Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

This is why people don't like John Gray.
Kill all math nerdsThat's quite the broad brush there, John.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Is trying to replace your reality with a website and all the people on it healthier than having a relationship with real people?
NO!
Well, maybe if you're solipsistic, but then you've got more problems than trying to replicate reality.

Hey, on the subject of John Gray, isn't there a distinction between Nihilism and defeatist bullshit?

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.I hate it when people spout off about how "manipulative" they are.
It makes me want to hurt them.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....It's too bad you (a general "you") don't actually get to hurt people who make you want to hurt them.
Heapers’ HangoutUgh, manipulation...

Just one hit on the head with a hammer, that will teach them I swear.....
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Doesn't claiming yourself to be manipulative blow your cover?

I can't even finish the sentence, it's too stupid.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Hence my point.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....Then again, villains are an egotistic lot, so it's not enough for them to be manipulative. They also have the contradictory desire to have the world know of their brilliance.
Alternatively, claiming they are manipulative, making you doubt how manipulative they are, could be all part of their plan.
I on the other hand actually have manipulated people using their emotions but I hate myself for doing so.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Not necessarily. Depending on the context, it might be read as a sort of wink-wink-nudge-nudge way of saying "I trust you enough to blow my cover to you", kind of like saying "I'm such a dick" to a friend. Since that implies that you're not going to abuse your trust, it can actually be a disarming way of building intimacy in some circumstances.
I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard.Oh hai, Littlefinger.
Kill all math nerdsYeah, Littlefinger's probably the best example of that gambit in fiction. He's really good at the whole "dark side sociology" thing.

Best. Snowclone. Ever.

You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat!
