* FreudianExcuse: His father, the mayor, forced him to do back-breaking manual labor and showed no love to him- this is what made him decide to manipulate Jeanne into taking over the city so he could seek revenge. He also, as a result, hates any kind of labor.

* DrivenToSuicide: Possibly, given that they are last heard giving a DespairSpeech after gambling away their life savings.
* OfficeRomance: With Taylor, their co-worker in the Weiner House.
* UncertainDoom: Their last DespairSpeech to Taylor combined with them vanishing afterwards could imply they were DrivenToSuicide, but there is no confirmation either way.

The manager of the Weiner House. She is not a nice woman to her employees.

* MeanBoss: She looks down on her employees. When Taylor gets into an altercation with an UnsatisfiableCustomer, she takes his side and suspends Taylor, showing no concern for him. In TheStinger, she berates Jeanne for doing a less-than-perfect job cleaning up the place.
* SinisterShades: While not evil, she is a MeanBoss and her green shades help make her look cold and unsympathetic. They are actually the same shades Jeanne wears later.
* SmallRoleBigImpact: She only has two scenes, but those scenes show her to be a MeanBoss who is majorly responsible for Jeanne and The Gambler being DrivenToVillainy.
