"I've resolved to play the song that ends the world."
— Who, Indeed?, "Session 1 of TERMINATING THE WORLD"
Have you ever messed with one of those silly 12-character memes and gotten a "what if character X got character Y pregnant?" question, and then wondered what would have happened if that child was actually born?
Well. Don't worry about it, a lot of things have changed. Maybe too many things.
Do you think that the world can ever be fixed?
Run by TeamKarasu.
Deadly Mistakes: The Scripted City includes examples of:
- Catastrophic Countdown: The first session involved a bomb being planted in a mall, and all exits being sealed. The group had roughly an hour to find a way to unlock the main entryway and get everyone out in-time.
- Character Development: This is a major theme of both this roleplay and its origin roleplay.
- Comically Missing the Point: Hitomi, when presented with the blind box puzzle from Session 1 of TERMINATING THE WORLD.
- "Oh, bugger my ass, someone's in a blind box." - Hitomi
- Crack Ship: Vidi/Frank
- Critical Failure: As it's a tabletop game, these are plentiful.
- "rowan immediately sticks a bag of jelly beans, up his ass" - Kara, the Dungeon Master, after Rowan rolled a 1.
- Four-Philosophy Ensemble:
- The iterations of the roleplay itself.
- Cynic: ‘Nam
- Optimist: Deadly Mistakes
- Apathetic: Nu-DM, an iteration that fell apart almost instantly due to group tension
- Realist: The Scripted City
- The iterations of the roleplay itself.
- Four-Temperament Ensemble:
- Among the main cast, we have:
- Sanguine: Yuuka, Hitomi
- Melancholic: Nan, Cecil, Vidi
- Phlegmatic: Ansel, Jac, The Professor
- Choleric: Kainashi, The Master II
- Among the main cast, we have:
- Enemy Without: The Mirror Selves, if they can't be tamed into cooperating with you. They can be your best friend, or your worst enemy, depending on how conflicted and troubled you are inside.
- Have We Met?: Rowan and Kainashi can't shake the feeling that they've seen each other somewhere before...
- Hidden Depths: Vidi figures the mysterious demolitions expert has this, judging by the puzzles she and the party found strewn about the mall.
- Ridiculously Average Guy: A running joke regarding Rowan.
- “Am I the only one here who just has legs?” - Rowan himself.
- "haha dude can't even teleport or divine blind bags" - Arin, Cecil's rper.
- Sidetrack Bonus: Session 1 involved checking in on an anime store for a brief puzzle. The group thankfully also had enough time to destroy all of the awful* manga and anime they found in the store.
- Sorting Algorithm of Evil:
- First, there's Nan, a terrorist who blew up a mini-mall, after... Waiting for everyone to evacuate it. Hm.
- Next up, Wren deSadar, [WIP]
- Soul-Sucking Retail Job: Frank, an NPC who is the center of a puzzle, is subjected to one. He's terrified of the bomb, yes, but he can't bring himself to leave his post of his own accord and barely holds back on crying joyfully after Vidi carries him out to safety.
- Ragtag Bunch of Misfits
- Urban Fantasy
- Villains Act, Heroes React
- World of Badass: The existence of Mistakes is more or less accepted, the only group of them that faces any real danger are Supers, who tend to stay quiet out of fear of being experimented on or used somehow by those in power above them.

Characters
Yuuka Kralie
Daughter of Alex Kralie and a college-aged Mami Tomoe. Played by Kara, the GM.- Badass Adorable: Given that she was willing to stay in the mall as long as she did, when it was going to explode, just to save her best friend, this trope applies.
- Big Eater
- Color-Coded Characters: Seafoam green.
- Four-Temperament Ensemble: Sanguine.
- Magical Girl
- Magical Girl Genre Deconstruction: But are you ready for something far worse? ... Deconstructed.
- Ripple-Effect-Proof Memory: Averted, she doesn't seem to know any of the Mistakes.
- Technicolor Eyes: A medium turquoise.
Kainashi Namine
Son of Ritsu Namine and an adult Sabitsuki. Played by Kara, the GM.- Acid-Trip Dimension: His dreams, though quite a bit more coherent than his mother's.
- Action Survivor: He's one of the few rare Mistakes with no magical powers or extraordinary fighting abilities.
- Dark and Troubled Past: Well, he knows he's got one, but here's the thing - he remembers very little of it.
- Four-Temperament Ensemble: Choleric.
- Hollywood Autism: Purposely averted. He's got Asperger's, but he's just a regular guy.
- Ridiculously Human Robot
- Strong Family Resemblance: Kai is the spitting image of his mother.
