Do power outages right before victory count? If so, that happened most recently with Megahammer

Oh, this ones always fun. I've been inched out in Mario Kart when playing multiplayer thanks to sliding on a banana peel seconds before crossing the finish line.
The term "Great Man" is disturbingly interchangeable with "mass murderer" in history books.Less than one percent health left with Heroic Blood Queen Lana'thel. (We did kill her on a later attempt.)
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Rubber-Band A.I. needs to die.

PM me if you add me on any.General Tor on Ultimortal difficulty - I was down to 2 HP (in other words, the next hit would be a kill), and he was finally down to enough of his health that the next reflected chargeball would be a killshot (and don't even effing ask how many times I had to retry in order to get that far). He charges and fires, I have my finger perched over the 'X' key anxiously waiting... and fire a frame too soon. Reflector does nothing, chargeball hits, I die, RAEG Ensues.
Yes, and so do power outages right after victory, but before you get a chance to save the game. >:(
WWE Day of Reckoning 2. Fatal four way cage match.
Logged: The commanding officer is aboard. XO Pressley stands relieved.Last quarter of the last health bar of Remilia Scarlet on "Red Magic". Zero lives, zero bombs. Ate a bullet at the wrong time.
Also, halfway through Scourge Sign "Mishaguji-sama" against Suwako and lost my last life as Marisa Bugged.

"Allah may guide their bullets, but Jesus helps those who aim down the sights."^^^Same situation but with Asha 2. I got his health down pretty low, then I died. Beat him later.
Also, GENTLY CARESS BLUE SHELLS!
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Burnout Revenge drove me nearly insane on a Sunshine Keys Road Rage. I think I needed 30 takedowns, and I kept getting about 29. I tried it like 30 times.
Then my friend came over, picked up the game, and on his FIRST time ever playing the game, beat that event.

"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-WraithFirst boss (Narmer) in Etrian Odyssey 3. I got him down to the last sliver of health and he dives under the mud. No problem, I've got a ninja in the party who used Bunshin (creates a perfect and fully functional clone of the character) so I can have everyone attack one of the spots Narmer might be hiding in. A ninja misses him and at the end of the turn Narmer pops out with an Earthquake and one-shots pretty much my entire party. Needless to say, I wasn't able to recover.
I'm not sure if that was just bad lack or if missing Narmer when he's submerged makes him use Earthquake rather than move to another spot.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is the fucking epitome of this. Especially Rush, where you'd be a minute away from winning when someone successfully trolls your M-COM station and the timer gets reset. Repeat until we're at the very end praying we don't get our asses kicked and can hold out a little longer.
The Battlefield1942 campaign occasionally went into this, especially Axis side of Wake Island. FUCK.
Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.Super Mario Kart has no blue shells—yet another reason it's the best :]
It Just Bugs MeRunning out of time just before the last Purple Coin on Galaxy 2's Luigi's Purple Coins.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Yeah, this happens to me pretty often.
Street Fighter 4 + Seth + Him unleashing some maga-cheap pseudo combo on me right when I have one more hit until he's done for = AAAAAAAHHHH
Braig had like, 1 pixel worth of HP left, when he Death of a Thousand Shots me, right when I tried to cast Cure.
But I got him back good on my next try.
https://www.fanfiction.net/u/548347/Iji Sector X Ultimortal, I have finally beat Asha 2, and the timer kills me in the last (or second-to-last) elevator.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Super Smash Bros. Melee, 15 Minute Melee. Donkey Kong, Down+B for 15 minutes. I got thrown off the field when the timer stood at 00:42.

You know those times when you're so close on finishing a game/level/boss/challenge, but then you get screwed over at the last moment.
Yeah, basically what's this thread's about.
Recently had this fighting Abyss from Marvel vs. Capcom 2. But given I suck horribly at that game and my 360 controller isn't exactly kind in this game, I doubt it count.
It's more frustrating waiting for the asskicking than the asskicking itself.
