"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm questioning the pronouns used for Ranma. Ranma is decidedly a guy (regardless of the body he's in at the time), so his pronouns should be he/him. Is there anything in later parts of the series that contradicts this?
Be that as it may, is it reasonable to use non-canonical pronouns here, because we're discussing fandom interpretations in which the characters are acting OOC and might conceivably not use the same gender identities as the canon portrayal? I'm not sure but I thought I'd bring it up.
Only the curious have, if they live, a tale worth telling at all.Am I the only person who never saw ho-yay in every freaking character in Lot R?! It's impossible to read anything interesting about the series because half the jokes are about how everyone is gay for the hobbits! I understand the frodo/sam a bit, but everything else seems to be an ass pull from some slashfic-fangirl (not meaning to offend).
Hide / Show RepliesJust stick to reading Tolkien, no derpy fangirls trying to twist characterization to fit this trope. I don't see anyone as gay in Lord of the Rings either, but I just stick to the source material.
Shouldn't this be YMMV since it's a fan reaction?
