- Outliving One's Offspring: Thanks to God's lightning, their firstborn died and got reincarnated in another world.
Touichirou Mochizuki
Touya Mouchizuki's father.- Henpecked Husband: He's rather submissive towards his wife. Touya takes after him in this regard.
- Sequential Artist: He works as a manga artist.
- Strong Family Resemblance: He looks like a slightly older version of his son Touya.
Tsuzuri Mochizuki
Touya Mouchizuki's mother.- Almighty Mom: When God Almighty appears in her dreams to apologize for killing Touya, she gets pissed off enough to try attacking him, an act that even frightens God a little.
- Amazingly Embarrassing Parent: Happily talked about Touya's first crush, and an incident in which Touya built and rode a raft to his elementary school only to go missing, to Touya's wives.
- Artists Are Attractive: She's a picture book artist and quite a looker.
- Headbutt of Love: Deconstructed. After lovingly hugging her son upon their reunion, she gave him a strong headbutt and chastised him for dying to lightning.
- Motherly Side Plait: She's a lovely mother who wears her hair in a loose ponytail over her right shoulder.
Fuyuka Mochizuki
Touya Mouchizuki's baby sister who was born sometime after his death.
- Hero of Another Story: The narration indicated that she'll grow up to have her own adventures alongside her pet dog Shiro.
- Posthumous Sibling: She was born after her older brother Touya's death.
- Practically Different Generations: Her older brother was already a teenager when he got reincarnated and she was born soon after.
- Straying Baby: She has a tendency for this, as she tried to find her way outside when Shiro first appeared in their yard.
Shiro
The Mouchizuki family's pet dog.
- The Atoner: She was the one in charge of the Servile God that fled to Touya's world and wrecked havoc. She took on the role of Fuyuka's protector to atone for the grief the Servile God caused for Touya and his world's inhabitants.
- A Form You Are Comfortable With: She's a goddess who has taken on the form of a dog to watch over Fuyuka.
- God Was My Co-Pilot: She's secretly a goddess in disguise.
- Guardian Entity: She's a disguised deity tasked with protecting Fuyuka.
- Healing Hands: She has a healing ability just in case Fuyuka ever gets grievously injured.
Himura
Touya Mouchizuki's friend from middle school.
- The Conscience: Would often tell Touya when he felt he was going to far in dealing with thugs. His protests ultimately fell on deaf ears, however.
- A Day in the Limelight: Interlude I in Volume 21 is told from his perspective, detailing how he handled Touya's death, as well as his apprenticeship with Touya's father.
- Friendless Background: He started middle school with kids avoiding him since he looked like a delinquent, but thanks to Touya he learned how to come out of his shell and lead a better school life.
- Or Was It a Dream?: He begins having dreams where God shows him visions of Touya's adventures in another world, and he decides to write a manga series based on them. Unbeknownst to Himura, they aren't dreams, as God is literally showing him everything Touya has done in his new world.
- Replacement Goldfish: Downplayed. He visited and helped out Touya's parents after his death, and eventually became Touichirou's assistant.
Kuon Mochizuki
Touya's grandfather from his mother's side.
- The Ghost: He died sometime before the story began.
- The Münchausen: Among his list of exploits are wrestling a bear and (allegedly) meeting an alien, and he has friends and acquaintances all over the place; from the Japanese Government to the criminal underground. Touya ended up living a similarly crazy life.
- Raised by Grandparents: Due to Touya's parents' busy work schedules, Kuon effectively raised him for most of his life.
- Skewed Priorities: When Tsuzuri chewed Touya out for trying to sail to school on a homemade raft, Kuon chewed him out for the raft's shoddy construction.
