Introduced in Season 1

    TommyInnit
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tommy_origins.png
IGN: TommyInnit
Origin: Avian
"I'm the above-average boy!"
Tommy is an Avian, and Wilbur's (surrogate) younger brother. In Season 1, he started construction on the Pub (later finished by Phil and renamed to "The Pube" by Wilbur). In Season 2, he's determined to learn to fly like his dad, Phil, through rigorous training, discipline, and maybe some performance-enhancing drugs.

As of Season 3, Tommy has been taught by Ninja in the ways of Ninjology, and is determined to spread Ninja's will across the server.

As an Avian, Tommy has a slightly faster run speed and can glide through the air. However, he can't digest meat, and can only sleep at high altitudes.
  • The Baby of the Bunch: Tommy was formerly the youngest member of the group, and his origin, the Avian, is essentially just a baby version of an Elytrian. In Season 2, Wilbur suggested Phil give him flying lessons, with little success.
  • Boring, but Practical: Tommy's powers are way less impressive than others. He's not capable of natural flight like Phil, Tubbo can fall slowly with practice, and he's unable to eat meat, which fills out the most hunger. However, his origin also has some of the fewest and most miniscule downsides, and his natural abilities can be augmented to incredible degrees by pieces of equipment. Now if only he knew how to take advantage of this...
  • Butt-Monkey: Not nearly as much as some other members, but when someone starts poking fun at someone else's Origin powers, expect him to be brought up, likely as an example of poor Origin design.
  • Cool Shades: He wore a pair in Season 1, but eventually ditched them.
  • Corrupt Corporate Executive: In Season 1, he was the founder of Innit Incorporated, and the backer of the superhero Crowfather. He and Ranboo were also the ones who actually did all the crime to convince Philza to take on the mantle.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Tommy considers pretty much anything that's smaller than him to be his child, including two chickens, an axolotl Wilbur gave him, and fellow server members Fundy, Sneeg and Techno. His reaction to Oswald the axolotl sells it.
  • Extreme Omnivore: Downplayed. When he's stressed, he'll start chewing on moss from the moss block he carries around. There's no indication he actually eats it, though, and while he's apparently fine chewing on moss, he can't eat meat of any kind.
  • Fantastic Racism: Played for Laughs in Season 1. Tommy apparently hates short people, specifically having enmity with Slimecicle, and ordering the Crowfather not to help any short people on the server.
  • Innocent Innuendo: How innocent they are is debatable, but Tommy does throw out some... questionable comments from time to time.
Tommy: I drowned in the hole! I went deep for father, and now my things got wet and I drowned.
    Sneeg: You what?!
Scott: ...Every day, you make it more and more dangerous for me to stream with you.
  • Muggle: Downplayed. While Tommy does have some special abilities, they're made practically useless by the fact that other origins have the same or even better abilitiesnote  with significantly fewer drawbacks.
  • Security Blanket: In Season 2, he carries around a block of mossy cobblestone at all times, and panics when he thinks he's lost it or someone stole it. When he's really stressed, he'll place it down and start chewing on the moss.

    Wilbur Soot
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wilbur_soot_skin.png
IGN: WilburSoot
Origin: Phantom
"Bet you wish you could go invisible and be unseen by the enemies of the night!"
Wilbur is a Phantom, Tommy's (surrogate) older brother, and the de-facto leader of the group. He spearheaded the construction of the Pube, and is in charge of adding new members to the server and balancing out the Origins. When he's not busy with that, he usually haunts people, or works on his own building projects.

