The protagonist is a boy living in either Alaska or Canada with his grandfather. He needs to make money (I think his grandfather is sick), and his grandfather won't let him take money out of his college funds. The boy trains his dog as a sled dog and they enter a race for a cash prize. They are about to win and the dog's heart bursts and it dies right before the finish line. Another competitor takes out his gun and threatens to shoot anyone who crosses the finish line before the boy. The boy carries his dog's body over the line.
That was just as depressing to think about the second time.

A couple weeks ago I found some site that was part of the Cheezeburger network that was probably a section of a huge site, it had countless My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic pictures referred to as Bronies instead of memes, but many of them were actually comics like what I expect to find on Deviant Art or 4chan. What site was it?

The show i'm looking for is either anime or a Western Animation, but it was in english. Its was about a race between a load of different species to become the avatar of the universe or god, not sure which, but it was mostly based around a girl who started in a boarding school her father had left her in, and follows her from there. In the first episode it shows her getting a part for a hover scooter which she uses to escape the school, she then go's to where her father is working and he doesn't recognize her, so she pretends to be part of the crew for their (earths) ship, she later becomes the pilot of the ship for the races, after the original one is injured, the ship is shaped like this |.| with the dot being the pilots control area, theres also a gunner on the ship, it ends with the gunner becoming the avatar/god and her and her father going to her mothers grave.

Recently I saw a You Tube video that had the audio of the Star Trek The Next Generation scene where Q says to Picard "Welcome to the after-life Jean Luc, you're dead." but it was with Twilight Sparkle and Discord, and it was edited so they were surrounded by nothing but empty white light like in the real scene. I can't think for the life of me what to search for. And I think I actually saw two or three videos like this the same night but one of them might have been more You Tube-poopish. Does anyone know how to find videos of this? If you know of more than one please link me to them all. Thanks.

Does anyone remember an old Passover special that was shown on PBS, sometime around the mid-1990s, early 2000s? It was made using puppets, Jim Henson style. When they got to the part where the Israelites had to put lamb's blood on the doorframes, you saw a red cross nurse drawing blood from a little lamb.

Looking for a Japanese(I think) film I saw only as footage from a music video. It's the story of a guy who meets a woman, and it turns out the woman is a psycho who keeps her previous boyfriend paralyzed(she used needles to permanently damage his tendons, I believe) and mummified in her apartment. Pretty sure it ended badly.

Short story, part of a science fiction collection. It involves a woman whose husband is off on a business trip, so she has a friend of her husband come over to visit her. She realizes her loneliness and her attraction to him, and therefore seduces him (I seem to remember the start of it involving her asking him to stay there while she takes a shower and then coming back with the towel. They have torrid sex and while she's running her hands through his hair, she dislodges the wig and it's revealed that it's her husband dressed up as his friend whereupon he wishes her a happy birthday. I remember that when I first read it (probably around the early 90s), I saw it as her getting caught in the act with him having played this trick on her to let her have her wild fling while staying in the bounds of marriage and when I read it as an adult, I realized that they were probably role-playing from the start.

I remember this cartoon, though I can't find a TV tropes page about it anywhere, called "Mummy Nanny". It was originally German or French, and the English version aired on the UK channel "Pop". It was about an Egyptian mummy who works as a Nanny, as the name implies. Anyone else know of it?
open(SOLVED) Droopy cartoon Western Animation

It's a fantasy book for teens or children. Baby foxes are being born deformed. As foxes are beings of magic, this means the magic of the forest is dying.
An olive skinned witch meets with her human friend to try to find how to restore the forest's magic. She goes to find her aunt(?)/teacher in her snail-shell shaped spiraling house only to find her dead as a pile of dust.
I never finished the book. If it helps the main characters were no older than teenagers and I think the witch was described as plain. It mentioned her olive skin a lot.

I remember a children's story where a cat hero is in the presence of someone important (like a king or queen). The cat misjudges a pounce and lands on the important person's lap, offending them.

A kid's TV show, kind of looking like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as humans in mostly flesh-toned Muppet suits. There are also a few odd human characters. One plot involved a girl muppet befriending a sleazy (human) reporter with big, wavy hair named Scoop. They sing together about "The Big Picture" and all her other friends are very concerned about it. A personal acquaintance is convinced this is from another show entirely, but I think the reporter is plotting to confuse a character with a horseish head into chopping down a beloved town tree instead of the old dying sycamore next to it.

It's a series of television ads actually, but there's no category for that: the gimmick was kind of a variation on Waxing Lyrical - two people would be having a conversation, and not only would one person only respond in lines from one particular song, but they would be lip syncing and dancing to actual clips of the song that came out of nowhere. Typically, the other person might notice that they were saying something odd, but not that they suddenly had their voice entirely replaced by song clips. The two I specifically remember used Billy Idol's "White Wedding" and Patti Labelle's "Lady Marmalade". At one point in the "Lady Marmalade" one, a woman answered a request to pick up some coffee with "mocha chocolate yaya!", and the other person just said something like "no, just the regular kind is fine". I'm asking about this to answer the question of What Were They Selling Again?, though my best guess is satellite radio.

Does anyone know anything about a Yotsuba doujinshi with the premise of it being a doujinshi "that chronicles how Yotsuba met mister Koiwai. He was working in the peace corps in a ruined village when a dirty, impoverished, and orphaned Yotsuba approached him nervously."?

Short film, along the lines of Precious Images except with famous quotes instead of graphics. It was playing on a screen in a museum, probably the Museum of the Moving Image, and may have played during a WGA Awards ceremony.
The famous quotes were occasionally intercut with shots of scripts, with the stage directions show being read aloud and with a shot of the actual footage playing transparently over it.
All help is appreciated.
I saw an episode of Cow And Chicken where Chicken was playing duck duck goose, and one duck turned into a dragon. It had something to do with video games and kicking a can.
