Overlord Zelgadi von Xenoahs
- Acquired Poison Immunity: an ability from his clan.
- Brutal Honesty: When describing his sons to Touya, he rather bluntly describes Faron and Fareese as an idiot and a coward respectively.
- Color Failure: As shown in one of the illustrations in Volume 24, this was his initial reaction to meeting Yoshino.
- Daddy Had a Good Reason for Abandoning You: He chose not to take an active role in Sakura's life in order to protect her. When she was born, she lacked horns. The Overlord was afraid that the other nobles would see her as an affront to his lineage and make her life a living hell. He made the painful decision to strike Sakura's existence from the record, and relocate her and her mother to the home of his bodyguard Sirius in the hopes that she could live a normal life.
- Disability Immunity: He has the ability to turn his taste on and off, it was used when he made Touya eat his nation's meal
- Doting Grandparent: After a brief moment of shock after meeting Yoshino, he rebounds and becomes even more doting towards her than he was towards Sakura. He then let out a string of mad proposals. He tried to abdicate the throne to his oldest son right then and there so he could retire to Brunhild and spend time with her, and when his advisors forbade him from doing that, he tried to cease all commercial production in the country to change their main export to Yoshino's favorite candy.
- Doting Parent: At least when it comes to Sakura. He tries at every opportunity to spend time with her and talk to her, but she'd prefer not to give him the time of day. This isn't without good reason, as the Overlord does tend to take things too far.
- Horned Humanoid: While it's not specified what race of demonkin he belongs to, their magical prowess, and thus their right to rule, is dictated by how long their horns grow. They can even retract them into their skulls should the need arise.
- Master of All: He briefly gains all of Touya's powers during the final battle against the Mutant Phrase through the use of a magic app that had been distributed to everyone's smartphones.
- Nightmare Face: He has a bad habit of making these unintentionally, like during a story-time session at Brunhild's school.
- Older Than They Look: As standard for demonkin. He's several centuries old despite looking like a man in his twenties.
- Parents as People: He's deeply remorseful about abandoning Sakura and Fiana, and wishes he had had the strength to protect them.
- Sinister Scimitar: Seen wielding a saber against Mr. Mittens.
- Twerp Sweating: When Sakura first voiced her desire to marry Touya, the Overlord was very unhappy about it. After learning that Touya already had eight other fiances, he pulled him aside to have a little chat.
Faron von Xenoahs
The Overlord's oldest son, and the one that will one day succeed the throne.
- Dumb Muscle: He has shades of this, and his siblings are unafraid to point it out to him.
- Lawful Good: His father describes him as this in-universe. When Touya proposes that one of the princes planned the assassination attempt on Sakura, the Overlord said that Faron would more likely kill someone where they stood for even suggesting it.
- Missing Mom: His mother died when he was young.
Farese von Xenoahs
The second prince of Xenoahs.
- The Atoner: He willingly steps down from the line of succession to make up for his uncle's attempts to have Sakura assassinated.
- Bookworm: He loves reading, and asks Touya if he could visit Brunhild's library sometime.
- Missing Mom: Like Faron's, his mother died when he was young.
The Overlord's Ex-Wives
Two unnamed women who were formerly married to the Overlord. The first wife gave birth to Faron, while the second gave birth to Farese.
- The Lost Lenore: They're both this to the Overlord.
Sirius Frennel
The head of the Frennel household and personal bodyguard to the Overlord.
- Bodyguarding a Badass: The Overlord is feared for his magical prowess, but nonetheless has Sirius guarding him most hours of the day.
- Luckily, My Shield Will Protect Me: The warriors of the Frennel family utilize a signature shield-guard technique in battle.
- Older Than They Look: Naturally, as a Dark Elf. He's several centuries old, but looks like he's in his early twenties.
- Red Oni, Blue Oni: He's often the Blue to the Overlord's Red. While the Overlord is loud, outspoken, and often tries to make rash decisions, Sirius will act as the calm, collected voice of reason.
- Shield Bash: Members of the family use special dome-shaped shields with a single sharp protrusion in the center, which are used for bashing attacks.
Swellra Frennel
Sirius' wife.
- Feminine Women Can Cook: She sends a couple of raspberry pies she baked for Sakura, Touya, and the other fiances to enjoy. It was Sakura's favorite back when she lived in Xenoahs.
- Mum Looks Like a Sister: Touya states that had he not known better, he'd assume that Swellra and Spica were sisters rather than mother and daughter.
- Older Than They Look: Naturally, as a Dark Elf. She's several centuries old, but looks like she's in her early twenties.
Severus Arnos
The brother of the Overlord's second wife and the uncle of Farese.
- Ambition Is Evil: He plotted to have his nephew ascend the throne so that his merchant family would have proper ties to the ruler of the country.
- Arc Villain: Serving as part of the Big Bad Ensemble in the Demon Kingdom of Xenoahs arc alongside Gila. Arnos' own goal is to murder Sakura by hiring the Qulan, Yulong's assassins, so that he'll allow Farese, his nephew, to claim the throne and remove Sakura from the line of succession. On the other side, Gila's plan is to destroy Xenoskull, the capital, with an army of Phrase by targeting Radom first to kill Touya, Sakura and the rest.
- Assassination Attempt: He hired mercenaries from Yulong to kill Sakura and remove her from the line of succession in the hopes that his nephew would claim the throne.
- Our Demons Are Different: He's a type of demonkin known as a Mephisto, who are known for their glimmering blue hair.