As a Phantom, Wilbur is translucent, and can enter a Phantom State (what he calls "going ghost"). In this state, he is completely invisible, and can phase through walls. However, he has less health than a normal player, loses hunger very quickly while in his Phantom State, and, while not in his Phantom State, burns in the sunlight.
  • Collector of the Strange: As an antiquarian, Wilbur collects antiques and rare books which he stores in his library near the Pube.
  • Didn't Think This Through: On one occasion, he utilises his intangibility to sink through the ground beneath him in the Nether. There is a pitfall underneath which he does not account for, causing him to fall to his death, akin to the outcome when one digs straight down (minus the digging, of course).
  • Friendly Ghost: Wilbur is effectively a ghost, and while he does use his abilities to annoy his server-mates, it never goes beyond good-natured teasing.
  • Intangibility: Entering his Phantom State allows Wilbur to walk through walls and sink through floors at will, similar to how scaffolding works for normal players.
  • Invisibility: Wilbur is normally translucent, but can become fully invisible by entering his Phantom State (though his armor remains visible).
  • Kryptonite Factor:
    • Sunlight will straight up catch him on fire if he doesn't take measures to prevent this. Wilbur has died multiple times by failing to realize that dawn has broken and spontaneously combusting without a means to put himself out on hand.
    • While Wilbur can pass through most blocks, he cannot pass through bedrock or obsidian. Theoretically, all you'd need to negate his abilities is to trap him in an obsidian box.
  • Laser-Guided Karma: As Wilbur is waiting for Phil to help retrieve his lost items from the Nether, he decides to stare at an Enderman's eyes to aggro him on purpose for the lulz. Said Enderman would later ambush him when he is getting back those items from a chest, killing him.
Phil: Oh! What a surprise! The thing that you angered is back for revenge! (Sarcastic Clapping)
Wilbur: (slams table repeatedly) Video games suck!
  • Mythology Gag:
    • Wilbur chose the Phantom-origin to emulate Ghostbur, his character from the Dream SMP.
    • Recognising that nobody on the server is into potions, Wilbur has the idea of making the Potion Hut, a reference to how he is "a potion-y boy" from the Dream SMP. The potential of a "Drug Van 2.0" causes much concern among his stream chat.
  • Situational Sociability: In Season 3, it is revealed that he has social anxiety; however, the only person he truly feels comfortable around is Tommy.
  • Weakened by the Light: If he's not in his Phantom State or in water, Wilbur will catch fire if he comes into contact with sunlight.

    Philza
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ph1lza_origins_2.png
Click here to see him in Season 1-2
IGN: Ph1LzA
Origin: Elytrian
"Here comes mama bird, you fuck!"
Phil is an Elytrian, the oldest of the group, and the one who gets most of the actual work done. He's responsible for the construction of the Pube. In Season 1, he was enlisted by Tommy to work for Innit Incorporated, becoming the superhero known as the Crowfather.

In Season 3, however, Phil concluded that he was the only competent member of the server, and that the others must be made to listen to him. Thus, he sets out to get in everyone's good book by doing favors for them and giving them all sorts of items that he believes will be useful. However, he's so forceful with this that pretty much everyone is unnerved by him.

As an Elytrian, Phil has a pair of wings he can use to fly, as well as an ability that lets him launch himself upward without the use of a firework. However, he takes twice as much kinetic damage, can't wear iron, diamond or netherite armor, and gets weakness and slowness whenever he's in a cramped space. He also cannot see glass.
  • Corporate-Sponsored Superhero: As the Crowfather, the superhero created and backed by Innit Incorporated.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: According to cc!Phil, Philza was an orphan who believed his parents were rich and wanted to rule everything so he could find them.
  • Hobbes Was Right: He believes that the people on the Origins server if left to their own devices, will inevitably start fighting and killing each other over meaningless things, so he plans to become The Good King and give everyone things that they want to placate them but also have control over them in order to make sure that they don't screw up.
  • Master Archer: Phil is extremely good with a bow, to the point where he has hit Sneeg on the ground while Phil himself was sitting on the Pube's island, while also being battered by phantoms. He's also once hit Charlie, who was both running around actively trying to dodge, and, due to a glitch, about the size of an ant.
  • Running into the Window: Phil can't see glass, and has flown into windows on multiple occasions.
  • Team Dad: Phil is a no-nonsense kind of person, and often takes none of his server-mates' shit. However, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone, he's willing to put up with the ribbing. He's also the one everyone else usually turns to for help or advice.
Charlie: We can't just keep going back to Phil for everything!
Wilbur: We can! We can! Phil knows!
  • Winged Humanoid: His Origin gives him a pair of wings.

