mayuri asks the others if Mana is going to say that she wants to marry Nia.
- Despite the seriousness of the situation, how Nia decides to test if Shido is ready to seal her is humorous. She ends up using Raziel to have him trip on a piece of paper and see if he ends up accidentally kissing her from it.
Miku Fantasia
- The Ratatoskr Mission Plan for Miku:
- Maria is looking for information on Miku to try to figure out what caused her reaction to Shido. Right as Maria asks Mana to look away when they pull up Miku's listed measurements, not only does Mana see the measurements, she then exclaims that she (somehow) knows what Nia's actual measurements are!Reine: OK, I'm now starting to get very worried that my niece just seems to know this information.
- Then they find footage that makes it clear that Miku Does Not Like Men, but is very receptive to females. Rinne remembers that Shido thought it would be unlikely he would need to meet a Spirit who was into girls much to his displeasure.
- Knowing that having Shido cross dress wouldn't work because Miku would recognize his voice, Natsumi turns him into a girl to allow him to get close to her. Unfortunately for Mana, Shiori (Shido's female form) is just as stacked as the other Spirits and when she asks if Natsumi did that as a joke:Natsumi: Uh, nope. If I transform someone into the other gender or shift their age, they transform into how they would actually look like in such a form. If Shido was born a girl, that's her true size.
Mana: [Starts Crying]
Natsumi: Hey, if I could even make you feel big for a moment I'd do it but it ain't my call.
Mana: [Cries Even Louder]
- Maria is looking for information on Miku to try to figure out what caused her reaction to Shido. Right as Maria asks Mana to look away when they pull up Miku's listed measurements, not only does Mana see the measurements, she then exclaims that she (somehow) knows what Nia's actual measurements are!
- Shiori is at Tenguu Square and bumps into Miku, when Miku asks for her name:Shiori: Uh, I forgot.
Maria: YOU FORGOT!?
Shiori: [Trying to Save Herself] I freeze up when I get nervous! Sorry!
Miku: [Giggling] There's no need for you to be nervous around me, although it does make you irresistibly cute. - Right as the group is about to go on stage for their musical performance Origami, their lead singer, remembers something important:Origami: I'm sorry, but I think I may have, sort of, kind of neglected to mention that, I have terrible stage fright!
- Then after Tohka's quick thinking saves their musical performance, Shiori asks why Tohka didn't mention that she could sing.
- Nia's reason for helping the group save Shido and stop his inversion?Nia: This is my home too, and I'd like to keep making my manga series. I ain't a fan of the world being destroyed.
- Natsumi and Kurumi are at Miku's place looking for a clue about her past when Natsumi finds one of Miku's bras. Natsumi shows it to Kurumi mentioning that it is big enough to cover her face. Kurumi can only scream at Natsumi to stop goofing around and help her.
Choronzon Havoc
- Nia states that Shido is in England. Tohka's response is to immediately take off without waiting for the others. Right when she arrives, the others show up thanks to Nia.Tohka: Wait, what the? How'd you... aw man, I took the long way, didn't I?
- During the fight with a Rinne Copy made by Chronozon, Mayuri has a flashback to her being created. What does Mildred say while doing her work on Mayuri?Mildred: OK, first official work as a DEM mechanic, no pressure Mildred. Just the possibility you're going to accidentally kill someone before they're born in a physical form. Why'd I tell myself that, I gave myself nerves instead of calming them!
- Rinne and Rio find Mayuri and notice that she now has a complete Sephria Crystal in her, thanks to a gift from Mildred. Rinne also happens to notice that Mana is not going to be happy when she sees Mayuri next time they meet.
- And then there is Rio's reaction to the news:Rio: Yay, Mayuri's more like Rio and the rest now! [Registers What Was Said] Wait, Mildred created Mayuri? So, Mildred is Mayuri's... Mama? Sister? Family? Something else?
[Cut to Mildred Sneezing]
Rinne: Uh, let's go with creator Rio, I think artificial life forms are only related to the people who make them when they share genetics. I think.
- And then there is Rio's reaction to the news:
- Tohka is having trouble fighting her Inverse copy with it claiming that Tohka seems to be fighting while wearing heels. Tohka's response is to point out her Astral Dress doesn't have heels.
