Another gameplay question involving Persona 3 Reload.
So the Great Clock has a random chance of appearing whenever you use Twilight Fragments in Tartarus... But has anyone already figured out the math or numbers regarding its exact chance or probability? It seems like the SMT/Persona Wiki hasn't detailed it yet.
I would've wanted to provide a level boost for my Koromaru and Mitsuru who were underleveled, but I was unlucky in my Tartarus run yesterday from opening locked chests with the fragments I've saved up. For around 2 hours of exploring, the Great Clock didn't appear.
Right now, I'm looking into methods on efficiently farming Twilight Fragments to "recover" that wasted amount. Worse, I'll see if Save Scumming works until the Great Clock appears.
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationThe Great Clock is such a terrible mechanic. I miss Mishima.
Heart of StoneIs that like a new secret boss or Metal Slime enemy or something?
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I wanna say 20, based on the testing found in this thread.
Been checking out P5 Strikers again.
Love this one
BTW, I don't know if anyone is aware, but another comics adaptation of Persona 3 is happening, this time by Webtoons.

Too late to the punch to help I think, but I beat Okumura using single-target elemental items to build up baton-passes.
Posting this here to get more eyes, there's discussion as to whether Aigis or Yukari is the Implied Love Interest in the game version of Persona 3.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Pretty sure it's both. Like how Rise is the implied love interest of Persona 4 because the game is the most shippy with her, but then Golden comes and Marie is pushed even harder as a love interest. And then it repeats in Persona 5 with Makoto and Sumire.
Rise does have slight more candy here.
Like it's prolly values dissonance (afaik Japan does have regional idols as a thing), but it is rather strange seeing a pop idol living in a rural community like that.
Makoto is less incongruent here with student presidents being a common anime trope (been a while so her being one is more of an iirc thing) and the more urban setting if P5.

... what? I literally cannot parse what you're saying, sorry.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I thought the rule of thumb was basically whoever the Lovers Arcana was would most likely be the primary intended love interest. Though they definitely push more than 1 per game from 3 up, especially with bonus content. And then there's stuff like Elizabeth that got expanded in spinoff content (P 4 Arena) and well it gets tricky.
Yukari definitely has Feelings for the protag, but that doesn't mean anything by itself (right, Melia?)
Heart of Stone2 has a gay option, so all others are invalid.
"No will to break."TBH the main reason I'm not a big fan of Tatsuya/Maya is the age difference
Heart of StoneI dunno if I'd say P3 really has a main implied love interest? But if it does, it's probably Aigis, especially since she's more popular.
As the person who started the discussion I wanted to respond to the Lover's Arcana concept.
So in Persona 2, I prefer Tatsuya with Lisa, that game's Lover's Arcana. But to be frank? She's a bonafide Stalker With a Crush and Tatsuya is only disinterested at best and annoyed at worst.
Then in Persona 4, I've picked Rise everytime I've played it, but while the game is very explicit with her side, there's again nothing there to say Yu feels the same, even in the anime.
Then in Persona 5, Ann is never confirmed to have a crush on Joker.
There's definitely a correlation between Lover's characters and liking the protagonist, but in the grand scheme they seem very one-sided.
Characters like Leia from Tales of Xillia or Ichigo from Darling in the Fran XX seem like they'd be Lover's Arcana to me.

Note: The Lovers arcana is a representee of two paths and the person must make a choice or finding an agreement between the two options.
IE Rise being conflicted in returning to showbiz and Ann conflicted with Modeling and Shiho.
Its not an actual Romance arcana.

This too. Magician Arcanas aren't actual Magicians, Emperor Arcana aren't actual Emperors, etc
So what's Yukari's conflict then?
One Strip! One Strip! In the main story, it's coming to terms with her father, whether she should abandon his memory or continue to fight for his legacy.
In her Social Link it's the same but with her mother, trying to decide whether to let her mother back in her life and give blessings to her mother's new marriage, or keeping her mother at a distance.
The whole SEES thing as she views even being awake during the dark hour a horrendous curse and how she is conflicted with Mitsuru who she blames for this but knows the only way out of this. Conflicted about talking about her past like being estranged from her mom for 3 years and her Dad who was one of those on the team that caused this whole thing.
Just about everything about her is just kinda stuck between one bad choice or another.
Well put.
Personally I think Yukari is an excellent character. She shows a lot of strength in her ability to persist and yet also repeatedly shows a willingness to admit when she is in the wrong and apologize for it.
It makes me kinda sad that - YMMV incoming - a lot of fans focus on her attraction to the protag at the detriment of everything else, when it's not really a major part of her character imo (besides in the Answer). Her relationship with Mitsuru is more central in a lot of ways.
With Aigis meanwhile you pretty much have to mention her relationship with the protag, albeit the motives dont become romantic until later in the game.

Honestly, Yukari's original English VA was just way too bitchy sounding in just about every line and her character just came off wrong.
Reload's VA is an improvement but missing a bit in the key moments.

Is it ever revealed how Koromaru operates his Evoker? Like, I figure it functions like some sort of shock collar, essentially an animal version of the guns, but how is it activated?
