Based on the Video Games thread of the same name. What comics would you like to see improve? What things, and why?

Sorry if there's already a thread of this.

Paradigm Shift.

I don't feel it needs improvement per say, but updating more than once a week would be divine. tongue

El Goonish Shive, that boy needs to go out, and socialize dagnabbit! And take karate lessons, so I can stop accusing him of not doing the research.

Goblins: Life Through Their Eyes. The art is pretty great (at least in the more quiet scenes; getting to that shortly), but the artist needs to stop distorting characters' faces in moments of high emotion. I don't care how angry someone gets; their face is still stuck to a solid frame of bone. I saw someone describing this artist's faces as looking "almost like they're made of silly-putty". This was meant to be a compliment.

Also, he needs to get better at drawing motion. Particularly in the fight scenes, the lack of credible motion makes it hard to tell what a character is doing. It might have been getting better lately, but I still have problems with it: in the latest page, it took me a few seconds to figure out that Grem was turning the disc.

Arthur King Of Time And Space. The art has barely improved over years (compare the first comic to the most recent) , the writing is inconsistent at best, and worst of all there are so many contrived situations just to emphasize how moral the main characters are (especially in the modern arc). But the premise is incredibly engaging (especially when the comic really lives up to it), and it's a really accessible introduction to the Arthurian legends, which I like.

^The only explanation I can think of is that their pouty lips are Author Appeal.

Every comic where the author's real life concerns have led to a Schedule Slip.

Dresden Codak... having consistently awesome strips like Fabulous Prizes and Advanced Dungeons and Discourse on a schedule that isn't completely ridiculous would be amazing. Instead there's maybe one page a month and to be honest other comics are both deeper and faster.

Shadowgirls. Great premise, decent art, awful awful sense of plotting.

Need I say it? Buckley has so many good ideas, but he's never learned how to express them properly, and he keeps killing the joke. It's a pity he's so arrogant—I'm not sure he's willing to accept that he's not already great, and if he can't do that he can't get better. At least he's been trying to improve his art lately.

That's Feo . . . He's a disgusting, mysoginistic, paedophilic asshat who moonlights as a shitty writer—Something Awful

Kevin And Kell. It started out as amazing, engaging, and pretty funny when it wasn't compelling. The plots these days are weak and easily resolved and the jokes are explained all the time. It's especially difficult for me because it was the first webcomic I ever read and it's getting harder each day for me to keep reading.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

Gnoph could use some consolidation of art style, I think.

Shadowgirls. Great premise, decent art, awful awful sense of plotting.

I couldn't read past the first story, with Deep One Supergirl.

Fuzzy Things: I like the art, but the writing just sucks. The guy really abuses the whole Vitriolic Best Buds angle to the point that I just don't see the characters as friends. Plus, the dialogue is often very awkward.

Agreed. The characters are all really endearing and Dan has some good ideas for storylines, but his dialogue sounds so unrealistic. He needs to go to a Starbucks or some other public place and just sit and listen to how real people talk for a while. And it couldn't hurt to plan his stories out in advance better.