    Ranboo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ranboo_origins.png
IGN: Ranboo
Origin: Enderian
"Your baseless threats mean nothing to me, peasant."
Ranboo is a young, spoiled, sassy Enderian, who doesn't understand social norms in the slightest, and feels entitled to everything on the server. He is trying to improve his social skills however, and carries a book with polite phrases to learn how to carry conversations with the other server members.

As an Enderian, Ranboo can teleport infinitely by throwing an Ender Pearl, has a longer reach, and constantly emits purple particles. However, he's highly allergic to water, to the point where even drinking water or standing in the rain hurts him, and he cannot see people if they wear a pumpkin on their head.
  • Abnormal Allergy: As well as being hydroallergenic, Ranboo is also allergic to pumpkins. He is physically unable to consume anything with pumpkin in it, such as pumpkin pie, and cannot wear carved pumpkins on his head. Ridiculously, he can't even see other people wearing a carved pumpkin, allowing for someone wearing one to appear completely invisible to him.
  • Kick the Dog: Upon learning of James' inability to mine natural stone, he hands him an Iron Pickaxe to mock him.
  • Kill It with Water: Ranboo cannot touch or drink water without taking damage.
  • Royal Brat: He is a prince from the End, and feels entitled to everything.
  • Spoiled Brat: Dear God. He hogs the Nether Roof to himself, breaks another portal to the Nether Roof in Season 2, and is generally an unpleasant person.
  • Teleportation: Ranboo can throw an Ender Pearl to teleport instantly to wherever it lands. Unlike normal Ender Pearls however, Ranboo has an infinite amount (though it does have a cooldown), and doesn't take damage while teleporting.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: He becomes a Spoiled Brat in Season 2, and it only gets worse from there. Subverted in Season 3, where he becomes mellow again... then double subverted when Aimsey joins the server.

    Tubbo
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tubbo__origins_2.png
Click here to see him in Season 1-2
IGN: Tubbo_
Origin: Bumblebee
Tubbo is a young Bumblebee who lives in a hive under the lake. Despite his innocent looking appearance, Tubbo has plans to become the main villain of the server.

As a Bumblebee, Tubbo doesn't need to eat, instead recharging his hunger and regenerating his health by standing near flowers. He can also levitate (albeit very slowly), and can poison people by punching them. However, he can't eat any food, he has less health than the average player, he gets hunger, weakness and slowness in the rain, and will die if he's not near his bed at night. He also has a button that will instantly kill him.
  • Cloud Cuckoo Lander: While everyone on the server is a bit strange, Tubbo is profoundly weird.
  • Due to the Dead: In a villainous example of this, Tubbo disrupting Shelby's burial ground to build an alleyway of sorts caused her to return as a ghost.
  • Evil Costume Switch: In Season 3, he follows through with his plans to become a villain. With this, he changes from blond to brunet, his sclera turns black, and he switches from light overalls to a dark jacket with pants.
  • Killer Rabbit: On the surface, Tubbo is perhaps one of the most innocent-looking members of the server, as his Origin is a Bumblebee, and his skin puts him in a striped sweater, dungarees with a bee on the front, and fluffy bee slippers. However, Tubbo regularly kills people for fun, and has plans to become the server's main villain.
  • Press X to Die: Literally. Tubbo has an ability that instantly kills him when activated, with no benefits. He's put the button for it as close to his controls as possible, just because it'd be funny if he accidentally pressed it.

