Main Duo

    Brains/Mary
"The schools? What about my education? I will kick her in the tushie! Nobody takes away my education!"

The heroine of the game, a brainy, bespectacled girl.

  • All of the Other Reindeer: In the Heroes and Villains demo, she gets picked on by Jeanne and her friends. When she first appears, Grasshead tricks her into falling off the top of the bathroom stalls, and almost immediately after, Jeanne has Brawn assault her for her lunch money despite Brains saying she already spent it. To make matters worse, her fellow students and even her teacher show no concern for her. Her entire motive for becoming a superhero is in part to get back at Jeanne for this.
  • Brains and Brawn: As their names indicate, she is the Brains who uses status-effecting skills in battle, while Brawn's moves focus on attack power.
  • The Cameo: A picture of her on a blackboard appears in Annabelle: Projection.
  • Enemy Mine: In Annventure of a Lifetime, she and Jeanne decide to put aside their rivalry to help the heroes fight Tyrannia, who plans to destroy both their dimensions.
  • Geek Physiques: She is often said to have an egg-shaped body.
  • Guest-Star Party Member: In Annventure of a Lifetime, she appears to aid Emma during the prison break segment before disappearing thereafter.
  • Nerd Glasses: She wears a pair to indicate her nerdiness.
  • Nerds Love Tough Schoolwork: She first sets out to defeat Jeanne upon learning that she took over the school and ruined it, and she describes a giant pile of unfinished homework as "bliss". In the Heroes and Villains demo, when asked to do a three page essay, she churns out 200 pages.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Her real name is Mary, but everyone calls her Brains.
  • Only Sane Woman: She and Brawn become a two-person variant after Brains stops acting goofy. They comment on the insanity around them and try to appeal to Jeanne's good side when everyone else hates them.
  • Sad Clown: She spends the first area being a goofy girl who makes off comments and snarks at people. Then when captured by the Gambler and meeting Brawn, she stops and reveals something about herself.
Can I tell you something? I admit. I have not been taking anything seriously since the takeover. I do not want to accept that this is happening. That our lives are being ruined by some BUTThead. And the more I keep acting like all of this is a joke. The more I can forget about her big FAT STUPID-

    Brawn/Geri Taylor
"Out of our way, joker! We're leaving your stupid little prison!"

A goth girl and the Brawn of the title. Her role differs between versions; in the demos, she serves under Jeanne, and in one of them antagonizes Brains along with her, but in others and the main game she is an ally to Brains who used to be friends with Jeanne but had a falling out.

  • Because You Were Nice to Me: In Heroes and Villains, she starts out bullying Brains until she saves her from a kidnapping by The Gambler. From then on, she resolves to befriend her savior.
  • Brains and Brawn: As their names indicate, she is the Brawn who's moves focus on attack power, while Brains uses status-effecting skills in battle.
  • Deuteragonist: Brains is the primary protagonist while Brawn does not show up until the second area, but is the secondary focus of the story.
  • Evil Redhead: Subverted in Heroes and Villains, where she initially is part of the gang of bullies picking on Brains, but becomes an ally.
  • Heel–Face Turn: In the Heroes and Villains demo, she initially serves Jeanne and helps her pick on Brains, but gradually has a change of heart.
  • His Name Really Is "Barkeep": When Brains reveals that her heal name is Mary and asks Brawn for her real name, she simply responds with.. Brawn. Subverted with the demos, which reveal her true name as Geri Taylor.
  • Lazy Bum: In the Heroes and Villains demo, her "essay" is a picture of a Wikipedia article, while in Project BNB, she doesn't even bother with that, instead just trying to bribe her teacher with money into giving her a good grade for zero work done.
  • Ms. Exposition: She explains the situation involving the bullying Jeanne went through that drove her to evil, as well as the abuse Gale suffered at the hands of his father.
  • My God, What Have I Done?: In the Heroes and Villains demo, after she helps capture Brains which leads to her being murdered by Jeanne, she cries knowing that she played a major role in it.
  • Only Sane Woman: She and Brains become a two-person variant after Brains stops acting goofy. They comment on the insanity around them and try to appeal to Jeanne's good side when everyone else hates them.
  • We Used to Be Friends: She and Jeanne were friends back in school, before Jeanne decided to become the mayor of Ravena and went mad with power.

