    Bob

Hell Bob
"Trouble" form
"Onslaught" form
"Bob Takeover" form
A poorly-drawn character who serves as the main focus of the mod.
  • Alice and Bob: He's a generic character who is meant to demonstrate the tropes of the typical FNF mod, and his name is Bob.
  • Ambiguously Related: He looks quite similar to Little Man, and in the VS Bob And Bosip's "Bob Takeover" bonus week, Bob's singing style resembles his, as he too overrides his songs with a barrage of memes, turns Boyfriend into Mr. Anders briefly (in the same manner as to how Little Man transformed into Tankman) and he too becomes clips of a video (in this case multiple stills of Cartoon Beatbox Battles's videos) in the same manner as to how Little Man became CalebCity's "Ayo the Pizza Here" vine, hell, Bob even sings "Little Man"'s main chorus at some point.
  • Ambiguous Situation: Did Bob kill Ron in order to take a step to rid the world of misogyny, or was he just doing it because Ron was in his way and/or he wanted to make a dramatic entrance? Nobody knows, really.
  • Art Shift: In VS Bob And Bosip's "Bob Takeover" week, Bob's shading and animations improve as a side-effect of him stealing the other Bob's clothes.
  • Berserk Button: In the name of all that is holy, don't say he looks like Dream.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: He might look silly, but you don't want him to get mad...
  • Big Bad: Of his own mod and Bob Takeover.
  • Characterization Marches On: In Literally Every FNF Mod Ever, Bob could be boiled down to two traits: Being a walking Take That! towards "Whitty syndrome", and having an Irrational Hatred of Dream. In Bob's Onslaught and especially Vs Cheeky and Vs Bob And Bosip's crossover weeks, he starts showing much more personality.
  • Eldritch Abomination: By the time "run" starts, it becomes quite clear that Bob is more than just a silly-looking drawing.
    • Mechanical Abomination: Implied. In the ARG it's implied that Bob is an AI created by Lennon Noah. And in Vs Cheeky, the game over x-rays reveal that his body is seemingly made of binary code.
  • Flat Character: In Literally Every FNF Mod Ever, he is extremely generic, only really having a Berserk Button about being called Dream as his main character trait. His later appearances have fleshed him out considerably.
  • Hero Killer: When "run" starts, he's already killed Pico. This also applies if Boyfriend gets a game over during "Onslaught".
  • Hijacked by Ganon: Appears to be Bob's favorite strategy to fight against the Boyfriend, as he not only does it on Onslaught to infiltrate Ron's mod after the second song, in "Bob Takeover" bonus Week, he completely overrides the entire mod's plot from the beginning.
  • Hypocrite: While he gets pissed off PLENTY whenever Boyfriend compares to him Dream, he had no problem calling Boyfriend stupid when they met before "Sunshine".
  • Knight of Cerebus: Becomes this as of "run", becoming a latent antagonist against the Boyfriend ever since his first appearance.
  • Mugged for Disguise: Presumably murdered Bob and Bosip for their clothes.
  • Obfuscating Stupidity: If his dialogue in Onslaught is anything to go by, he was clearly just acting dumb during Week 1 to lower Boyfriend's guard.
  • Odd Friendship: Apparently, he's friends with Spong and Nupersovae!Bambi, mainly because of how hard their songs are.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Maybe not in Literally Every FNF Mod Ever, but he begins to pick up in harshness during Onslaught, and in the Bob Takeover, his dialogue is extremely crude.
Bob: you fucking bitch, i will find out where both of you live and make sure that both of your throats and wrists are slit wide open.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Ron during the "Bob Takeover" week, with the two gaslighting and insulting each other to see who gets to mic up against BF.
  • The Voiceless: Not counting the meme sounds, he and Ron are the only opponents in VS Bob And Bosip to not have voice actors, since their original mod didn't have voice acting.
  • Would Hurt a Child: Bob kills Ron, who is in his mid to late teens.
  • You Are What You Hate: Played for Laughs. His EX outfit in VS Bob And Bosip is Dream as he appears in the music video for "Mask" (including the infamous "normal pills,") and "Copy Cat EX" is set in the Dream SMP.

