Should tropes related to things that existed in previous versions of the game but no longer apply (like reworks) be kept?

We still trope things that happened before they were retconned. That version of the game was publicly released and that information is externally verifiable. I would keep these tropes and note which versions the trope applied in. (eg. In 1.0 Alice had a flashbang, this was removed in 1.2)

While it would be helpful to have tropes describing their current loadouts, I don't feel that previous ones are worth a mention.

This is not a gameplay wiki, mind — it's a trope wiki. If a trope applied before but no longer does, that doesn't mean we remove the trope entry, we just amend it.

Plus, some games (such as Minecraft) keep their outdated versions accessible and playable.

For Early Access games and ones that stumble through multiple development cycles or need to be repeatedly patched, I feel it's acceptable to preface the entry with something along the lines of: "In version Alpha 7.1.3 C-9, blah blah would happen..."

Of course, this might need to be confined to the YMMV page or similar categories to keep the tall tales out of the main page. I've seen Game-Breaking Bug write-ups heavily abused on some main pages and I don't like it, but I also don't like policing people on how to write about games they love. My rule of thumb is keep the non-recreatable glitches (that is, ones that occur completely at random) in YMMV but well-known exploits or bugs can be expounded on in Main because everyone who's played it on release has probably experienced the same thing and can relate easier.

This is why I haven't even looked at the Cyberpunk 2077 (2020 Videgame) page yet. My head would probably explode if I did.

That's... super not how it works. The YMMV subpage is for listing YMMV items. If an objective trope existed in an older version, you can't decide to put it on YMMV just because you're not sure it can be confirmed.

Aye, despite a common misconception, the YMMV page is only for things that have the YMMV banner(s).

eta: Comma now in.

^ I think you're missing a comma there, if I didn't already know what you meant I could've got the wrong idea.