- Marina is working with the other Spirits in fighting Choronzon but is being a jerk while doing so, which gets her slapped by Natsumi and Rinne saying that none of them trust her.Maria: Well, I trust her.
[Everyone gives a blank look at Maria]
Mayuri: Maria, I think we might need to have a talk with you when this is all over.
Maria: [Confused] - What is Inverse Yoshino's reaction to seeing Yoshino angry, to the point of her creating steam with Zadkiel, after tricking Yoshino into thinking that she was Yoshinon despite Yoshinon truly being gone?Inverse Yoshino: OK, maybe I ended up saying a bit too much.
- After Miku sings her song she thanks Shido by calling him darling. The reaction of the group says it all:Shido: [White in Shock]
Kaguya: [Shocked] She didn't!
Yuzuru: I believe she just did.
Natsumi: You're so popular, aren't you?
Kotori: W-w-whoa...
Yoshino: Darling?
Origami: Uh...
Kurumi: [Blushing] Miku, you are the bravest woman I know right now.
Tohka: [Annoyed] Miku...
Shido: [Thinking] Well, at least there's only two Spirits left and I know how one of them acts.
Ars Install
- When Westcott and the crew of the Arbitel realize that they are still alive after being swallowed by Choronzon's Black Hole:Jessica: I think, my life flashed before my eyes. It looked a lot like pickle relish for some reason.
- Marina chews out Westcott for not updating her back-up body, leaving it in a weakened state against the Spirits. After she leaves, Chinami asks a question she really shouldn't have said out loud:
- The scene at Ratatoskr base:
- While meeting Kotori’s parents; Haruko, Kotori's mom, tells her that they heard that she's a Spirit and asks how many fires she has ended up causing. Everyone, knowing that Kotori was the reason for Tenguu Fire, try to dodge the subject to little avail.
- A Heartwarming reunion between Tohka and her parents get's derailed when Riene realizes something.Riene: Wait... Sakura, did you and Ren know Rinne was Shido and Mana's mother all along? Why didn't you tell me!? That would have solved a lot of problems a long time ago.
Sakura & Ren: We forgot.
Everyone: [Thinking] They've as naive as their daughter! - Then when Rinne says that she and Rio are going to go look to see if there where any leftover effects from Choronzon's defeat and they will be back in November:Mayuri: Aw man, but what about Halloween- [remembers what happened the last time that Rinne had too much sugar] Feel free to take as long as you'd like.
- When the group enters the virtual reality realm for training, Shido is turned into Shiori and asks why that happened.Maria: Hmm... well considering most people who use the training field are female and Spirits, and the fact you're half Spirit, the system detecting you having spirit power probably caused you to manifest here as Shiori. Sorry, but I don't think I can do anything.
Shiori: Oh come on, really!?
Mana: [Falls on the Floor in Laughter] - After Tohka tries and fails to summon her Astral Dress when Marina takes over the VR systems and asks Maria why that is:Maria: Well... the classes I gave you to train under may have been set so you couldn't use your powers by accident, and by extension locked away due to Marina having authority that makes my actions conflict with hers. That's not a problem, right?
[Everyone Stares at Her]
Maria: I'm not helping, am I? - After Tohka hits the Jabberwocky that was attacking Shiori so hard that it explodes, causing the other Jabberwockies to take a step back in fear. When Shiori asks Tohka if she wants to do the same with the other machines, the look she gives causes them to start running for the hills to get away from her.
Rio Reincarnation
- After hearing how Thanksgiving becoming a global holiday due to the Spacequakes, Rinne hangs her head in shame for her part in causing the Spacequakes. Kurumi comments that maybe they should stop that before Rinne ends up needing therapy.Rinne: No, don't worry Kurumi. I'm fine, plus I'm basically a god by your world's standards so I'd likely make the therapist need a therapist.
- The Spirits' search for Rio has several moments:
- Tohka passes by a restaurant and is immediately distracted by it to buy food.
- Origami does flips to look in the sky, unknowingly passing by Mildred and Mikie.Mikie: Do you think we should tell her that was odd to do in public?
Mildred: I doubt we'd match a Spirit's running speed. - Kaguya and Yuzuru go in separate directions and get incredibly lost.