    Ron
What's wrong with you? You lookin like a uuuhh umm you look like an uuuh you kinda look like an uhh... https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a5a36fce_5748_42e7_9624_b1f7153d04de.png
"Bob Takeover" form
A humanoid with a desktop folder as a head.
  • Art Shift: In VS Bob And Bosip's "Bob Takeover" week, Ron transforms into biggayrapper (of "STOP POSTING ABOUT AMONG US!" fame) for a brief duration of "Ronald McDonald Slide". It appears this ability runs in the blood for people living in Bob's world.
  • Back from the Dead: Ron returns to fight Boyfriend alongside Bob during the Bob Takeover.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: As stupid he may look like, his songs aren't a pushover to beat, especially "Ronald McDonald Slide", to the point where on of the loading screen tips claims that Cerbera, the mod's charter, died and resurrected three separate times while charting its Harder Than Hard EX version.
  • Break the Haughty: In "Bob's Onslaught", Ron was a Straw Misogynist and a jerk (albeit a Graceful Loser). In "Bob Takeover", while mostly cheerful, he briefly goes on a rant about what he's been through in between the two mods.
  • Chef of Iron: Ron appears to have a cooking show in Vs Cheeky, and he's still the silly yet strong opponent he usually is.
  • Cold-Blooded Torture: According to the Bob Takeover, after the events of Onslaught, Bob tortured Ron for years on end for no reason other than personal satisfaction. It appears to have taken a toll on Ron's mental health, as he screams for the player to please get him out of the game not too long after.
  • The Ditz: When first meeting Boyfriend, he tries to insult him, only to struggle to come up with something clever that his mumbling goes off the text box.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: In the "Bob Takeover" week in the Bob & Bosip mod, just as Ron's about to transform as with various other third phase transformation mods, he's suddenly hit by a car as the mod ends with a To Be Continued screen. The menu screen then depicts his mutilated body.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: Didn't make an appearance in the older versions of the mod.
  • Hidden Depths: As shown in Vs Cheeky, who knew that Ron was a chef?
  • Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: How Bob kills him.
  • Medium Awareness: During the Bob Takeover, Ron makes it clear that he knows he's in a mod, he knows who his creators are, he knows what Twitter is, and knows the player is possibly recording a gameplay for the Bob and Bosip mod, an interesting feature considering that aside of being able to mess with the player's browser, Bob of all people hasn't shown any signs of this so far.
  • Straw Misogynist: Claims to hate women because "cool guys hate women". In his appearance in Vs Cheeky, he even has "I HATE WEMON (sic)" on his fridge.
  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: In Bob Takeover, if Ron detects OBS running in the background, he will turn to the player to beg him to please stop recording and to get him out of the game. He also calls out the game's developers for tweeting images of his dead body for their amusement.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: With Bob during the "Bob Takeover" week, with the two gaslighting and insulting each other to see who gets to mic up against BF.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: In his appearance in Vs. Cheeky, he doesn't suffer any of his usual misfortune (outside of having to deal with Boyfriend).
  • True Neutral: Originally had nothing to do with Bob and doesn't show any heroic or villainous trait; he also has signs of normally being a Graceful Loser after giving BF a thumbs up upon defeat in "Ron". In Bob Takeover he shows no ill will towards Boyfriend even as he threatens him to undergo the obligatory last song transformation.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: Right after his song, his mod — and his life — are cut short and hijacked by Bob. Averted with Bob Takeover as we get to see more of him, and he tells his story about his relation to Bob.

