Tons Of Teeth? Fine for a redirect, anyway, probably not a great main name.
I guess it is.That may sounds stupid, but who's the Osmond Family and do they have to do with teeths?
Here are some suggestion:
More Teeth than Jaws
Whole Lotta Teeth
Teeths Galore
Pletora dentata
A Dentist's Dream
Gratuitously Toothy
Gratoothitous
Pearly Whites Overload

This is usually applied to creatures that not only have a lot of teeth, but lots of sharp pointy teeth.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Or people with very bright white toothy smiles.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The trope description specifies "monsters with a lot of teeth". So I'm guessing people with big toothy smile is not really a part of the trope, though we could had a line to allow for things such as Liefield-like abominations.
I don't like Toothy Grin because it,s not a smile trope, it's a teeth tropes. I really think something with Jaws in it would be kinda cool. since both Jaws (the shark) and Jaws (the Bond villain) have teeth as a defining characteristic.
Big Pointy Teeth? Probably more of a redirect...
~PirkaBig toothy smiles that are scary have their own tropes, like Cheshire Cat Grin or Slasher Smile. Do we have one that's covered in mouths like we do with Eyes Do Not Belong There?
Fight smart, not fair.I don't know who are the Osmond family, but they are a family, so if something has more teeth than them, it must have lots of teeth.
A redirect will be enough, the title is a bit goofy, but not misleading or even unintuitive.
I like Toothy Grin. I really really don't like the actual trope name...

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Toothy Grin sounds good, but will probably lead to some serious trope degradation.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. Then we can just change it to "More Teeth than a Whole Family". I don't see the point of having a trope namer that is explained nowhere on the page and that no one knows who it is.
This title has brought 148 people to the wiki from non-search engine links since 20th FEB '09.
Is that a argument for or agaisnt a rename?
I,m not necessarily for a rename if someone explain too me who is the trope Namer, Why it's the trope Namer, and put that explanation in the trope page.
Family of pop singers from the 1970s, most prominently Donny and Marie Osmond. They're known for having really, really huge smiles.
Take a look◊. And recall that this was back in the 70's, when veneers and tooth bleaching were unheard of...
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.... wow. All this time I've been reading the trope title as "More Teeth Than The Osbourne Family". Not quite the same thing.
personally, i have only a very vague idea of who these osmond people are, but i feel the "more teeth than" part gives it more than enough context. i don't think it needs to be renamed.
More a contributing idea. It's got decent wicks, it really just needed a good redirect.
Fight smart, not fair.I think the name is fine, because not knowing who the family in question is, the idea that something has more teeth than an entire family no matter who they are is rather illustrative of the trope. You could put any name in there and I'd understand it.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThis thread expired after 60 days of inactivity.
There's no redirects for that trope, I can't think of any. Have at it.