    Nihachu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nihachu_origins.png
IGN: Nihachu
Origin: Merling
"Stop polluting my pond!"
Niki is a Merling who lives in the lake below the Pube. Due to her origin, she has a hard time getting around, and requires a lot of help to come and hang out with her friends. She usually stays in her lake or in her tank in the Pube, though she ventures out onto land in the rain.

As a Merling, Niki can breathe, see perfectly, break blocks as normal, and stop herself from sinking underwater. However, she cannot breathe air, and will suffocate within a minute if she's out of the water.
  • Artistic License – Biology: The explanation for why Niki can breathe underwater and not on land is that she has gills. However, Niki can leave the water when it rains, without suffering any negative repercussions. This is not the case in real life, as rain is not nearly enough water to sustain a gilled animal, and leaving it in the rain will kill it just as fast as keeping it dry.
  • Butt-Monkey: Niki definitely has it the hardest out of everyone. Not only can she not go into any of the communal areas without major adjustments, the others go out of their way to annoy her by throwing trash in her pond and tapping on the glass of her tank in the Pube.
  • Cuteness Proximity: She thinks Sneeg is absolutely adorable and coos over him every chance she gets. She even died once because she was too busy fawning over the fact that Sneeg can fit under a bed that she forgot to go back to her tank to catch her breath.
  • Our Mermaids Are Different: Niki doesn't have a visible mermaid tail and cannot breathe air, but otherwise behaves like a mermaid does.

    Jack Manifold
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jackmanifoldtv_origins_2.png
Click here to see him in Season 1-2
IGN: JackManifoldTV
Origin: Blazeborn
"Oi! None of that in me pub!"
Jack is a gruff Blazeborn. In Season 1, he owned, ran and lived in the Pube, though in Seasons 2 and 3, he's moved out to live in a man-made volcano.

As a Blazeborn, Jack is immune to fire and lava damage, as well as to the hunger and poison status effects, and deals double damage when on fire. However, he takes damage when in contact with water, and spawned in the Nether, requiring Tommy to scrounge up the materials for a Nether portal to come save him.
  • The Bartender: He was the main owner of the Pube before deciding to live in a volcano.
  • Fiery Stoic: He's the no-nonsense bartender of the Pube, and he's a Blazeborn, which comes with fire immunity and being strengthened when on fire.
  • Hair-Trigger Temper: Downplayed, but Jack can get frustrated very easily, especially when it comes to losing his items.
  • Kill It with Water: Being a fire creature, Jack takes damage when in contact with water, including rain.
  • Mythology Gag: Unintentional, but this isn't the first time Jack has dragged himself out of Hell.
  • Not So Above It All: Jack usually acts tough and no-nonsense, but he's definitely got a silly streak of his own. Case in point, while trekking to a desert with Charlie and Ranboo, Jack starts reciting various nonsensical Among Us references, and even reads out parts of Diary of a Wimpy Kid while doing a flawless Chills impression (the guy from Burger King Foot Lettuce).
  • Oop North: Jack is Northern, and often plays up his accent for comedic effect.

    Slimecicle
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/slimecicle_origins.png
IGN: Slimecicle
Origin: Slimecician
"Oh, that's miserable, I'm in!"
Charlie is a profoundly strange Slimecician who mostly hangs around the Pube, though he lives in a wooden tower by Niki's pond. He's said to be extremely unpleasant to touch.

As a Slimecician, Charlie is translucent and entirely green, has an improved jump height, and bounces off of blocks as if on slime blocks. He doesn't immediately die after losing all his health, instead shrinking to half his size twice before he can be killed. However, he gets hungry more quickly, has less health overall which gets whittled down even further every time he shrinks, and will catch fire if he enters a hot biome (desert, badlands, savanna) during the day.

    Sneegsnag
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sneegsnag_origins.png
IGN: Sneegsnag
Origin: Inchling
Sneeg is an Inchling who lives inside a man-made cave. Due to his small size, he can fit into spaces inaccessible to normal players, and has started an elaborate tunnel system that only he can fit through.