- Mayuri somehow ends up back at Takamiya house while searching for Rio.
- Shido asks if Rinne saw anything that could make Rio run away.Rinne: Shido, if I knew I would have said that when I realized she ran away.
Shido: Good point.
- Rinne, Shido, and Mana find that Maria survived and is alive, but right before it can turn into a teary reunion:Mana: NO! Not you too, my god! Why universe, why did you revive her AND make her breasts grow to 89cm! Why won't you give me boobs too!?
Maria: [Sweat Drop] S-Sorry Mana, if it helps I didn't ask for it. - Rio shows up at the Ratatoskr classroom now looking like she's fourteen instead of five. Mana reacts with a Head Desk, Shido wonders if Rio chose that look on purpose, and Hiroto faints from how cute Rio looks and acts.Ai: [About Hiroto] Is he still alive?
Shido Countdown
- After Westcott betrayal of her, Marina has started calling him "Boycott" to Natsumi's amusement.
- Rio gets her own phone and decides to have her first call be Shido and leaves the room to make the call, only to come right back because she doesn't know how to make a call.
- Shido and Mana are doing some shopping when they run unto Nia. Nia notices that they are alone and decides to have some fun with Shido by asking why they are out here and not with his harem to Shido and Mana's embarrassment.
- Mana wakes up on the morning of her birthday with a scream, waking everyone up and causing Rinne to come running to see what happened. When Shido asks Rinne what happened:
- Reine asks the Spirits how they see Shido's ability to seal their power:Tohka: He kisses a Spirit and drains our power out like a mosquito drinking blood!
Marina: [Turning Red] That's how it works!?
Reine: [Nervous Chuckle] Uh, unique choice of words there Tohka. - After a meeting with Reine where they are told that all of the Spirits (including Mana) except for Mayuri need to kiss Shido to stop his power from going out of control and killing him.Reine: The sooner we do this, the sooner we can we can all act like it never happened. Agreed?
Everyone: Agreed. - Nia's reaction to seeing that her actions with Raziel, meant to be a test of their seriousness in finding Mukuro, is causing Shido to flirt with any female he sees, thinking that they are a Spirit?Nia: Uh...
Raziel: ...Oops - Shido presents to the Spirits the idea making him fall in love with them. The Spirits, not having the time to deal with that, attempt to just grab him and just kiss him, only for him to use the power Kurumi's clones and Natsumi's shape shifting to make a bunch of Shiori clones, to Miku's delight, before running away.
- Chinami's reaction to seeing Shido firing off a version of Rinne's Harmonic Convergence?Chinami: Yeah, I'm totally not gonna bother with this today. I'm just gonna keep finding the remaining DEM loyalists.
- During the attempt to help Shido, Origami ends up getting drunk on soda.
- Rinne asks Tohka how she plans on wooing Shido.Tohka: Of course, it's quite simple... Shido and I fell in love when we first met, that's all I need to do!
Nia Storybook
- Shido wakes up in Nia's story world as Shiori, and is just annoyed by it.
- When Mana shows up to save Shiori, Yoshino, and Tohka from the Yamata no Orochi:Mana: Oh, hey big br-wait, you're Shiori again?
Shiori: [Pointing towards Orochi] Bigger issues Mana. - Kaguya and Yuzuru end up coming across Kotori, forced into the role of The Little Match Girl, on the verge of death. Panicking, they slap her awake, but end up going overboard to the point that Kotori's face is swollen. When Kotori asks how bad it is, they refuse to answer.
- Then when they meet up with Natsumi, Mayuri, Rinne and Kurumi, Mayuri ends up showing Kotori the result.Kotori: Kaguya! Yuzuru! What did you do to my face!?
- Then when they meet up with Natsumi, Mayuri, Rinne and Kurumi, Mayuri ends up showing Kotori the result.
- Kaguya, Yuzuru, and Kotori find Maria and Marina. As the they are talking to one another about what they have dealt with in Nia's story world with Marina not saying anything during it. As the group turn to Marina impressed that she has been able to keep calm with everything that's been going on:Marina: GET ME OUT OF HERE! GET ME OUT, I NEED TO GET OUT! I CAN'T TAKE THIS MADNESS ANYMORE! GET ME OUT, GET ME OUT, GET ME OUT!
