Oh, my youth, please just forgive me already…

Have you ever messed with one of those silly 12-character memes and gotten a "what if character X got character Y pregnant?" question, and then wondered what would have happened if that child was actually born?

Well. Don't worry about it, a lot of things have changed. Maybe too many things.

Do you think that the world can ever be fixed?

Run by TeamKarasu.

Deadly Mistakes: The Scripted City includes examples of:

  • Catastrophic Countdown: The first session involved a bomb being planted in a mall, and all exits being sealed. The group had roughly an hour to find a way to unlock the main entryway and get everyone out in-time.
  • Character Development: This is a major theme of both this roleplay and its origin roleplay.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Hitomi, when presented with the blind box puzzle from Session 1 of TERMINATING THE WORLD.
    • "Oh, bugger my ass, someone's in a blind box." - Hitomi
  • Crack Ship: Vidi/Frank
  • Critical Failure: As it's a tabletop game, these are plentiful.
  • Four-Philosophy Ensemble:
    • The iterations of the roleplay itself.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble:
    • Among the main cast, we have:
      • Sanguine: Yuuka, Hitomi
      • Melancholic: Nan, Cecil, Vidi
      • Phlegmatic: Ansel, Jac, The Professor
      • Choleric: Kainashi, The Master II
  • Enemy Without: The Mirror Selves, if they can't be tamed into cooperating with you. They can be your best friend, or your worst enemy, depending on how conflicted and troubled you are inside.
  • Have We Met?: Rowan and Kainashi can't shake the feeling that they've seen each other somewhere before...
  • Hidden Depths: Vidi figures the mysterious demolitions expert has this, judging by the puzzles she and the party found strewn about the mall.
  • Ridiculously Average Guy: A running joke regarding Rowan.
    • “Am I the only one here who just has legs?” - Rowan himself.
    • "haha dude can't even teleport or divine blind bags" - Arin, Cecil's rper.
  • Sidetrack Bonus: Session 1 involved checking in on an anime store for a brief puzzle. The group thankfully also had enough time to destroy all of the awful manga and anime they found in the store.
  • Sorting Algorithm of Evil:
    • First, there's Nan, a terrorist who blew up a mini-mall, after... Waiting for everyone to evacuate it. Hm.
    • Next up, Wren deSadar, [WIP]
  • Soul-Sucking Retail Job: Frank, an NPC who is the center of a puzzle, is subjected to one. He's terrified of the bomb, yes, but he can't bring himself to leave his post of his own accord and barely holds back on crying joyfully after Vidi carries him out to safety.
  • Ragtag Bunch of Misfits
  • Urban Fantasy
  • Villains Act, Heroes React
  • World of Badass: The existence of Mistakes is more or less accepted, the only group of them that faces any real danger are Supers, who tend to stay quiet out of fear of being experimented on or used somehow by those in power above them.

     Characters

Yuuka Kralie

Daughter of Alex Kralie and a college-aged Mami Tomoe. Played by Kara, the GM.

Kainashi Namine

Son of Ritsu Namine and an adult Sabitsuki. Played by Kara, the GM.
  • Acid-Trip Dimension: His dreams, though quite a bit more coherent than his mother's.
  • Action Survivor: He's one of the few rare Mistakes with no magical powers or extraordinary fighting abilities.

Nanatsuki "Nan" Someperson

Son of... Well, some folks, you figure. Played by Kara, the GM.

Jacqueline "Jac" Armando

Child of Wheeljack and Godot. Played by Spiny.
  • Ambiguous Gender: Following the lead of most Cybertronians, they just kind of never settled into one, even after they learned the difference.
  • Do-Anything Robot: Downplayed. Though they have a wide variety of tools they can fold away into themselves, they have a limit to how many they can have stowed away, let alone active at once.
  • Expressive Ears: Jac's headphone-like antenna are articulate based on their mood.
  • Hollywood Cyborg: Technically. Scanning Godot's DNA while they were being created resulted in them becoming technorganic; A cybertronian with organic features inherent to their biology.
  • My Greatest Failure: Sees themself as this, as they were meant to be a form of Headmaster that ended up not being paired with the larger body correctly. They're a fair bit self-conscious about being seen as inferior to others as a result.
  • Ridiculously Human Robot: Comes with the territory of their creation.
  • Tron Lines: The seams in their skin light up red when they're using any of their in-built gadgets

Hitomi Kino

Daughter of Bayonetta and an adult Makoto Kino. Played by Ani.

Rowan Inspector-Matthews

Son of Keith "Two-Bit" Matthews and Pickle Inspector. Played by Isa.

Invidia "Vidi" Izunia

Daughter of Ardyn Izunia and Sydney Losstarot. Played by Scherzo.

Ansel Delaney Gin

Son of Doctor N. Gin and humanAU!Whipped Cream Cookie. Played by Emi / Emimimi

     Mirror Selves
The Scripted City's much simpler answer to Fetters, the Mirror Selves change with their owner rather than shifting phase - so to speak, there are an infinite amount of phases called life, but their root does not ever become a different person. You're stuck with the one you've got, have fun growing as a person!

The Snow King

Nan's mirror self, played by Kara, the GM.