In Season 3, he teams up with Philza to have the server under his control, mostly out of anger for constantly having his items get snatched out of his hands every time the server reboots, which makes his effort to get them useless.

As an Inchling, Sneeg is about 1/4th the size of a normal player, and thus can fit into places normal players can't (such as the gap between two slabs or an overturned stair). He can also climb walls, doesn't take fall damage, requires less food, can use sugar to give himself a speed boost and is immune to the Thorns enchantment. However, he has only half the health of a normal player, and his range is shorter.
  • Butt-Monkey: During his first day on the server, he was killed repeatedly by Tubbo and Ranboo, just because they thought it was fun to punt him. Later, Wilbur offered him a place to stay underneath his house and gave him full permission to sneak around inside... under the sole condition that if Wilbur ever caught him, he could beat Sneeg to death with a bucket. Keep in mind that Wilbur, as a character that can walk through walls, is the only one who can actually follow Sneeg into his secret tunnels.
  • Deadpan Snarker: He has a wry sense of humor, especially at everyone's shenanigans.
  • Lilliputians: Sneeg's size is about a quarter of a normal player's.
  • Shout-Out: His skin is inspired by Lancer, a character from Deltarune.

    Smajor
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/smajor1995_origins_2.png
Click here to see him in Season 1
IGN: Smajor1995
Origin: Starborne
"Can't handle catching a shooting star? That's not my fault, weakling."
Scott is a Starborne who lives in a hobbit hole at the top of one of the mountains around the Pube, next to Beau's tower. He's laid-back and very friendly, more than confident in his god-like abilities, and mostly busies himself with building community infrastructure and making the area look nice.

As a Starborne, Scott can launch himself upwards or forwards, will get health buffs and the ability to glide when under the stars, and has a powerful shooting star attack that can kill any mob at range. However, he takes double damage from fire, and has a small chance to be completely blinded and immobilized when hit. When he's killed, he explodes with the force of a charged creeper.
  • Bishie Sparkle: Justified. All Starbornes emit sparkles, and Scott is no exception. At first, he believed that he was the only person who sparkles. But then Sparklez came along, and he was not amused.
Scott: I sparkle. That's my thing.
  • Celestial Body: He's essentially a sentient shooting star.
  • Curtains Match the Window: He has purple hair and eyes.
  • Defeat Equals Explosion: When he's killed, he'll explode with the force of a charged creeper, although it's on a cooldown.
  • Hates Being Alone: According to his content creator counterpart, Scott spent thousands of years floating around in the void of space, completely alone, before he crashed into the planet and found the rest of the Origins members. The reason he does so much community work is that he's deathly afraid of being abandoned, and feels like he needs to give the others a reason to stay.
  • Inferiority Superiority Complex: Scott is easily the most powerful person on the server, bordering on Physical God status, and is very aware of that fact. He often boasts about his abilities and threatens those who try to mess with him. However, because of the thousands of years he spent alone in the void of space, Scott places his entire sense of self-worth in what he can do for others, as he's so deathly afraid of being alone again that he'll make himself as useful and approachable as possible to get them to stay. This, in turn, means that he feels completely worthless whenever he's not helping others.
  • Interrogation by Vandalism: Of a sort. Befitting his nature as a Person of Mass Destruction, he'll often walk into areas someone he's talking to cares about and threatens to die there. Given that his death causes a supernova with the destructive force of a charged creeper, he often gets his demands.
  • Person of Mass Destruction: Due to the fact that he explodes upon death, Scott is essentially a walking nuke.
  • Riddle for the Ages: Despite emitting purple sparkles on default, after coming in contact with Sparklez, Scott's star-abilities suddenly start becoming tinged with red, normally only a royal colour for Starbornes. Why this is the case has never been explained.
  • Technicolor Eyes: He has purple eyes, likely in tribute to his celestial origin.
  • Weak to Fire: Takes double damage from fire.