Maria: She snapped.
Kotori: Well, I give her kudos for holding out this long. - The group finds Origami as the ruler of a castle covering herself in her cape. When Rinne asks why Origami is covering herself, she refuses to answer while being red in the face. It is only when Rinne forces the cape open that they realize that she is the king from The Emperor's New Clothes.Origami: Someone please give me clothes.
- Nia summons a bunch of adversaries to attack the group including the well from Jack & Jill!Marina: Hold up, how the hell is that well moving!? I call an ass pull here!
Maria: Uh... sis, you do realize Nia can do that with anything in this world, right?
Marina: [Twitchy Eye] I give up!
Mukuro Space
- The group is at a shrine when for the new year when they bump into Tamae, who is upset that she is thirty years old and hasn't found a fiancé yet. When Rinne asks why Tamae hasn't found her true love yet:Nia: The heart is a mysterious thing Rinne, enough that it is more unpredictable than any weather pattern.
Tamae: [While Crying] I wish a meteor would fall on me right now and just end my misery!
Nia: [In Shock] And that's just extreme! - Shido wakes up after collapsing after his meeting with Mukuro and sees Reine is looking over his vitals. When he asks if she's also a doctor.Reine: Actually no. Well, now that I think about it. I can play the violin at a professional level, act as a foreign translator, land a royal aircraft, and the official medical officer here on the Fraxinus even states that I conduct medical treatment better than he can.
Shido: How are you not a doctor if you can do all of that!? Especially the last one!
Mukuro Quasar
- Shido wakes up after his battle with Mukuro and is given a kiss by Tohka, which causes the others to start fighting one another to kiss him until Marina knocks all of them on the head to get them to stop.Marina: Oh good, I wanted an excuse to hit something. All ten of you are morons! Don't roughhouse around Shido while he's recovering unless you want him in here longer!
Maria: Uh Marina, I think that was too hard. You aren't a sadist, are you?
Marina: Oh no worries there, I'm only a sadist when it comes to Boycott and all his cronies in the DEM. I hate him so badly that it is so satisfying to hurt them.
Maria: [Thinking] I am officially worried about her future now! - Nia, as a joke, says to Shido that she can help him recover by having him rub her breasts. this backfires when Miku asks if that's true and wants to do so with her.
- Muruko's behavor once her emotions have been unsealed
- Seeing how Mukuro is acting reminds the group of someone:Rio: Uh, anyone feel like we're talking to a Tohka 2.0 here?
Tohka: [Color Failure] Huh!? - When Muruko mentions that she accepts the offer he had made, which had done as a test of her emotional abilities, to have her be his obedient slave, Reine ends up having a Spit Take and the others start panicking until Natsumi of all people, tells Muruko that that the offer was a misunderstanding.
- Then Muruko starts laughing about it.Miku: Oh my, she's even more naive than you are Tohka.
Tohka: Hey!
- Seeing how Mukuro is acting reminds the group of someone:
- Then after Muruko leaves all of the Sephira Spirits end up wanting to sleep with him in his bed. When he looks towards Mana and the other Spirits for help?Mana: Sorry Shido, but they're all the girls in your harem. You worry them, and you terrify them, you've gotta be the one to comfort them. Enjoy that nap. [Leaves with the other Spirits]
Shido: [Begging] Wait, don't leave me by myself! Guys! - Shido's Date with Muruko has several:
- It begins with Shido telling Muruko that she can't go around wearing her Astral Dress, so she dispels it leaving her naked. When Shido asks Michael why Muruko isn't using her ability to change how her Astral Dress looks:Michael: Uh, would you get mad if I told you that due to Mukuro mastering her powers in isolation, she never learned some of the more casual abilities like that one?
- Then when her stomach growls, she tries to say that she isn't hungry.
- It begins with Shido telling Muruko that she can't go around wearing her Astral Dress, so she dispels it leaving her naked. When Shido asks Michael why Muruko isn't using her ability to change how her Astral Dress looks:
- Muruko's sealing of people's memories of Shido oddly have a few:
- Reine says to Mana and Rinne that Mana is an only child. Rinne does not take it well:Rinne:I know the son I gave birth to very well Reine, he was the first child I ever gave birth to. Saying I don't have a son? I'm not sure what you've been smoking to suddenly say I never had Shido and act like he doesn't exist, but say that again and I will strangle you!
