Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I'd say yeah, they're worth reverting. It's all a lot of weird nonsense, like a tangent on Robert Pattinson wearing makeup for The Batman under But Not Too White, or Hannibal and Buffalo Bill under Captured by Cannibals.
Edited by harryhenryI reverted their edits on Discredited Trope and sent out a natter notifier.
Macron's notesAppreciated. If other people want to go through their other edits and help with cleanup it would be appreciated, there's some kinda iffy stuff (mostly natter and shoehorning, The Batman has plenty of examples, not all of which I've even gotten to).
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Tbh, I think their discussions should be looked through too.
Very few of them are really discussions so much as they are blogs based on whatever the trope page made them think, and even the ones that are really discussions are them complaining rather than repairing.
Choice examples include
Proposing Ben Shapiro is a real life example of Evil Cannot Comprehend Good
Talking about... STALIN fencing off people with AIDS?
Ranting about VCR porn and Michelle Pfiefer's latex outfit
Yet another attempt to effectively stealth insert a real life example to a NRLEP trope
And that's hardly all of them, at the very least, we should probably axe the "it's a real life example of this NRELP trope but it's on the talk page so it's technically okay" stuff.
Edited by Tonwen "Grandmaster Combat, son!"Holy cow, that second one you linked. It's bad. I'm not even linking it; it's that bad.
Edited by ArctimonI just found it utterly baffling, but as far as I can tell, they're making a negative comment about a taxi driver they had that said that.
Not easy to tell as it's written like a stream of consciousness in extremely ambiguous syntax.
Edited by Tonwen "Grandmaster Combat, son!"Update: All the ones I linked are now deleted, but their history still contains plenty of other questionable ones.
"Grandmaster Combat, son!"^Oh, right, forgot to address that. I saved their contents in a post on the private mod forum so they can be looked at later.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. They still seem to be doing it today despite notifiers. I honestly have no idea what they're trying to say in that edit. Will clean-up.
Edited by Atlantis1930Yeah, the Virtual Boy entry they added has nothing to do with the page in question, which seems to be a common theme in both their Discussion posts and their page edits.
A different mod suspended them, so I'll lock this.

natural-strap has been making a ton of natter-y edits to Discredited Trope (history for convenience), usually citing specific examples which are at best entirely unhelpful and at times seem... odd. There seems to be some agenda here as the examples seem to be somewhat politically-charged but I can't glean what the agenda would be as they're all over the place. Which, ultimately, might be a good case that there isn't an agenda.
But they're almost all pointless.
EDIT: Their discussion history can mostly be described as "various screeds."
