openReally messed up martial arts manga. Anime
Don't know to put this under Anime or Print Comic so I made an educated guess. Trying to remember a manga I was reading a while back, about a high school kid who kills his family, gets sent to prison, learns martial arts and turns into an absolute monster. It's not Ichi the Killer neither. Ring any bells?
openanyone have a TV in the 1950's? Live Action TV
got a tv in 1954... Hamilton, Ontario. there was a show about a store clerk who had a robot that came to assist whenever there was a problem. Anyone remember it?
openOnce upon a Classic or a children's mystery series on PBS in the 1970s Live Action TV
There was a series of episodes on Once Upon a Classic or some other Masterpiece Theater-like show, in the 1970s that was about a little girl who keeps seeing this strange man, but he disappears before she can find him. There was a mystery surrounding the man. These are the only two characters I can remember in the show, a little girl and a man, but I am almost positive that it ran on PBS. It also may have been a brief mystery series for children. I know this is very vague in detail, but it is all that I can recall about it. It's been over 35 years, but I would love to know the name of the episode(s).
Edited by FanaticalElveropena tv show where a man gets sucked out of a plane but a lady is saved Live Action TV

Edited by BinditheskunkopenShow involving Live Action and CGI video game world Live Action TV
I remember a show about a female lead. The game would switch between live action and the main character going into a video game through some kind of portal. She eventually gained help from friends she made in the real world. I also remember that between the first and second season she beat the "game" and came out in the real world in a whole new location without her friends, so she made new friends to help her best the next level. I think the show had at least 3 seasons. If it helps I believe it aired on YTV. I think it was early 2000's. It's been a long time since I've seen this show.
openA certain Boy Meets World episode Live Action TV
I saw a clip of it once on a Youtube Poop, where Morgan hits her dress with an umbrella, but I am not sure as to what episode was it from.
openAnimesque TV show about kids/teens in space (Art style ~= Martin Mystery/Totally Spies...) Western Animation
To any Canadians, or people who got Teletoon and Y-TV, does anyone remember this show? I asked a friend of mine, but they said they couldn't tell if I was kidding. Anywho, it was an interesting show, from what vague recollections I have.... the most prominent thing that stands out in my mind, was the main cast visiting a water planet; and from a different episode, the teen male lead meets a alien chick whose parents are, like, anglerfish-parasite'd onto her neck.
openRetro magical girl anime with a blonde protagonist? Anime
No, it wasn't Sailor Moon.
I can't remember which series this is and looking through Magical Girl didn't help. It's a 80s or 90s Magical Girl, or possibly Cute Witch, anime where the lead is a blonde girl of around 8-13 years old. I know it wasn't Ririka SOS . It might be Akazukin Chacha but I'm not certain.
openA shojo comic about a swan prince, or a guy with a swan wing Print Comic
This manga is about a girl who falls in love with a guy, cursed with a swan wing for an arm. Is a shojo manga. Her father, a king I believe, is quite the bishonen. I'm looking for the name, that's all.
openHorror movie? Film
This show is about a girl who was born on a certain day and she was like the Devils something after her birthday? I remember her being taken away in a white van?
openSong heard in some kind of commercial or something years ago. Music
This one goes way back to when I was younger, I'd say some time before 2009. It was an ad on the TV Guide channel that played one night, and had this odd song in it. It was a whistling segment that sounds similar to the stereotypical "Japan" theme, and the visuals were like, very poorly animated.
Edited by IsaacBindingFullertonopenTrippy Children's Films Film
When I was around 4 or 5 years old, the family had some movies on VHS tapes that I would watch over and over and over (and drive everyone else insane), but there were 2 related ones that I remember the most.
One was about two kids who drew a picture together whose dog chases a stick into the painting and ends up putting the kids through a colorful adventure with silly songs and a surprising amount of Fantastic Racism (the only person who loves every color is the one who has none on her, and every time she suggests a duet between two-different colored folks, they always respond with an I Need to Go Iron My Dog excuse). It also serves as an aesop that everyone is beautiful no matter what color they are, which they only learn after the aforementioned colorless person gets injured. A few of the characters from that I can remember are...