    Fundy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/itsfundy_origins.png
IGN: ItsFundy
Origin: Fox
Fundy is a Fox who lives in a den near Phil's birdhouse. Fundy has made it his mission to steal as much as he physically can, and frequently goes around people's homes to rob them of their valuables.

As a Fox, Fundy can store items in his mouth, and retain them even in death. He also doesn't take fall damage, has improved jump height, improved run speed, and permanent night vision, as well as a pounce attack that will launch him high up in the air, and deal double damage if he hits someone while pouncing. He will also turn invisible if he crouches and stands completely still for a while, and sweet berries will saturate him for much longer. However, he gets hungrier much faster, has less health, cannot use shields, and is shorter than an average player.
  • Cunning Like a Fox: Fundy is a humanoid fox, as well as a thief and a scam artist. He even tried to capitalize on this by opening a business where people could pay him to go into someone else's house and rob them blind.
  • Critical Hit Class: When he uses his Pounce ability as a fox, his crits deal double damage. With critical hits already dealing ×1.5 damage, that means that when he pulls it off, his attacks can do three times the damage that they would normally do.
    • Some fans have done the math. With a Sharpness V Netherite Axe and the Strength II effect, he could instantly kill anyone in anything less than enchanted netherite (excluding the effects of other Origins).
  • Little Bit Beastly/Fox Folk: Fundy is a humanoid fox.
  • Look Behind You: Fundy tries this on Philza after Phil confronts him about his crime business. Phil isn't fooled, but looks anyway. Fundy legs it. Phil instantly turns back around, chases him down and kills him.
  • Never My Fault: Fundy will usually try to deny if he's stolen anything, even when it's incredibly obvious he's done just that. On one occasion, Fundy was killed as mentioned above running away from Philza, which lead to some of his dropped items entering Philza's inventory, causing Fundy to immediately shift the blame onto Philza and immediately assume he's trying to start a competing scamming business of his own, even though Philza is usually called in to fight crime on the server, which Fundy was doing.
  • Plausible Deniability: Fundy at one point attempts to give Philza Netherite in one deal. He doesn't have any raw Netherite, so he immediately tells him to stand there and wait until he finds "netherite" (read: a piece of stolen dried kelp). He returns with it, and attempts to get Philza to take the dried kelp while constantly switching out his netherite sword with the kelp. Philza takes his sword anyways.
  • Sticky Fingers: Fundy will steal absolutely everything that he can physically get to. He's stolen so much stuff from people that Wilbur has declared his item stash the community storage, and everyone just comes by to take their stuff back every once in a while.
  • Too Dumb to Live: After stealing from Scott one too many times, Scott runs into Fundy's cave with the intent of blowing up his stash. Fundy, even though he's aware that Scott can and will explode on death, immediately kills him when he runs into his cavern, right on top of his stash. Needless to say, this didn't end well.
  • Video Game Perversity Potential: At one point, he builds a penis on Philza's house and a giant sign shilling his illegal scamming business. Philza is not amused.

    Jschlatt/Fragrance Man
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jschlatt_origin_skin.png
IGN: jschlatt
Origin: Arachnid
Fragrance Man is a character that only shows up on occasion. He is able to generate scents at will, and identify any smell. He is also an Arachnid, but this was never brought up or mentioned again during the first season; his Season 2 appearance had him revisit the server as a Phantom briefly, before being turned back into an Arachnid.
  • Ascended Extra: He goes from being a Bit Character in Season 1–2 to being a helper for James' library.
  • Back from the Dead: During his second appearance, Tommy and Wilbur worked together to reverse his death.
  • Bit Character: He only showed up to generate some scents, then immediately died. He eventually returns in Season 2, and becomes a recurring character in Season 3.
  • Killed Off for Real: Fragrance Man died about an hour after he was introduced. His gravestone sits on the hill behind Philza's birdhouse. Subverted after he gets revived.