Jeanne's Gang

Queen Jeanne Panini/Mean Jeanne The Ice Cream Queen (spoilers)
Hey. So, people of Ravena. You already know that I'm working on my new theme park. "Ice Cream Jeanne's Theme Park Dream." It's gonna be great. It's gonna be so big and badass. A reminder of who is the one and only Queen of Ravena. Everybody better be there once it's completed, or else.

A high school girl who bullied Brains and is secretly the leader of a gang of super villains out to conquer Ravena City. As of the main game, she has become the new mayor and ruler of Ravena City, which she rules via her Ice Creamlins.

  • All of the Other Reindeer: In school, the other kids would call her fat, nerdy, loser, and bully her in other ways, like spray-painting her student-of-the-year picture to give her an ugly mustache. It got so bad she dropped out just four months before graduation and ended up in a dead-end fast-food job- where her manager would also abuse her.
  • Alpha Bitch: In Heroes and Villains, she is the leader of a gang of girls consisting of herself, Brawn, and Grasshead who pick on Brains every day. She also brags about her popularity to her minions.
I don't want to brag, but since I'm pretty well known at my school [Brawn] always wants to suck up to me. I got her to beat up some nerd today. But then she felt bad about it and started crying.
  • Bad Boss: In the demos, she not only bosses around her subordinates, but physically and verbally abuses Brawn whenever she is displeased with her.
  • Became Their Own Antithesis: She used to be a quiet, timid, and insecure girl who was bullied all the time. Then Gale and The Gambler came along and transformed her into an egotistical tyrant and nasty bully herself who torments Brains for being a fat nerd- exactly the same way she was treated.
  • Berserk Button: Being called fat. In the Alpha demo, when Coach says this to her, she gets so mad that she begins her plot to Take Over the City right there, while in the full game, when Brains calls her a "fat boy", she tries to beat her up, beginning a boss fight. This stems from the bullying she received in school, where the bullies would pick on her for being fat. The only person who can do this and get away with it is her boyfriend Gale, and even he eventually gets shot when he pushes his luck too far with her.
  • Big Bad: In the demos, where Brains must stop her from taking over Ravena City. She appears to be this in the full game as the successful dictator of Ravena, but she turns out to be a pawn of Gale.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: She gives herself this image to her citizens to compensate for being called fat in school.
Creamlin: "Holy crap. Jeanne is so thick. Like I'm no chubby chaser but. Holy crap. Just holy CRAP. What I wouldn't do for a piece of that."
  • Disc-One Final Boss: She is initially built up as the villain who took over the city, but it is revealed she is just The Dragon to her boyfriend Gale, who manipulated her into it.
  • The Dragon: To Gale, her boyfriend, as she does whatever he tells her to.
  • Dual Boss: She fights you alongside The Gambler in the Heroes and Villains demo and alongside Gale in the end of the full game.
  • Enemy Mine: In Annventure of a Lifetime, she and Brains decide to put aside their rivalry to help the heroes fight Tyrannia, who plans to destroy both their dimensions.
  • Fat Bitch: She is somewhat chubby and the (supposed) Big Bad who puts people under brainwashing.
  • Final Boss: She and Gale fight you as a Dual Boss at the end.
  • Freudian Excuse: Subverted; when Brains and Brawn visit her house, she left notes lying around describing her abuse by a man. They initially assume it is her father, but he corrects them, saying its her boyfriend who is the abuser.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: From a widely bullied student and fast-food worker to tyrannical mayor of Ravena.
