Troper Updates II, Part II

In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.

Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

No-stealth would probably just be outright attacking guards with no hiding/camo and so on.;

I dunno. I did pretty well in the rail-shooters bit with non-lethal guns. Just waited till good ol' Volgin wasted the shit out of them and abused the meds I've been hoarding since the beginning of the game.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

Am I the only one who never ran out of medical supplies in that game?

Nope. I just abused them in that part to get my Big Boss rank...

I didn't. sad

I really need to find a way to keep this laptop from cutting off all the time...

Okay, Mach does not support enough stuff for me to consider using it even experimentally. So I must find something else to do.

word up, tropers!

Just got back from a week in Florida. I think I've had all the "paradise" and "vacation" I can stomach. Give me my grind, let me wallow in my rut.

Florida: the weather's nice, the girls are pretty and the sin is cheap. However, everyone who lives there is fucking crazy. Carl Hiaasen isn't far wrong with his novel characters, let's just put it that way. I'm glad to get back to the nice, sane, cold, rainy Pacific Northwest.

Zudak, is that from Epic Meal Time?

Because it sounds rather Epic Meal Timey.

I love Epic Meal Time.

Yes it is, Lucky.

I've just discovered it, courtesy of Japanese Teeth.

I am... simultaneously hungry and nauseated.

And also I laughed a lot.

I have been up all night, becoming progressively more and more worried about my dad, who left late in the evening to a party at the pub and did not return. At 6:00 I went looking for him, found the pub closed and quiet (and nobody by the roadside on the way there, thank goodness) and came straight back here.

At 6:15, dad returned, cheerful as you please and not remotely apologetic, and informed me that he had been for "an extended drinking session" round a friend's. When I said I had been up worrying about him, he just pointed out the "considerable irony" and went upstairs.

It is Palm Sunday. He is a Methodist.
