- Gory Discretion Shot, Shadow Discretion Shot, Sound-Only Death - death is not shown on-screen but implied
- Empathy Doll Shot, Dead-Hand Shot, Dead Hat Shot - items or a hand represent death (glasses should be related; probably there is a missing supertrope)
- Butterfly of Death and Rebirth and Rule of Symbolism should cover turning into a swarm of butterflies upon death

I agree with ^^ and ^. However, we are currently in discussion to split off "symbolism of dying" from Symbolically Broken Object into a separate trope called Doom Signifying Iconic Item. Broken glasses (as well as if the glasses turned up with somebody else) as a symbol of the wearer's death.

When a character's death is not directly shown, but simply implied by the symbolism, we don't get to see the blood, directly see the result or even the moment it happen, just the implication that they died at the moment and other character's reaction afterward.
Example: Alice is a highschool girl who wears glasses. One day a truck is about hit her when she's on her way home, and we don't get to see the full glory, but instead the screen turn to white with only her glasses remain, the glasses crack with the sound of tires screeching, and shatter into pieces completely with the sound of a solid hit, or, I don't know, she just turn into a swarm of butterflies before the truck hit because of the buttlerfly hairpins she often wear? I'm not really good at the symoblic stuff.
I think a lot of examples involve withered flower or fallen leaves, or sometimes the death of their Animal Motif.