  • God Save Us from the Queen!: She is known as the Ice Cream Queen and uses her ice cream to brainwash the citizens of Ravena.
  • Heel–Face Turn: At the end of the game, she turns on Gale and kills him. Then she serves as an ally in the second Annventure and is one of the heroes of the third.
  • I Choose to Stay: Despite being from a different dimension, she chooses to stay in the Annventure world at the end of An Annventure To End Them All, seeing as she is a wanted criminal in her home universe.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: For all her posturing and attempts to make everyone love her, complete with plastering pictures and statues of herself everywhere, reading the notes inside her house reveals that she hates herself and slaps herself every night, and her self-esteem is dependent on her boyfriend Gale.
  • Last-Minute Hookup: Gets together with Rudy at the end of An Annventure to End Them All.
  • Love Makes You Evil: In Brains and Brawn Alpha, the death of her boyfriend is what turned her into a supervillainess who wants to take over Ravena, while in the full game, her very much still alive boyfriend Gale is the one who sets her on the path to villainy by manipulating her into serving as his frontwoman.
  • Official Couple: With Rudy as of An Annventure To End Them All.
  • Mayor Pain: As the new mayor of Ravena, she puts citizens under mind control via hypnotic ice cream and uses them as slave labor.
  • Promoted to Playable: Is one of the protagonists of An Annventure to End Them All.
  • Puppet King: She is supposedly the new Queen of Ravena, but in reality she is under Gale's control, with her having little will of her own.
  • Self-Harm: She likes to slap herself every night. Her boyfriend Gale is just annoyed by it.
  • Sinister Shades: She has a pair of green shades on at all times to add to her menacing look. It originally belonged to her Mean Boss back at the Weiner House where she worked, but The Gambler gave them to her after killing the manager.
  • Toxic Friend Influence: To Brawn. In the Heroes and Villains demo, she uses Brawn to bully Brains while privately admitting she finds her an annoyance rather than a friend, later trying to emotionally extort Brawn into joining her plot to Take Over the City by threatening to break off their friendship. In Alpha, she outright physically assaults Brawn.
  • Trademark Favorite Food: Ice cream, to the point that she calls herself the Ice Cream Queen and styles her supervillain persona after ice cream.
  • Unholy Matrimony: With her boyfriend Gale, as both work together to Take Over the City and cement their takeover via a wedding. Though it is abusive on his part and falls apart when he pushes her one too many times.
  • Walking Spoiler: She is initially built up as the goofy Big Bad- it is a major twist that she is seeking revenge for being bullied, is being used by Gale, and eventually becomes one of the chosen heroes to save The Multiverse.
  • Warmup Boss: She is the first boss of the full game, fought at the theater.
  • We Can Rule Together: In Heroes and Villains, she makes this offer to Brawn.
Yeah. I am a supervillain. And you. You could be one of us. Join us, Brawn. We can take over the city together. Then you'd finally be popular. Like you always wanted.
  • Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: She was bullied in school relentlessly, was also bullied by her Mean Boss at the Weiner House (and said boss almost fired her for making a snarky comment), and has a boyfriend, Gale, who pressures her into seeking revenge against the city. He treats her as a pawn for this purpose; when she finally gets sick of it and shoots him dead, she is arrested and sentenced to life in prison.