Reine: [Terrified] Uh... you know what, I think I'll come back later when you stop making me feel like I'll wet myself in fear, yeah! See all later, bye! - Right before Tohka and Muruko start a fight with one another, Rinne gets in the middle of them making Tohka, Muruko, and their Angels terrified.Michael: I-Is that you F-First Spirit?
Sandalphon: Oh yeah, so shut up and listen if you wanna live! - Then when Rinne sees that Tohka and Muruko still want to fight another:Rinne: Since you two seem to want to fight and your reasons oppose one another, then we'll fight like this... the fight is to get Shido to kiss them first!
Tohka & Muruko: Eh?
Everyone Else: WHAT?!
- Reine says to Mana and Rinne that Mana is an only child. Rinne does not take it well:
- Chinami finds out about Rinne's plan to have Shido seal Muruko and tries to figure out how to use it to her advantage, only to distracted by store selling hot chocolate.
Sephira Fury
- Siego asks Rinne what the heck has happened to Tenguu City, when she explains that it was caused by an inverted Spirit:Siego: Is she a golden-blonde, wears a pink qipao dress, and holds a giant staff shaped like a key?
Rinne: [In Shock]
Siego: What? Before my soul broke apart, I told my son I had visions of the Spirits he'd meet, and that's the only one I didn't see when I helped Tohka save him a few months back.
Rinne: OK, let's go with this. - Tohka's fight with the Inverse Spirits:
- Inverse Yoshino demands that Tohka stay still and quit dodging.Tohka: So, you want me to attack you, OK!
Inverse Yoshino: [Remembers that Tohka is able to attack from a distance] W-Wait a second, I take it back, you don't have to-
Tohka: GANDIVA! - Then Inverse Kurumi ends up getting into an argument with her Demon King when she is unable to use it to stop Tohka from undoing Miku and Nia's Inversions:Inverse Kurumi: Lucifuge, you are completely useless!
Lucifuge: Shut your trap, you whinny little princess!
AST Force: [Sweat Drop]
Ashley: Seriously, is she arguing with her Demon King?
- Inverse Yoshino demands that Tohka stay still and quit dodging.
- With Mio note needing to be out on the field with the other Spirits, Ratatoskr needs a new commander:
- Maria suggests that Kyouhei, but both he and Mio say no due to his perverted nature.
- Marina then comes up with the idea of spraying a concoction of multiple spices into everyone's nose and whoever is able to stand it will be the commander. Rinne immediately hits her in the back of the head for suggesting it.Rinne: Marina, I am very concerned about your future.
Mayuri Judgment
- All throughout, Mio denies having feeling for Shido, but no one believes her.
- While at the water park Natsumi asks Muruko to show her swimsuit to Shido. When she refuses because she thinks it makes her look stupid, Shido tells her that she'll look fine. Once she does show it Shido ends up with a Nosebleed.Muruko: Is that good or bad?
- As Ratatoskr is discussing the sphere that only Mayuri seems to be able to see and how to deal with it, Marina sees sees the cause of it.Marina: The answer's in such plan sight, its damn embarrassing you don't see it. For it to be emotions, it's gotta be related to the one feeling I bet all of you share since you're in Shido's little harem.
Mio: I'm not in his harem!
Marina: [Ignoring Mio] This stuff's all the jealousy you give off unconsciously. - Rinne wonders how to get rid of it, Rio suggests hitting like a baseball.Rinne: Sorry sweetie, but I don't think it'll be that easy.
- During Shido's date with Miku, she comments that she can't really be seen in public with Shido due to her being an idol. Shido mentions that he could turn into Shiori, but when he mentions doesn't have any spare clothes to wear as her, Miku tells him that she brought a spare set of clothes to wear.Shido: [Thinking] Why do I suddenly feel like she actually planned for this to happen?
- While on a date with Origami, she asks Shido to buy her a necklace that she found at a 100 Yen store.Shido: Sure thing, I guess you want it as a date memento from me?
Origami: That's one half of why.
Shido: [Blinking] And... the other half?
Origami: [Blushing] I... didn't bring any yen with me.
