King Boulanger Frost Felzen
The current king of Felsen. He took the throne after his older brother passed away. He's engaged to Ellicia, a princess of Regulus.
- Bruiser with a Soft Center: Despite having the physique of a world-class bodybuilder, he's shockingly bashful and timid when it comes to matters of romance. He even carries around a bottle of perfume so that he always smells good for his fiancé.
- Collector of the Strange: He enjoys collecting weapons that once belonged to legendary heroes. Rather than the weapons themselves, he mainly enjoys the stories behind them; the heroic tales of their wielders.
- The Determinator: During the Ether Vehicle race on Drakliff Island, his car got stuck in a glue trap. Not willing to give up, he got out of his car and carried it out of the trap so he could finish the race.
- Good Scars, Evil Scars: When he was young, he got into a nasty fight with a Tigerbear that left his face scarred from the encounter.
- Magic Knight: While his preferred method of combat is a sword, he comes from a long line of powerful mages, and thus has a deep mana pool. That said, he doesn't use it to fire off spells, but rather to use the effects of enchanted weapons.
- Master of All: He briefly gains all of Touya's powers during the final battle against the Mutant Phrase through the use of a magic app that had been distributed to everyone's smartphones.
- Muscles Are Meaningful: He's the king of a magic-oriented kingdom, but he's very muscular and enjoys bodybuilding. Justified, as he only became king because his brother died.
- Teacher/Student Romance: Ellicia originally came to Felsen to study magic under him. Over time, they naturally fell in love, despite the fact that he's roughly twenty years older than her.
- Wall of Weapons: He has an entire room where he proudly displays a vast collection of weapons.
Ellicia Leah Regulus
A princess of Regulus and the fiancé of King Boulanger.
- Funny Background Event: As he and the king are talking about the Golden Order, Touya notices her playing around with the gate mirrors he had given to them with wonder in her eyes.
- Gadgeteer Genius: She eventually takes up magitechnology tinkering as a hobby. She learned how to build a gollem, and even helped construct Felsen's magic trains.
- Likes Older Men: If her fiancé is anything to go off of.
- Strong Family Resemblance: Touya notes that she looks like a slightly older version of Lucia.
- Teacher/Student Romance: She originally came to Felsen to study magic under the king. Over time, they naturally fell in love, despite the fact that he's roughly twenty years older than her.
Leord Frost Felsen
The former king of Felsen who died many years ago in a supposed magical experiment.
- Treachery Cover-Up: The truth about his death is that he died trying to bring down the Golden Order. The lie was to keep Felsen's citizens from growing worried about the order's influence.
- We Used to Be Friends: He saw Garland Goldie as family, and was heartbroken to learn that he was the head of the treacherous Golden Order. He went to take them on alone because of this betrayal.
Garland Goldie
The right-hand to the former king, and secretly the former leader of Gordian, the Golden Order.
- Alliterative Name: Garland Goldie.
- Super Supremacist: He believed that those who can wield magic are superior to those who could not. The purpose of the Golden Order was to enact an ancient spell known as Sanctuary that would force non-magic users into a hypnotic state of submission, allowing mages to rule over them.
- Stopped Reading Too Soon: Or rather, stopped researching too soon, as it's later revealed that Sanctuary isn't nearly as powerful as ancient texts made it out to be, making his treachery all for nothing.
- Taking You with Me: He used a powerful explosion spell during his fight with the former king, killing both of them as well as destroying evidence of Gordian's research.
Galzeld Goldie
The son of Garland Goldie who took over the Golden Order after his father's death.
- Alliterative Name: Galzeld Goldie.
- Barrier Warrior: He cast a powerful barrier over the Holy Emperor's castle to prevent the use of magic inside. As the caster, he was exempt from this.
- Follow in My Footsteps: He assumed control of the Golden Order after the death of his father, hoping to continue his work towards magic supremacy.
- The Not-So-Harmless Punishment: When Touya finally apprehends him, he brings back the infamous box he used to take down General Bazoar in Regulus, only this time turned up to eleven. On top of the foul-smelling corpse of a Sludge Slime inside the box, it was enchanted to assault the prisoner with the unending sound of Nails on a Blackboard. As the cherry on top, Touya then applied an illusion to make the prisoner think that a huge swarm of insects and other creepy critters were crawling under and over their skin. It unfortunately works a little too well, as Galzeld was so traumatized by the experience that the Felsen government couldn't get any info out of him when he was brought in for questioning.
- Public Execution: He was sent to the guillotine for his role in trying to overthrow Felsen.
- Squishy Wizard: He's completely helpless after Touya disables his ability to cast spells.
- Stopped Reading Too Soon: Just like his father, he didn't do enough research into how the Sanctuary spell worked. It's revealed by Dr. Babylon that not only is its range of effect not that great, but a constant stream of human sacrifices would be required to keep the spell active, making it non-sustainable in the long run. On top of that, anyone with even a slight amount of magical power would be able to resist its effects, making it worthless in a kingdom like Felsen.
- Super Supremacist: Also much like his father, he believed that mages were superior to non-mages.
- Villain Team-Up: He allied the Golden Order with Edgar Bowman as well as the current Heavenly Emperor of Yulong in order to construct an army of Frame Gear knockoffs with which to conquer Felsen.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: He says this nearly verbatim to Chieh Xiaofah when Touya attempts to use the false emperor as a meat shield.
Sol
A powerful knight working for the Golden Order.
- Public Execution: He, along with all the other high-ranking members of the Golden Order were executed for their crimes.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: He wears red armor with black accents.
- You Are What You Hate: He's an armored warrior that wields a shield and hatchet, yet he allied himself with an organization that wishes to institute supremacy over all non-mages.