    The Gambler (spoilers)
Hello! I'm Queen Jeanne's #1 Henchperson. The Gambler! However, that's what my friends call me. My enemies, like you~ Call me THE Gambler! Remember that, now.

Jeanne's right-hand minion who loves gambling and has gambling motifs. They are the boss of Ravena high. They were once a Weiner House worker named Taylor, but the stresses of their job caused them to snap.

  • Affably Evil: They are incredibly friendly to Brains and Brawn despite capturing them and trying to stop them from overthrowing Queen Jeanne.
You shall stay here until you become not alive!~ And until that happens, I shall feed you three square meals a day. Freshly made by me. Straight from my kitchen, into your mouths.~ For those of you with allergies please tell me in advance. And I have vegetarian alternatives for my fellow animal lovers in the room. And the soup is self-serve. Don't even THINK of trying to escape! Because I'd miss you!
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Apparently they once made a gravestone for themself and buried themself, not realizing graves are for the dead. Also, they once called a meeting to determine which perfume smells the most mysterious. He then leaves a vitally important Super Juice container sitting in their Emergency Bathroom Lair unguarded.
My maid used to tell me I'm not very smart.
  • The Dog Bites Back: Back when they worked in the Weiner House, their Mean Boss would bully them for everything, and the King of the World would antagonize them, getting them suspended. When Blaire, their lover, loses their life savings at the King's Casino and runs away, they snap and murder the King and the manager.
  • The Dragon: Outright refers to themself as "Queen Jeanne's #1 Henchperson".
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: In Heroes and Villains, even as a supervillain, they care for their Robot Zombie Maid and are distraught when Brains kills her.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: As Taylor, they were just a normal fast food worker in a shitty job. Then their lover Blaire lost all their money at the casino, and Taylor lost their job- this, combined with all the stresses, finally made them snap and turn into The Gambler.
  • The Gambler: As they are named. They use a dice hammer, and their doors resemble dominoes.
  • Office Romance: Had one with Blaire, their co-worker in the Weiner House. It ended badly when Blaire gambled their life savings to get out of their sucky jobs and lost.
  • Practically Joker: They are a Monster Clown clad in green and purple with a theme (in this case, gambling), and are outright called "definitely not a Joker clone" in the description of their spinoff game. In particular, they most closely resemble the Arthur Fleck Joker, as both were once ordinary people struggling in an uncaring society and slowly losing everyone they care about until they snap and violently murder the targets of their hatred and help to usher in mass rioting.
  • Secondary Color Nemesis: His purple and green color scheme is part of his Practically Joker shtick (as Jeanne calls him a "cupcake clown looking ass").
  • Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: They worked in a dead-end fast-food job, could barely afford the rent, got suspended for standing up to a customer who treated them like shit, watched as their lover Blaire lost their life savings at the casino owned by the same customer who got them fired, and finally snapped when Blaire disappeared.

    The Wolfstalk Gang
IM NOT A FURRY
I'm part of Wolfstalk! THE MOST COOLEST EVILEST GANG IN RAVENA!

A gang of juvenile delinquents terrorizing Downtown Ravena. They are dressed in wolf costumes.

    Grasshead
I am Grasshead. Leader of Wolfstalk. And you've just wandered into a WORLD of pain.

The leader of the Wolfstalk gang and an uneasy all of Jeanne.

  • Arc Villain: She is the antagonist of the Downtown Ravena section as the leader of the gang blocking your progress.
  • The Bully: Turns out she was the ringleader of the bullies who tormented Jeanne back in high school.
  • The Cameo: She briefly shows up in An Annventure To End Them All inside Ravena Asylum before vanishing.
  • Card-Carrying Villain: She proudly brags about her villainy and being the leader of a vicious gang.
This chaos is my LIFE. Look around you! Burning buildings, vandalism, gang wars! I live and breathe this lifestyle.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: She shows up twice in Downtown Ravena and walks away before revealing herself as the leader of Wolfstalk.
  • Dark Action Girl: A brutal gang leader who fights the duo twice.
  • Driven by Envy: Her reason for bullying Jeanne.
I hated her. Flaunting her pretty little self around! On her way to graduate early! All the teachers just loved to talk about how great she was! [...] She has the perfect life while I had nothing. I don't just let people walk all over me like that.
  • Flunky Boss: Her first battle has her flanked by a bunch of Wolfstalk mooks.
  • I Own This Town: She claims to own Downtown Ravena by virtue of her gang running around the place.
  • The Social Darwinist: She admits to believing that "only the strong can climb to the top and survive".

    Robot Zombie Maid
All I do is sweep the floor. I'm not fit for fighting.

The Gambler's maid.

  • Ninja Pirate Zombie Robot: As her name suggests, she is a robot, zombie, and maid.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: She works for The Gambler because she gets paid to. She also doesn't stop Brains from sneaking around at first because she gets paid below minimum wage. It's only when her boss promises her a raise that she immediately rushes at Brains.

    TV Man
I'm the one who's been replacing all of Ravena City's favorite shows with EDUCATIONAL TELEVISON!

A supervillain who hijacked Ravena's TV stations and replaced it with educational TV. He encounters Brains in Ravena Dump.

  • Back from the Dead: After having been killed by Brains and Brawn, he and TV Woman are somehow alive in An Annventure To End Them All.
  • Battle Couple: In An Annventure To End Them All with TV Woman.
  • Dual Boss: In An Annventure To End Them All, he fights you alongside TV Woman.
  • Harmless Villain: His grand scheme is to replace all of Ravena City's favorite shows with... educational television. And while he is helping Jeanne Take Over the City, he seems to be the least important member of her Legion of Doom as he is killed by Brains early on.
  • TV Head Robot: He has a TV for a head, as befitting his theme of hijacking televisions.
  • Warmup Boss: In Heroes and Villains, he is the first enemy and boss fought.

