That's a massive reach. I'd cut that on principle.

Yeah that entry gave me bad vibes when I went over that page (which was also full of reaches that felt creepy and inappropriate). I'm glad someone agrees it's a reach.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Definitely a reach, definitely inappropriate, definitely needs to be cut.

I recall that examples of Does This Remind You of Anything? require that the allusion be deliberate. I highly doubt that an edutainment PBS show would make that allusion deliberately, even if the two characters in question weren't kids. It's definitely misuse.

Yeah, get rid of it.

Axe it. PBS Kids's S&P is fairly lax, but I don't think DTRYOA is there for this one.

^^ I've actually never heard of that prerequisite before, though it's been a while since I've been to the trope's cleanup thread so I can't recall if anyone stated allusions have to be deliberate. I'd think it being deliberate would fall under Getting Crap Past the Radar, but that's a non-ATT discussion.

Does This Remind You of Anything? isn't exclusive to sexual or even inappropriate content, it's effectively just about allegory/symbolism, but it does need to be deliberate. Unintentional examples go under Accidental Innuendo or Applicability.

Cut it, and looking over the Arthur examples, the ones directly above and below that one should also be cut due to lack of context