    Spoiler Opponent

Little Man

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/662722de_5236_4bdd_9e75_adc9a9fe1f3b.png
Big Man
A secret character whose song can only be accessed through Freeplay. Little Man is a perpetually angry, pint-sized fellow, who has a penchant for long songs and making glass breaking noises.
  • Ascended Extra: Goes from an Optional Boss to having his own week in the Little Man 2 week.
  • The Alcoholic: Seen with a bunch of bottles during the intro cutscene of his sequel mod, and is confirmed to be an alcoholic by one of the mod's crew members.
  • Angry Eyebrows: Constantly sports these along with a frown throughout the song.
  • Art Shift: He turns into both CalebCity and John Captain during their respective references in his song (or in the case of Tankman, a complete rip of his vocals). In Little Man 2, he warps into even more bizarre characters.
  • Ambiguously Related: He looks quite similar to Bob, possibly hinting the two might be related somehow. It doesn't help that Bob appears to know Little Man's song.
  • Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!: In Little Man 2, at one point he stops the song entirely to play Clash of Clans, not even stopping when Boyfriend tries to catch his attention again.
  • Beware the Silly Ones: Not only does he outright attempt to murder Boyfriend with a sniper rifle in the updated "Little Man", he is one of the rare mod characters to actually defeat Boyfriend in the Little Man 2 week.
  • Brown Note: His voice in his 'Big Man' form is so loud and powerful that the second Boyfriend attempts to copy it, he immediately explodes.
  • Cute, but Cacophonic: While he may be tiny, his voice is really high-pitched, befitting his small stature. And that's not mentioning the glass breaking noises that are sprinkled throughout the song.
  • Dropped a Bridge on Him: Dies shortly after beating Boyfriend in Big Man, somehow from lead poisoning. Maybe.
  • Hero Killer: In Big Man, Boyfriend ends up popping in the middle of his first verse. And his remains turn into a picture of a crying Spongebob. Also in the updated Little Man, he shoots Boyfriend with a sniper rifle after the Tankman section, though he somehow gets back up perfectly fine after Tankman subs for him.
  • Little People: He's a man... and he's indeed little.
  • Make My Monster Grow: Can size up into Big Man if he's sufficiently angered, growing into about 1.5x the size of his house (for context, regularly he can't even reach the door handle of his house).
  • Marathon Boss: His song is particularly long (try 7 minutes and 34 seconds!). It doesn't get any better in "Little Man 2", with his new titular song being 20 minutes and 27 seconds. note  Inverted as Big Man; his song only lasts 11 seconds.
  • Meaningful Name: His name is Little Man, and he's — in fact — a little man. And when he's big, he's a big man.
  • Older Than They Look: He's 27.
  • Only Friend: Ron appears to be this to them, seeing as how they cry to a portrait of them in their house.
  • Optional Boss: Can only be faced through the Freeplay menu.
  • Outside-Context Problem: Assuming that the player is most likely going to come across him after defeating Bob in "Onslaught". There is no explanation as to who he is, why he's here, why he wants to rap Boyfriend, or how did Ron's reality suddenly went back to normal. He just manifests and battles Boyfriend.
    • Inverted in "Little Man 2". He's just living a normal day... until Boyfriend crashes through his window for no reason and provokes him.
  • Perpetual Frowner: Always has an angry face on his mug.
  • Pyrrhic Victory: Manages to kill Boyfriend in his song (maybe), but shortly after that, dies from lead poisoning.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: Considering a point in his song has him rapidly dropping the F-bomb continuously for a good while, this trope applies rather well.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Transforms into both CalebCity and John Captain at two points in the song, complete with their voices (And sounds in CalebCity's case). In Little Man 2, he warps into even more bizarre characters, including an Among Us character, a capybara, and even a full-screen video of Arcade Craniacs.
  • Walking Spoiler: Telling someone that Little Man exists ruins his purpose as a Giant Space Flea Out Of Nowhere.

    Spoiler Character

Lennon Noah

A character named exclusively in the non-canon ARG.
  • Cerebus Retcon: Lennon was a man who researched AI who grew too attached to his best one yet, Bob, which he tried to give a physical body through the use of a cybernetic black goo. The former changes Bob's status as a silly Eldritch Abomination Played for Laughs to a Mechanical Abomination Played for Horror, explaining his ability to mess with the player's browser and the game, the latter explaining his final form inside Bob's Onslaught as a representation of said goop.
  • Domestic Abuse: The cease and desist order reveals him to be an abusive husband towards his wife.
  • The Ghost: He's never encountered in the mod itself, being only mentioned in the ARG.
  • Greater-Scope Villain: Implied to be the one to have created Bob.
  • Knight of Cerebus: The mod's lore becomes even darker when you learn about him.
  • Mad Scientist: Mad enough to cause himself harm for the sake of giving one of his A.I.s a body.
  • Pygmalion Plot: While at first a non-romantic example, however, Lennon's complete devotion to giving the AI of Bob a physical form to the point of distancing and risking him and his family it could be very well debatible.
  • Walking Spoiler: Talking about Lennon's existence or the ARG in general ruins the surprise that the rabbit's hole goes deeper past the game.