    TV Woman
She got what she deserved for killing my sweetheart. Good riddance.

TV Man's lover in crime.

  • Avenging the Villain: She aids Jeanne in killing Brains to avenge TV Man, who Brains killed. However, in An Annventure To End Them All, when he dies again, she claims she will just find and marry a streaming service instead.
  • Back from the Dead: After having been killed by Brains and Brawn, she and TV Man are somehow alive in An Annventure To End Them All.
  • Battle Couple: In An Annventure To End Them All with TV Man.
  • Dual Boss: In An Annventure To End Them All, she fights you alongside TV Man.
  • TV Head Robot: Like her lover, she has a TV for a head.

    American Soil
What do y'all think you're doing?! Stealin' cars?! I'll have you know that here in America, crime is met with nothing but... SWEET. JESUS. JUSTICE.

A patriotic, America-loving supervillain.

  • Captain Patriotic: A rare supervillain variant, as he acts like the typical freedom-and-justice loving American superhero despite being a member of a Legion of Doom out to Take Over the City. He is also a parody of one, as his Thememobile, the Soil Speeder, is a truck with the American flag as coloring, he attacks with living burgers and a gun, and he "Laughs in American" while chasing Brains and Brawn.
You didn't like my burgers? In my country, we take that as a DEATH THREAT.
  • Dual Boss: With Cloud Candy in An Annventure To End Them All.
  • Final Boss: Of the Heroes and Villains demo, as afterwards all that's left is a short dream section.
  • I Shall Return: When defeated in Heroes and Villains, he says "I'll be back for you! I SWEAR I'll be back for you!" He indeed returns in An Annventure to End Them All, but it's Rudy who fights him there.
  • Wearing a Flag on Your Head: He wears an American flag bandana as part of his Captain Patriotic persona.

    Cloud Candy
but... aren't we like, criminals... you're soooooooooooooooooooooooo dumb, dude.

A floating supervillainess.

Other Major Characters

    Gale (spoilers)

Gale Ravena

Proud of me now, Dad?! You like what I did with your stupid city?! I OWN IT. I'm the KING. Who's the worthless, trashy loner now?!

A former hotdog salesman who quit his job. He is infatuated with Jeanne.

  • And Now You Must Marry Me: A variant in that he abuses Jeanne, his girlfriend and The Dragon, into marrying him to commemorate their takeover of Ravena City, and the duo must stop the wedding to save Jeanne.
  • Big Bad: He manipulated his girlfriend Jeanne into taking over the city in order to get revenge on his abusive father, the mayor.
  • The Cameo: He appears briefly in The Gambler working as a cashier in the Weiner House.
  • The Dog Bites Back: After being used by his father as slave labor, he takes over his city and tries to kill him.
  • Dual Boss: He fights you alongside Jeanne as the Final Boss.
  • Evil All Along: He is a recurring NPC who also serves as the shopkeeper and is in love with Queen Jeanne, but does not seem like an antagonist at first. But the third area reveals that he was the one using Jeanne as a pawn all along.
  • Final Boss: He and Jeanne fight you as a Dual Boss at the end.
  • Freudian Excuse: His father, the mayor, forced him to do back-breaking manual labor and showed no love to him- this is what made him decide to manipulate Jeanne into taking over the city so he could seek revenge. He also, as a result, hates any kind of labor.
Listen. You have NO idea how awful he was to me. HE'S the reason I have CONSTANT back pain. I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED BECAUSE OF ALL THE CRAP HE FORCED ME TO DO TO BECOME "A MAN". If it wasn't for his awful parenting I wouldn't have left and I'd be living a happy life in a happy home but I can't have that. I have to go out of my way to get what I want. You don't know what it's like! I just want him to SUFFER. Just ONCE. Just so HE can see what it's like. To be ME. Is that bad?
  • Guest-Star Party Member: Played with. He offers to join Brains for a short time, and she accepts, but he doesn't even help her in battle- he just clings on top of her and leaves as soon as they are off the bridge where he first joined.
  • Killed Off for Real: Jeanne shoots him dead when he pushes her too far.
  • Lazy Bum: According to Brawn, the abuse his father heaped onto him, treating him like a child slave, made him despise working.
Brawn: He hates all kinds of labor. I've talked with him before and he said the only reason he does it is because he'd be broke otherwise.
  • The Man Behind the Woman: He has been using Jeanne as a Puppet Queen and is the one who told her to take over the city in then first place to get revenge on his dad, the mayor.
  • Troubled Abuser: He was used by his dad as a child slave, forced to do labor. He thus became an unpleasant individual and when he dates Jeanne, he emotionally abuses her by making her dependent on him and yelling at her when she doesn’t do what he wants.
  • Unholy Matrimony: With his girlfriend Jeanne, as both work together to Take Over the City and cement their takeover via a wedding. Though it is abusive on his part and falls apart when he pushes her one too many times.
  • Walking Spoiler: He seems to just be a hot dog salesman and the salesman character, but is actually the son of the mayor and the real Big Bad.
  • Yandere: He apparently is so infatuated with Jeanne that he makes a room entirely in her image.
  • Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: He was treated as a slave by his father and was forced into manual labor so severe that he broke his back. Eventually, he ran away, and was forced to take bad, low-paying jobs like working in the Weiner House. This left him with a hatred of work and a desire for revenge, leading him to manipulate Jeanne into trying to take over Ravena. Jeanne brings this up in EGOventure.
Ego: How do you know who the fuck I am?
Jeanne: Because I knew someone like you. Someone who was so cold and ruthless. Someone who felt so helpless and not in control of their own life. So they took it out on others. They wanted power. They wanted to feel in control of something. And he got what he wanted. But not what he needed.