- The green teens who always speak in unison
- Their friends the frogs who have seen strange things or so they sing down by the bay.
- The blue trio who never stop singing "Poor Old Michael Finnigan" solely because the song's chorus always states "Begin again."
- The talking tree who introduces the kids to the world
- And the colorless person who wishes everyone would sing together regardless of preference.
The other one involves a trio (I think) of kids who go into their grandparents' (or at least I think it's their grandparents, I'm a little foggy on that one) and somehow shrink down to play with the toys that are hiding around there. The toys' idea of playing seem to be a bunch of loosely-connected musical numbers, which the kids are happy to participate in. The toys I can remember are...
- A Non-Ironic Clown who is often the first to initiate the musical numbers.
- A cookie jar who has an intimidatingly deep voice and only really appears in two musical numbers
I think they were made by the same studio, and/or shared some cast and crew members, hence why I've grouped them both together.
openHelp Live Action TV
OK so this family moves into a weird town where people are to scared to talk about what's going on. The mom starts poking around and finds a hatch in this abandoned lot. I'm not sure if this next scene is part of the same show but at one point someone traps this little boy in a room where there's a set time to take him out before the gas is turned on and he dies. Just when the mom thought it was over this man breaks in and manages to get him out.
openBook series where boy keeps getting transformed into stuff Literature
Looking for a children's book series where a boy keeps getting transformed into various things, I think maybe to teach him some moral or something like that. Was probably a Christian book series, because I remember seeing it a lot in my local Christian bookshop.
openExtreme Hungry Hippos Western Animation
I remember a scene from a cartoon aired between 2000 and 2006 where the characters played a scaled-up version of the board game Hungry Hippos with some variations. In this case large balls would be released into a maze and the characters would then have to navigate the hippo heads to them and collect as many as possible.
openAnthropomorphic Cat Police officer? Western Animation
The show would always start with a normal, non-anthro cat living with a normal family, before they- the voice was pretty androgynous- would go to sleep and the majority of the show would be the cat's dream sequence. The Police Commissioner/boss was a teddy bear that I think he had as a toy in real life. I remember that he once spent the whole episode moaning about not getting a cuppa, and when he was finally able to, the water was shut off thanks to some maintenance workers. When the show ended, the cat would wake up again. Any ideas?
openWhat comic is this? Print Comic
I saw a screencap of it a year or two ago. It's been circling online.
It was either DC or Marvel, but most likely Marvel. All I remember was that it involved a female character liking cat videos.
openOld Movie From 2010 or something Film
Okay, so there was this movie I remember watching. It starts with this boy crashing his motorcycle into someone's pool and getting into trouble, and his stepdad comes to save him (may or may not be from the same movie now that I think about it, idk). Basically, he decides to start looking for his dad and him and his stepdad team up with this crazy guy and his daughter and use a helicopter (I think) to search for him. They get caught in a storm and end up on a strange island where really big animals are small and small animals are big. They get in trouble with an animal and the guy's dad they've been searching for comes to save them or something. They reunite, find out the island is going to flood, and take a route to get to the boat and escape. They run into a whole lot of trouble along the way (I seem to remember the mc getting a dislocated leg or something) but they finally make it. Then they find out the boat has no power so they charge it using cables and the giant electric eel and escape. Anyone got any clue what it is???
openMagical girl anime Anime
I don't remember too much unfortunately. It was properly a magical girl anime aired around early 2000's or maybe late 90's. I watched dubbed so can't tell when the original aired. The main character was a high school girl who could transform into a fairy-like/angelic person with wings. She had a rival (maybe even love interest) who was also a student at the school. He had no powers but had combat skills and probably weapons. He wore white clothing, which include a half-mask (i.e. it covered the lower half of his face, up till his nose). He also had blue hair. The one scene I remember is when they went on a date to a funfair and on the Ferris wheel, they were both alerted to some incident and both had to make up excuses to leave (they are unaware of each others secret identities).
I know it's a generic description.
This anime was on Time Warner Cable's anime on demand service years ago. The episode had a scene of a girl doing ballet or some other dance. It's not Princess Tutu