    Technoblade
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/technoblade_origins.png
IGN: Technoblade
Origin: Rabbit
Techno is a carefree rabbit who cares for nothing except carrots. Giving him carrots is by far the easiest way to befriend him.

As a Rabbit, Techno takes less fall damage, has a higher run speed and jump height, and can leap across massive distances. However, he can only eat carrots or golden carrots, can't wear diamond or Netherite armor, and has less health.
  • Adaptational Wimp: For whatever reason, Technoblade seems content to just hang around the server and mooch carrots off the other players rather than farm resources to get rich or use his PVP skills to attack the other players.
  • Killer Rabbit/Hair-Raising Hare: A slightly more literal example than usual, Technoblade uses the Rabbit origin and is one the best PVP players on the server.
  • Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: He literally runs for the hills upon learning Fragrance Man has COVID-19.
  • Trademark Favourite Food: Carrots and golden carrots. Justified as they are apparently the only food he can consume.

Introduced in Season 2

    Beautie
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/beautie__origins.png
IGN: beautie_
Origin: Avian
Beau is a loud, excitable Avian who lives in a tower at the peak of the mountain next to Scott's.

As an Avian, Beau has a slightly faster run speed and can glide through the air. However, she can't digest meat, and can only sleep at high altitudes.
  • Genki Girl: She's very chipper and bubbly, almost on Tommy's level.
  • Goggles Do Nothing: She wears a pair on goggles on her avatar, but is never seen wearing them. Enforced as it's a Minecraft skin.

    James Marriott
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/jamesdoesmining_origins.png
IGN: JamesDoesMining
Origin: Feline
James is a relatively laid-back feline, who has made it his mission to construct a massive library near spawn.

As a Feline, James can jump higher while sprinting, doesn't take fall damage, has slightly better night vision, and scares off creepers. However, he only has 9 hearts, and cannot mine stone if there are 2 or more blocks of stone next to it.
  • Butt-Monkey: Even more-so than Niki. He gets made fun of for his inability to mine stone, and gets pranked by Wilbur on one occasion.
  • Cat Boy: He has cat ears and a tail, courtesy of his Feline origin.
  • Ironic Name: His in-game name is JamesDoesMining, but as a Feline, he can't mine natural stone.

Introduced in Season 3

    Shubble
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/shubbleyt_origins.png
IGN: ShubbleYT
Origin: Phantom
As a Phantom, Shelby is translucent, and can enter a Phantom State. In this state, she is completely invisible, and can phase through walls. However, she has less health than a normal player, loses hunger very quickly while in her Phantom State, and, while not in her Phantom State, burns in the sunlight.
  • Nice Girl: She's very friendly towards anyone she meets, including Aimsey.

    Badlinu
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/badlinu_origins.png
IGN: Badlinu
Origin: Avian
As an Avian, Freddie has a slightly faster run speed and can glide through the air. However, he can't digest meat and can only sleep at high altitudes.

    CaptainSparklez
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/captainsparklez_origins.png
IGN: CaptainSparklez
Origin: Starborne
Sparklez, Prince of All Starbornes. Arrived via a crash-landing, he is currently searching for a means to contact his parents, to report back and let them know he is safe.

As a Starborne, Sparklez can launch himself upwards or forwards, will get health buffs and the ability to glide when under the stars, and has a powerful shooting star attack that can kill any mob at range. However, he takes double damage from fire, and has a small chance to be completely blinded and immobilized when hit. When he's killed, he explodes with the force of a charged creeper.