    James P. Ravena
Haha, my boy! Never shying away from telling the world how WEAK he is.

The mayor of Ravena who was overthrown by Jeanne.

  • Abusive Parents: As Brawn recounts, he "treated his son like a slave, making him do everything he wanted", and excused it by saying he was, in Brawn's own words, "just 'BuILDinG a HARd WoRKER". He even goes so far as to write a book called "I Hate My Son".
This beautiful city will only ever be run by the greatest men! That's why I'm trying to prevent my son from becoming a loser, a loner, a useless selfish boy! If I don't raise him right he will never make anything of himself and he will absolutely NEVER stand up to the task that is running Ravena! He needs to learn discipline!
  • Asshole Victim: He gets kidnapped by the Creamlins, then tied up and nearly killed by Gale, his son who he treated as a slave. Given this and what a Mayor Pain he is, it is hard to feel sorry for him.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: His abuse of his son, Gale Ravena, is what ultimately causes the plot as Gale becomes the Big Bad in search of revenge and manipulates Jeanne into being his puppet, while his mismanagement of Ravena indirectly brings about the plot of The Gambler, where the title character goes nuts after being beat down by society.
  • High-Class Glass: He wears a monocle on his left eye to show his status as the mayor.
  • Mayor Pain: He abused his son by treating him as a slave and justified it by saying that Misery Builds Character. As shown in the demos and The Gambler, the city of Ravena is also a Wretched Hive with him in charge, with garbage and vandalism everywhere, rampant crime and violence from supervillains and gangs, a growing homelessness problem, and the local school being a miserable place run by bullies and vandals.
Brawn: His back broke?? And you act like it's nothing??? You're so terrible! How are you our mayor???!
  • Sinister Schnoz: He has a big pointy nose and is a Mayor Pain as well as an Abusive Parent to his son.

Minor Characters

A living sinkhead who appears at the end of Heroes and Villains.

    Tiny Bean Plant of Wisdom
I am the tiny bean plant of wisdom. Would you like to hear my wisdom?

A tiny plant who shows up sometimes to give Brains a tutorial.

    Brainwashed Citizens
Queen Jeanne is the best. Queen Jeanne will always be the best.

The citizens of Ravena who have eaten the Hypno Cream and are brainwashed.

  • Ghostly Wail: All of them make a moaning sound effect when talked to.

    Ice Creamlins
Try some ice cream, kiddo! It'll make you wanna bow down and kiss Queen Jeanne's toes!

An army of gremlins made of ice cream that Jeanne commands. They sell the Hypno Cream that is putting the Ravena citizens under mind control.

