Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

For every low there is a high.Seems like Darker and Edgier was the first one, if the date in the sidebar is accurate.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBumping for info on tone shifts.
For every low there is a high. This should probably be asked in Trope Talk.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessWhy? Can you please give me a proper guide on what I should Take To The Forums and which stuff is fine to ask here?
For every low there is a high. This is more for reporting problematic tropers, asking questions about policy, or other random questions about the wiki that don't fit anywhere else. Questions about tropes and what sort of things apply to said tropes fit better in the Trope Talk forum.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOK, thanks for the info.
For every low there is a high.
Y'know, like Darker and Edgier, Lighter and Softer, Hotter and Sexier, Denser and Wackier, etc.
Which one came first?
Also, I'd like to make a page for "Dark Parody" because Dark Fic only covers fanfiction and not, say, episodes of shows which parody works, but I'm worried that Darker and Edgier already covers that, but then again, it's theoretically only applying to a Tone Shift, so are the "Xer and Yer" tropes solely about Tone Shifts? Because I've seen them used for parodies, fanfiction, etc.