Nanatsuki "Nan" Someperson
Son of... Well, some folks, you figure. Played by Kara, the GM.- Four-Temperament Ensemble: Melancholic.
- Hidden Depths: He seems bitter towards The Master II.
- Love Redeems: Subverted, for reasons you'll all figure out later.
- Nothing Personal: He doesn't seem particularly hammy or sadistic, but rather he behaves like he's performing a job... But right now, doesn't that seem worse?
- Smoking Is Cool: Well, it looks that way, doesn't it? But in reality, it's a self-soothing mechanism.
Jacqueline "Jac" Armando
Child of Wheeljack and Godot. Played by Spiny.- Ambiguous Gender: Following the lead of most Cybertronians, they just kind of never settled into one, even after they learned the difference.
- Do-Anything Robot: Downplayed. Though they have a wide variety of tools they can fold away into themselves, they have a limit to how many they can have stowed away, let alone active at once.
- Expressive Ears: Jac's headphone-like antenna are articulate based on their mood.
- Hollywood Cyborg: Technically. Scanning Godot's DNA while they were being created resulted in them becoming technorganic; A cybertronian with organic features inherent to their biology.
- My Greatest Failure: Sees themself as this, as they were meant to be a form of Headmaster that ended up not being paired with the larger body correctly. They're a fair bit self-conscious about being seen as inferior to others as a result.
- Ridiculously Human Robot: Comes with the territory of their creation.
- Tron Lines: The seams in their skin light up red when they're using any of their in-built gadgets
Hitomi Kino
Daughter of Bayonetta and an adult Makoto Kino. Played by Ani.- Action Girl
- Color-Coded Characters: Green.
- Four-Temperament Ensemble: Sanguine.
- Hollywood Autism: Averted. She's on the spectrum, but there are more things that define her other than that.
- Magical Girl
- Redhead In Green
- Shock and Awe
Rowan Inspector-Matthews
Son of Keith "Two-Bit" Matthews and Pickle Inspector. Played by Isa.- Animal Motifs: Cows.
- Back-Alley Doctor: Not this time. He's actually in college on a pre-medical degree program.
- Color-Coded Characters: Red.
- Sympathetic Murder Backstory
- The Alcoholic: He's been in recovery since he was eighteen, though.
Invidia "Vidi" Izunia
Daughter of Ardyn Izunia and Sydney Losstarot. Played by Scherzo.- Absurdly Sharp Claws: Made of metal, no less.
- Artificial Human: Kind of. Her face looks human enough, anyway.
- Black Blood: Though it's not for censorship purposes. Blame the daemonism.
- Cult: Grew up around Müllenkamp after Ardyn's death.
- Body Horror: Under her coat, she's basically just roiling daemonic essence wrapped around a metal skeleton.
- Genetic Memory: Was created from a piece of Ardyn, so inherited some of his memories.
- Hero with an F in Good: Attempting to find Ardyn's roots as a benevolent healer. Not doing too good at it, mostly due to daemonic bloodlust.
- Pay Evil unto Evil: Her MO, generally speaking. She's got a sadistic streak that needs channeling.
- Resurrective Immortality: Comes from both sides of the family.
- Rose-Haired Sweetie: Not... Not exactly.
Ansel Delaney Gin
Son of Doctor N. Gin and humanAU!Whipped Cream Cookie. Played by Emi / Emimimi- Artificial Human: Ansel was created in a lab, a fact that he's not at all ashamed of.
- Color-Coded Characters: Peachy pink
- Mad Scientist's Beautiful Daughter: Well, son in this case.
- Never Bareheaded: He almost always wears some kind of frilly decor, usually a bow.
- Real Men Wear Pink: Ansel is a gender non-conforming trans guy who is more secure with his own masculinity than 99% of cis men on this Earth and that's a fact.
Mirror Selves
The Scripted City's much simpler answer to Fetters, the Mirror Selves change with their owner rather than shifting phase - so to speak, there are an infinite amount of phases called life, but their root does not ever become a different person. You're stuck with the one you've got, have fun growing as a person!
The Snow King
Nan's mirror self, played by Kara, the GM.- Anti-Villain: He really does not like the position he's put in, but he has accepted it as a necessary evil - but necessary for what? What, indeed.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: But don't plan on defrosting this one.
- Elegant Classical Musician: Rare Male Example, he plays the piano.
- Evil Is Deathly Cold: His true form is a frostbitten, shambling corpse with a mummified skull for a face.
- Pretty in Mink: His gown has white fur trim.
- The Tower: His domain is a crumbling stone tower, and it does in fact fit the meaning of the Tarot card of the same name.
- Winter Royal Lady: Rare Male Example.