    aimsey
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aimsey_origins.png
IGN: aimsey
Origin: Enderian
As an Enderian, aimsey can teleport infinitely by throwing an Ender Pearl, has a longer reach, and constantly emits purple particles. However, they're highly allergic to water, to the point where even drinking water or standing in the rain hurts her, and she cannot see people if they wear a pumpkin on their head.
  • Motor Mouth: Rattles off on a long tangent bragging about their accomplishments while introducing themself to Bek. Bek's episode lampshades it by transcribing said tangent as one overly-long sentence.
Aimsey: I mean, I'm nothing if innovative and I'm also very smart and amazing and incredible and talented–
    Bek: (interjecting) And humble.
Aimsey: If you don't know me– I– yeah, I'm so humble. Uh, I'm Aimsey, I'm so talented; I'm actually a writer– autograph– autobiography-maker, a film-maker, as well as a film– film star and a– and a TV show artist star and a– I write– and I– I'm an artist… and I'm royal! And I'm famous and rich! That's me!
  • Royal Brat: Just like Ranboo, they believe they're entitled to everything and is generally spoiled.

Origin: Shulk
As a Shulk, Ash has 9 extra inventory spaces which he keeps upon death, natural armor protection, and can break natural stone without a pickaxe. However, he exhausts more quickly and can't use shields.

IGN: bekyamon
Origin: Chameleon
Bek is a Chameleon who lives in a tree outside one of Aimsey's houses for sale. She takes advantage of her invisibility powers to spy on and troll others on the server.

While Bek was initially adopted as a Sapient Pet by Tubbo shortly after her arrival on the server, her request for emancipation was brushed off, leading her to turn against Tubbo to work as Phil's spy.

As a Chameleon, Bek is only half the size of a normal player and can turn invisible and climb up walls. She can also stick out her tongue at items other players for up to 16 blocks to pull them towards her. However, she only has half the health of a normal player and can only eat meat.
  • Con Man: Exploiting how Tommy and Tubbo have a to-do list for their less-than-morally-upstanding efforts, Bek puts down a sign and adds to the to-do list that they should give her all their worldly goods, and runs off with a large amount of stone and wood.
  • Epic Fail: One of the first things she does on the server is to sneak up on Scott and Tubbo and eavesdrop while they're having a conversation… only to be accidentally inflicted with the poison effect by Tubbo, startling both of them, causing Scott to accidentally trigger his shooting star attack and kill her.
  • From Beyond the Fourth Wall: Bek's stream chat manifests as her scales.
  • In-Series Nickname: Due to being Tubbo's Sapient Pet, he often calls her "Gus" or variations thereof.
  • Portmanteau: Her "legal" name is 'Bekyameleon'.
  • The Prankster: Using her invisibility powers, one of the first things she does on the server is to eavesdrop on Scott and Tubbo, and later spends some time "haunting" Tommy with insulting commentary and her tongue.
  • Sapient Pet: Not long after her arrival on the server, Tubbo excitedly asks for Bek to be his pet chameleon, which she is adamantly against but agrees to as a "temporary living situation" since she doesn't have a house yet. When she later files for "emancipation" from this status as Aimsey suggests, Tubbo grabs the book and hands it to Tommy, who was looking for a book and quill to make a list of weaknesses for everyone on the server, and the two start chanting nonsense, completely ignoring Bek.
  • Stealth Expert: Due to her invisibility powers encompassing even armour and any items she's holding, Bek can go completely invisible and sneak around easily to spy on others. However, she isn't quite as subtle when it comes to persuading people to give her information.
  • Turncoat: After Tubbo sends her on a mission to spy on Phil and find information about his castle and secret base, Bek is offered a deal to be Phil's spy and "loyal follower" in exchange for emancipation from being Tubbo's Sapient Pet. She takes it, takes 17 diamonds of payment from Tubbo, deliberately reports cryptic information back, and runs for it before Tubbo can process he's just been scammed.
  • Walking Shirtless Scene: Notably only walks around with shorts on, with Godiva Hair covering the rest.
  • Whole-Plot Reference: Bek recounts her backstory as having lived in a far-off, colourful forest with fluffy trees, only for "this little orange bastard" who claims to "speak for the trees" to alert her and her friends of the deforestation of the habitat and tell them to leave.
Scott: Was that just the plot of The Lorax?
Bek: …I don't know who that is.
