King of the demi-human nation of Mismede.
  • Animal Eyes: Interestingly, he's the only beastman thus far that is noted to have the eyes of his animal counterpart.
  • Blood Knight: He won't hesitate to jump at the chance to spar with strong individuals, even if they're fellow world leaders.
  • Boisterous Bruiser: He loves a good fight, and challenges Touya to a friendly duel.
  • Explaining Your Powers to the Enemy: During his duel with Touya, he explains how his Accel spell works when asked. Justified because Null magic is supposed to be unique to its user, and he had no idea Touya could copy them. Further justified because it was just a friendly duel.
  • Flash Step: His Accel Null Magic spell.
  • The Good King: He wanted to open trade with Belfast. In addition, when traveling as King Incognito, he apologizes profusely after bumping into a commoner.
  • Graceful Loser: Double Subverted. He was pretty bitter about losing to Touya because of the Slip spell, but when Touya defeats him fair and square, he's fine with it and says he needs to improve.
  • King Incognito: He states that it's a hobby of his to wander around the kingdom in disguise to clear his thoughts.
  • Little Bit Beastly: He's a snow leopard beastman, and as such he has the ears, tail, and even the eyes of one.
  • Master of All: He briefly gains all of Touya's powers during the final battle against the Mutant Phrase through the use of a magic app that had been distributed to everyone's smartphones.
  • Paper-Thin Disguise: He and Touya try to help Lyon in a fight by wearing party masks to hide their identities. It fails, to hilarious results.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: He is a very gracious host to Touya and his party.
  • Shipper on Deck: He joins Touya, Arma, and Yumina in trying to hook up Lyon and Olga. Later, he's overjoyed to hear that Touya became engaged to Leen, his former Court Mage.
  • Super-Speed: His Null magic ability is Accel, which he uses to Flash Step in combat.

    Glatz

A Bird Beastman and the Chancellor of Mismede.

  • Honest Advisor: He's completely unafraid to tell off the Beastking for his antics, as they often get in the way of official business. He encourages Touya to go all out on the king in their mock battle in the hopes that it teaches him some humility.
  • Master of All: He briefly gains all of Touya's powers during the final battle against the Mutant Phrase through the use of a magic app that had been distributed to everyone's smartphones.
  • Winged Humanoid: As a Bird Beastman, he has feathered wings on his back.

    Olba Strand

Voiced by: Masaaki Ihara (Japanese), Alex Hom (English)

A beastman merchant and the father of Olga and Arma.

  • Adapted Out: His introduction at the banquet in Mismede was left out of the anime.
  • Intrepid Merchant: He's travelled far and wide to seek out interesting goods for his company to sell. Although he prefers Brunhild, as Touya is a veritable fountain of merchandise opportunities.
  • Little Bit Beastly: He's a fox derivative beastman, and has the ears and tail of one.
  • Polyamory: He has two wives.

    Arisa and Irma Strand
The wives of Olba Strand. Arisa is the mother of Ikusa Strand, while Irma is the mother of Olga and Arma.
  • Little Bit Beastly: They're both fox derivative beastwomen, and have the ears and tails to match.
  • Polyamory: They're both married to Olba.

    Olga Strand

Voiced by: Kikuko Inoue (Japanese), Amber Lee Connors (English), Betzabé Jara (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/olga_strand_anime.png
A demi-human ambassador to Belfast.
  • Actor Allusion: The joke about Origa being 17 years old and other characters respond with "Oi! Oi!" in the eyecatches is a reference to her voice actress Kikuko Inoue who always says she's 17 years old and her fans would refute her jokingly with "Oi! Oi!" (roughly equivalent to "really?").
  • Beta Couple: She and Lyon become an active couple early in the series.
  • Big Ol' Eyebrows: Her eyebrows are noticeably bushier than those of other characters.
  • Fall Guy: She was framed for the attempted murder of the King of Belfast, and was only saved by Touya's timely intervention.
  • Little Bit Beastly: She's a fox derivative beastwoman, and has the ears and tail of one.
  • Put on a Bus: She hasn't made an appearance in the series since her and Lyon's wedding.

    Arma Strand

Voiced by: Honoka Inoue (Japanese), Bryn Apprill (English), Fernanda Gastélum (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/arma_strand_anime.png
Olga's younger sister.
  • Little Bit Beastly: She's a fox derivative beastwoman, and has the ears and tail of one.
  • The Matchmaker: She helps give Lyon the means to woo her sister.
  • Missing Child: She briefly got separated from Olga while shopping in Belfast, but Touya found her and helped her find her way back.
  • Shipper on Deck: She really wants her sister and Lyon to be together, and succeeds.

    Garm

Voiced by: Taishi Murata (Japanese), Chris Rager (English), Armando Coria (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/garen_1.png

A wolf beastman and a high ranking Mismedian knight. He's the older brother of Nore Siberia.

    Eris
Matriarch of the Fairies. She's an old friend of Leen's.

    The Red Dragon

Voiced by: Hidekatsu Shibata (Japanese), Héctor Moreno (Latin American Spanish)

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/red_dragon_in_another_world_with_my_smartphone.png

An Elder Dragon who oversees the dragon territory known as the Sanctuary Grounds in Mismede.

  • Apologizes a Lot: Most of the time he's around, he's apologizing for something. The first time Touya met him, he was apologizing for the Black Dragon that ran amok and attacked a nearby village. The second time Touya met him he was apologizing for being unable to control the younger dragons who fled to Dragoness Island to serve the Dragon King.
  • Delightful Dragon: He's one of the few friendly dragons met in the series.
  • Underestimating Badassery: When he comes upon the corpse of the Black Dragon, he wrongfully assumes that it only perished because Kohaku, the White Monarch, was present. Kohaku corrects him that Touya was the one who killed it, and the Red Dragon is astonished to learn that a human has become the master of the White Monarch.

    The Black Dragon
A young dragon who attacked Eld Village in Mismede and was promptly slain by Touya's party.

    The Dragon King
A member of the Dragonkin race who found a stash of Dominant Resonance Needles and attempted to lead an army of dragons against humanity.
  • Accidental Public Confession: He had tricked the young dragons into serving him with the threat of controlling them all with the Dominant Resonance Needles. Touya goads him into revealing to the dragons that the artifact in question doesn't let him control more than one dragon at a time.
  • Draconic Humanoid: As a member of the dragonkin, he had tan skin, horns, a tail, and splotches of scales on his limbs.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: One of his own subordinates bites him in half in retaliation for tricking them.
  • Master Race: He saw dragons and his fellow dragonkin as this, and sought to conquer every other race out of a perceived sense of superiority. He made the mistake of assuming that the dragons saw dragonkin as equals.
  • No Name Given: He dies before his name is revealed.
  • Underestimating Badassery: He underestimated the power of everyone that wasn't a dragon or dragonkin, and he and his subordinates paid the ultimate price for it.
  • We Hardly Knew Ye: He dies almost immediately after he's introduced.
