Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
What troper is it?
Presumably Gate Star X, who redirected those pages.
Edited by WalkinshadowsYeah It was that one
Comic book pages are being moved away from the "Creator's Title" format.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool. It's probably part of the Comic Book namespace cleanup

But there’s still the issue of that particular page being about a number of comics
When disambiguating a Series by year we always start with the year it came out in.
CM Sandboxes, MB SandboxesIf it's part of a clean-up, they really need to be stating that in the edit reason.

Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty^ Thing is, people have asked Gate Star X to do that multiple times already in different scenarios. For some examples...
Edited by WarJay77 Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessA few other tropers and I have been keeping track of works following the [creator/company name]'s [actual title] format on a dedicated sandbox for a while now, mostly to make discussion about possibly moving them easier by having them all on a single page. It seems that Gate Star X moved nearly all of them - as stated before, they didn't put an edit reason explaining the move at all, though there was at least some discussion in the comic book namespace thread before they decided to start.
That said, I also think they were a little hasty in moving so many of them so quickly. Many of them have very few wicks corrected to the new title, and in at least one case the original page hasn't been made into a redirect (as I write this, Jonathan Hickman's Avengers is still live even after the creation of The Avengers (Jonathan Hickman)). I don't say all this just to gripe - and I know from experience that not every page can have all their wicks moved in a single editing session - but the official policy page about moving pages explicitly recommends doing these things (as well as using edit reasons to explain the move).
Pinball cleanup thread
There’s a troper going around renaming and redirecting pages. I don’t feel it’s necessary and I also don’t see a thread calling for it. An example is changing Jonathan Hickman's X-Men to X-Men (2019). The problem is Jonathan Hickman’s X-Men is a bunch of books, not just the volume that began that year. Is there a reason for this? It seems unnecessary.
