Is this an example? may help you with that, but I'd think Fan-Disliked Explanation works within the work as well. Why is it not in Ace Attorney is because nobody bothered to add it. The previously linked thread can assist with adding examples as well.

^The character in question (Lusamine) is from Pokémon Sun and Moon, so she wouldn't be listed on an Ace Attorney-related page.

Edit: I don't see either Fan-Disliked Explanation or Unintentionally Unsympathetic on either YMMV.Pokemon Sun And Moon or YMMV.Pokemon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon, so I don't know why they were brought up.

Edit: They're not on YMMV.Pokemon, either.

I've never said or implied she should.

The query asks to either 1. remove Lusamine from Fan-Disliked Explanation page on the basis that "Freudian Excuse didn't come from the sequel or supplementary material", or to 2. add Ace Attorney to the page because of "Red Herring villains that feel like Ass Pull".

^I know you weren't proposing anything. I made my previous post because the opening post confusingly mentions a character from one series without mentioning said series, then goes on to mention a completely unrelated series.

(But based on your post, it looks like those were the only parts of that post that I didn't misread. I probably need sleep.)

Edit: As for the definition of Fan-Disliked Explanation as a whole, that would be better suited to Trope Talk in general instead of just the "Is this an example?" thread.

Amonimous summed up what I was asking beautifully