    Thor
Queen Jeanne isn't just the Queen of Ravena. She is also the Queen of Asgard. And she told me in order to get into Valhalla, I must defend her honor at all costs! So have at you, silly egg-shaped person!

A citizen of Ravena who wants to get into Valhalla. Apparently the Norse God of Thunder himself, or someone dressed as him.

  • Optional Boss: You fight him after clearing the first area and going back to the very beginning of the game.

    Big Bois
A quartet of balls who attack the duo.
  • Degraded Boss: Big Boi A returns in Annventure of a Lifetime as a regular enemy.
  • Flunky Boss: The Big Boi A is the primary threat with the most health, while the Big Boi B, C, and D are mostly backup.
  • Giant Space Flea from Nowhere: All the other bosses have a clear relation to the plot or some explanation for being there, but these balls have no explanation.
  • Optional Boss: You can fight them after finishing the school area by going to Gale's hot dog area within said school.

    Jeanne's Father (spoilers)
I miss her a lot. I juts wish she would have listened to me about that boy. But he cheated his way into her little heart.

Jeanne's father who awaits her in his home.

  • Abusive Parents: Subverted. Initially, her journal describes her being abused by a male figure, and Brawn assumes it's her father, but as he clears up, it's actually her boyfriend Gale.
  • Good Parents: In contrast to the duo's initial impression, he loves his daughter and would comfort her whenever she was bullied.
She always told me she was scared of not being good enough. I always comforted her about it. I was always there for her. Well. I did until HE came into her life. [...] Her boyfriend. Her terrible, manipulative boyfriend.

Introduced in The Gambler (spoilers)

    Blaire
Tay-tay! Time to wake up!~

Taylor's lover and co-worker in the Weiner House. They are more optimistic than the cynical Taylor.

  • Despair Speech: After losing their life savings to the World Casino in an ill-fated attempt to win money to get a better job, they run away and give one to Taylor over the phone, explaining how they have given up on life.
  • Driven to Suicide: Possibly, given that they are last heard giving a Despair Speech after gambling away their life savings.
  • Office Romance: With Taylor, their co-worker in the Weiner House.
  • Uncertain Doom: Their last Despair Speech to Taylor combined with them vanishing afterwards could imply they were Driven to Suicide, but there is no confirmation either way.

    Weiner House Manager
Remember, you're replaceable. Literally everyone but you can sweep a floor.

The manager of the Weiner House. She is not a nice woman to her employees.

  • Asshole Victim: Gets hammered to death by The Gambler/Taylor, her employee whom she bullied and suspended, in the middle of bullying another employee, the shy Jeanne.
  • Killed Off for Real: Murdered by The Gambler.
  • Mean Boss: She looks down on her employees. When Taylor gets into an altercation with an Unsatisfiable Customer, she takes his side and suspends Taylor, showing no concern for him. In The Stinger, she berates Jeanne for doing a less-than-perfect job cleaning up the place.
  • Sinister Shades: While not evil, she is a Mean Boss and her green shades help make her look cold and unsympathetic. They are actually the same shades Jeanne wears later.
  • Small Role, Big Impact: She only has two scenes, but those scenes show her to be a Mean Boss who is majorly responsible for Jeanne and The Gambler being Driven to Villainy.
  • Villainy-Free Villain: Like the King, the Manager doesn't do anything illegal, but is a Mean Boss who mistreats and looks down on her employees.

    The King of the World
Don't preach to me, boy. I don't do nothing wrong. All these people make the choice to come here and play.

The greedy owner of the World Grand Casino.

  • Asshole Victim: He is a crooked casino owner who exploits his customers into gambling away their money, taking glee in doing so, and is an Unsatisfiable Customer who gets Taylor fired. Taylor eventually murders him with a hammer.
  • Big Bad: He is the one who gets Taylor fired, beginning their downward spiral into insanity, and worsens it by manipulating Blaire into gambling away their life savings.
  • Cutscene Boss: Unlike his employees who have actual fights, he is killed by The Gambler in a cutscene without putting up a fight.
  • Even Evil Has Loved Ones: He may be a crooked casino owner, but he has a big picture of himself and his daughter in his room, so he seems to love her.
