This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

A forum suspension should not affect the Cut List, but we've had enough issues with site permissions lately that I wouldn't be surprised if there's a problem.
Yes, I acknowledged that was a wrong way to do things, and I apologize. I promise to do it properly and contact the relevant threads in the future.
I have also said that I have no intention of either going back to that page, or creating other unreleased work pages, so there's no "danger" of me going back to such edit-warring in the future.
Like I said, that case was my mistake, and also an anomaly in the history of my contributions. I have made thousands of edits this year, and 99%+ of them were completely uncontroversial, being about adding page images, expanding indexes, alphabetising tropes and creating work pages that were missing for years. This is the kind of contributions I intend to resume once I get unsuspended.
I hope that we understand each other.

Well a while back I made separate work pages for the 1937, 1954, and 1976 versions of A Star Is Born. I de-wicked everything and made a request to cut the original A Star Is Born page, which had been doing triple duty, and the request never showed up, and the original A Star Is Born page still exists.
It's not really that important except that yesterday I noticed that the Akira Kurosawa film High and Low is now showing up with the custom title High&Low. Earlier this year somebody made a work page for a series called High&Low, and got a custom title with the ampersand, so now it shows up for the film too. My first instinct was to transport everything for the Kurosawa movie to a work page with the URL High and Low (1963), but then I'd have the same Cut List problem.
Anyway, hardly urgent, I was just wondering.

Thank you for pointing me to those two pages they were quite informative, wish I knew about them a long time ago, if I had stumbled across them in the past I'm afraid it would have been many years ago likely before I even had an account. Anyway once again I apologize for any inconvenience that I may have caused and hope the suspension can be lifted soon.

Maybe a dumb question but how many correct examples do I have to write before I can edit again?
What about it? No one invited me for a fucking discussion so I never knew there was a fucking problem. It's been weeks (hell, maybe even a month) since I'v been in that page, so if I really "did something wrong", why not take time to inform me right away instead of giving a fucking blindsiding suspension after a long period of time!?

~Fighteer Sorry for not getting to this sooner, as I have been busy the past few weeks (IRL does suck sometimes).
However, that is fair to me, actually. My only fear that was there is that TV Tropes didn't become what places like Reset Era is right now. Hearing what you said - that there could have been an investigation into the bias as it was beforehand had there been someone who called it out - I could have done that instead (and I might still do that - address it in the forums, that is - if it was never cleaned up or reverted back). As I said, I had contributed to this site several times without incident, so this was a hiccup. Though it might have been good to address the situation, the way I chose to do it wasn't the best course of action.

I was just trying to transfer Xenoblade's Memetic Mutation examples to Xenoblade's Memes Page, so I think this isn't an Edit War (at least I think it is). Sorry if I caused for any confusion, and I'll promise not to Edit War like that again, and I'll at least state my reasons properly If I do a similar thing like that next time.

~NTC3: The comments left in VideoGame.Age Of Wonders Planetfall clearly state why those examples were hidden and point you at the proper place to discuss them. You ignored them completely and engaged in an Edit War. There is nothing ambiguous here at all.
