Ganossa Da Horn
The current King Regent of the Kingdom of Horn, and the younger brother of the late King.
- Good Old Ways: He supported his elder brother's view that Horn should continue their isolation and improve itself without resorting to outside influence.
- Revenge Before Reason: After the truth of his brother's death is revealed, he attempts to kill the assassin himself in a bout of anger. Touya manages to convince him to have them publicly executed so that their crimes could be laid bare for all to see.
Kuoh Da Horn
The infant grandson of the late King, and eventual King of Horn.
- A Child Shall Lead Them: He will step into his role as king once he comes of age.
- The Ghost: He's yet to make a physical appearance in the series.
Schwein Adante
The former Prime Minister of Horn and the father-in-law of the late Prince.
- Evil Chancellor: Ganossa thinks of him as this, and accuses him of orchestrating the death of the king. Ultimately Subverted, however.
- Near-Death Experience: He would have died if the South Spring Marquis hadn't requested to switch rooms with him. At least, that was what he was made to think.
Tonam Da Horn
The former King of Horn who died less than a week after his son.
- The Ghost: He was dead by the time he was introduced.
- Good Old Ways: He was against his son's proposition to opening Horn up to the outside world, believing that they could improve the country without outside help.
- Perfect Poison: He died almost instantly when an assassin mixed a tiny amount of a poisonous plant into his tea.
Kamra Da Horn
The former Prince of Horn who died in a freak accident.
- Accident, Not Murder: The Prime Minister's faction was convinced that the carriage malfunction that led to his death was caused by the King's Brother's faction. It's eventually revealed by the assassin that the Prince's death was completely coincidental, and nearly ruined his plan.
- Calling the Old Man Out: He would frequently get into heated arguments with his father over the King's unwillingness to end Horn's isolationist policies, as both men had different ideas for how to improve the country.
- The Ghost: He was dead by the time he was introduced.
Tauren Hanoi
The East Sea Marquis who rules over Horn's Eastern coastal territory.
- Not Himself: Touya noted at one point that he had begun to act strangely compared to how he was when they first met. This is eventually explained, however.
- Suspect Existence Failure: Not long after Touya's group concludes that he had something to do with the death of the South Spring Marquis, they discover that he'd been murdered as well.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: He's killed and replaced not long after Touya's group first meets him.
Nabyteo Schellmin
The South Spring Marquis who rules over Horn's Southern territory.
- Perfect Poison: He was killed when the assassin force-fed him a fast acting toxin that uses the body's own magic reserves to destroy their internal organs.
- Spot the Imposter: The Nabyteo that Touya met at the peace conference was secretly the assassin in disguise, and the actual man was murdered before Touya could meet him properly.
Hawkes Manius
The North Mountain Marquis who rules over Horn's Northern mountainous territory.
- Good Old Ways: He supported the former King's view that Horn should continue their isolation and improve itself without resorting to outside influence.
Seylia Swill
The West Forest Marquis who rules over Horn's Western woodland territory.
- Good Old Ways: She supported the former King's view that Horn should continue their isolation and improve itself without resorting to outside influence.
- Never the Obvious Suspect: The assassin had stolen her scarf and used it to strangle the East Sea Marquis to death, leaving it wrapped around the man's neck to make the West Forest Marquis look suspicious.
