Big Bad isn't always about "the hero's most personal enemy". (That'd be Arch-Enemy, and the two can overlap.)

That said, if the hero is troubled because of many factors (and many people) at once... I don't know. What's the example you had in mind?

In the purest sense, not having a single Big Bad would be Averted Big Bad.

Sorry for the slow delay guys, busy week. I don't know, perhaps the infamous flashback dance scene from Burton's Sweeney Todd.

Okay, in that case you want Put Them All Out of My Misery of the "eliminate everyone they hold responsible for some (perceived) injustice" variety. Also worth noting that there is a main villain in that particular example: Sweeney Todd is a Villain Protagonist

Thank you, thank you all for trying to help, but none of these is what I am searching for. Here is a made up example.

Say I am a movie character, just a regular young man. I have a journey and encounter various ordinary people, all cause villainous acts on me, but none are villains per say, and say this is everyone else in the movie, every of these ordinary people cause me grief. I do not want all of them to die though or wish anything evil on them.

In addition, say they make me out to be a monster, and I am not. What is that called as well?

Thank you for helping, and sorry if I am making this too complicated.

For the monster part:

  • you want Reluctant Monster if it involves a literal monster. (Bob's a very nice guy, he just happens to be a horrifying Eldritch Abomination that has every village he encounters running for the Torches and Pitchforks)
  • For metaphorical examples, check out:
    • Easily Condemned: people immediately turn on someone at the slightest accusation
    • Mistaken for Murderer and a number of related tropes like Mistaken for Thief found in the Mistaken for Index
    • Hero with Bad Publicity: Bobman saves the city from yet another supervillain. Newspaper's cover headline the next day: "Citizens endangered by reckless vigilante - battered opponent claims self-defense"
    • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: that terrifying-looking machine that mad scientist Bob has been building in the abandoned manufacturing plant? It's actually designed to rehabilitate the heavily polluted marshland near the factory, and process the pollutants into raw materials and low-emission fuels. Turns out he bought the factory when it shut down, and if it works he plans to hire back the laid-off workers, and convert it to mass-produce the things.

Thank you, those are great suggestions, I am iffy with No Antagonist. In the made up story I provided, I would be the protagonist, and others would be antagonists, but there is no big bad, Big Bad (averted). Could No Antagonist (averted) work as well?
