The reboot weapons are very plain though & surprisingly not many bosses.
Nothing really out there or fun. Just simple shit like gauntlets or an axe.
While V has motorcycle buzzsaws & a 3-Form bo staff/nunchuck/3-fold chuck staff & bosses to spare.

yeah, and none of those are half as fun to wield as the gauntlets, because how cool a weapon sounds in theory has little to do with how fun it is to actually use.
Except Balrog, the resident gauntlets, and while I love breakdancing with demon boots I still prefer Eryx in terms of pure pleasure of wielding them.
the guns are the real weakpoint of the reboot, cause 5 has the Kalina Ann.

which one, Balrog ? Cause Eryx just looks like shit. Litteral shit. the cutscene where donte gets them makes them super offputting in the shape they have, but I certainly wouldn't say they look like they're made of scrap metal.
Balrog looks fine in 5, not seeing it either.

Yes I meant Eryx, it looks like smelted metal.
Cavaliere was extremely enjoyably though, definitely my favorite weapon outta V.

Huh. Never thought about smelted metal. I guess I can sorta see it but my mind is too busy screaming at how ugly it looks on Donte's arms.

I disagree, I can understand the demon weapons being considered generic, but I wouldn't say the same thing for the angel weapons.
Especially since Dante still hasn't used any scythe or chakram in his armory.

There is one series that I would sacrifice a life to Mundus to get the Castlevania animated team to do. Devil May Cry is good, but i want them to do Metroid. So, so bad.
Samus and Dante already have one degree of separation thanks to all the crossovers both have been in anyways.

I haven’t really played Metroid, but from what I know about it, that team could probably do a really good job with it.
I finished the first game this morning. I know I can do it on other difficulties and stuff, but I don’t feel like it right now. Maybe with the others, but not this one. It was fun, though.
Now I’m playing 3 and I’m on mission 2. Nice to know that I can replay stuff anytime once I’ve cleared it. Sounds useful for getting red orbs. And wow, this is hard right out the gate. Going to need some time to get used to everything and get good. :P It’s not like it’s my first time playing these sorts of games. Just takes practice and patience.
Also, the game asked me when I started if I wanted gold or yellow, without explaining. I’m guessing that’s about whether revives work like the newer games or the older ones, right?

Some People are just Salty that Narmaya is cute and that she's a Vergil esque swordsman witha Vergil Pallete.
If anything, She's more Last Blade then anything else.
