Check recent changes. Using the filter (the "look for:" box at the top of the list) will show all the icons which have been selected.
All the icons are 16x16.

Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyThere, SSOT's scroll, scaled to 16x16
since we are merging these all together here is my suggestion for the shout out icon
just needs a little resizing.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Doesn't that sign mean "Warning danger ahead"? I'm not sure the link is fully evident to me, beside the exclamation mark...
For the Series namespace, a tiny TV
How about a speech balloon with the "!" inside it?
Heapers’ HangoutBrilliant
Here's my first attempt:
Gonna try tweaking it a little...
Edit: Ok, second third attempt:

Heapers’ HangoutIt seems a bit too busy to make both the speech bubble and exclamation mark out clearly. It could be done though however let me also try an exclamation mark in some quotes:
I wonder if we should add Crowning Music of Awesome icon too.
Upon further thought, Central Avenue's third attempt but in black might be best:
sorry for the bump but possible Crowning Music icon?◊ could probably use some editing though. Edit: Disregard that one, this is much better◊. Maybe this for So Bad It's Horrible?◊ I have an idea for So Bad It's Good (someone pointing and laughing) but I have no idea how to make it 16x16 pixels

The Heartwarming heart still needs to be transferred over to the "new" namespace.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaAnd now that there's been a post... here's one for complete monster.◊ And a possible new regular music icon.◊

We don't need a separate namespace for everything, especially not Complete Monster. That can go in Subjectives.
“Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?”Oh, I know all these dont need a button, I made a lot of these for the recent edits, as the icons happen there too
That last one could be used for theatre versions, like the Broadway production of Les Miserables as compared to the book.

Never be without a Hat! Hot means heat. I don't care if your usage dates to 1300, it's my word, not yours. My Pm box is open.Thats pretty much what they're all for. From left to right they are: Anime, Manga, Comics, Literature, Tabletop Games, Web Original, Webcomics, Radio, and two variations of drama. Also, one for Memetic Mutation◊

since this thread is already here, i figure i might as well draw some more attention to this:
there's been talk here about icons for a possible /Crowning Music namespace. we've run into the caveat that this namespace can't follow the format of the /Awesome, /Funny or /Heartwarming namespaces, because the /Music namespace already exists and is being used for something else (mainly music bands and such). it already has an icon that links in /Main pages, regardless of whether the band with that name is at all related to the work with that name.
any idea what we can do with this?

Awesome Music makes the most sense to me. A treble clef for the icon maybe.
that could definitely work, just making sure to ask before since it won't fit the format of the other namespaces that used to be "crowning."
that said, do the pages in the Music/ namespace need to link to the Main/ namespace? for example, in the other thread, there was the Dragon Force example— it has a Music/ namespace page for the band (which the Main/ entry also redirects to), and a Game/ namespace page for a game of the same name. the game and the band aren't related at all, yet the Game/ page has tabs which lead to both Main/ and Music/ pages. is that really necessary? or am i the only one who gets totally confused by that? (i tend to think if an entry has a Music/ tab, it should be used for music related to that entry. but maybe that's just me).
There are other examples of unrelated works with exactly the same names. Outlander vs Film.Outlander. Another World vs Game.Another World. Heart Of Darkness vs. Game.Heart Of Darkness.
I noted that we have several topics calling for icons for specific namespaces. I thought it would be more efficient if a thread could be made for identifying namespaces in need of an icon and discussing possibilities for them, while keeping track of the icons that exist already to make sure that they are all distinguishable or even related when necessary.
Perhaps a longer discussion thread would be better off in Wiki Talk but since the icon threads are all here and the people interested in them will be here, I thought the Tech Wishlist would be the best starting point.

I recall seeing threads for Shout-Out, Memes and Games. I think games found a good one and I think games is a natural priority due to the large number of video games and card games based on licensed works.
There's all the continuing problem of Troper Tales which is the most common namespace to not have a symbol. OK, Laconic also doesn't but that's on purpose and suits the namespace. However having both without a symbol is like having two with the same symbol. I can't figure out which one it is with an easy flick of the eye. Also it seems to demean the Laconic Wiki and make it subdued compared to other icons while it should actually be one of the most important icons to newcomers.
I suggest a scroll for Troper Tales. Something like this: Also perhaps we could make Laconic appear in bold text?
