Needs Help: Characters.Honkai Impact3rd

Following on from the post here, some of the character pages for Honkai Impact 3rd have 5+ images per character.

It's been suggested that this is handled on a single IP thread, to see how many we want to keep.

(It's been pointed out that some of these are different variants of the character, not just costume changes, but they're sharing a single character sheet so - at the moment - the Characters page treats them as a the same person)

As shown below, all but the first image for each character is behind a labelnote. Views?

My opinion:

• Move anything we cut to image links, so that they can be easily reinstated if there's a character sheet split
• Add an IP comment requesting a new thread for any more additional images for existing characters on these pages, to stop the list getting longer

• Murata Himeko - keep 1.1, weak keep for 1.5 and 1.6 behind labelnote

• Theresa Apocalypse - keep 1.7

• Kiana Kaslana - keep 1.12, weak keep for 1.17 and 1.18 behind labelnote

• Raiden Mei - keep 1.19 or 1.21 (I'm assuming 19 is more representative of the starting character, but I prefer 21 as an image), weak keep for 1.26 and 1.27 (1.25 isn't a great image, imho, even if that version of the character's notably different)

• Bronya Zaychik - keep 1.28 or 1.33 (again, I'm assuming 1.28 is more representative, but 1.33 looks better), very weak keep for 1.35, 1.36 and/or 1.37 behind labelnote.

• Fu Hua - keep 1.38, weak keep for 1.43 behind labelnote

I don't have time to do a deep dive on this ATM, but it's complicated with these characters, and with HI3 characters in general. All of the images represent different playable variations of the characters, but some are far more story-driven than others and represent significant changes in the respective characters as their arcs progress both individually and together.

Okay, getting back to this...I've pinged the game's thread in the Video Games forum for extra input, but the thread's been dead for about a month so I'm not exactly hopeful there.

The default images for each character are how they're depicted when they first appear in the game's story sections. Several of the variants appeared when the game was first released, and the rest appeared in subsequent updates...I can break that down but it would be time-consuming and maybe not that important. By character:

I'll get to Fu Hua tomorrow, she's bit more complicated...and I'm about to fall asleep.

So, if we're going to move any pics to IL, here's my votes:

• Himeko: Keep her default and 1.6
• Theresa: Keep her default, none of the others are really significant enough to warrant leaving here
• Kiana: Keep 1.12, 1.14, 1.17, and 1.18
• Mei: Keep 1.19 and 1.25 - 1.27
• Bronya: Keep 1.28 and 1.35 - 1.37
• Fu Hua: Keep 1.38, 1.42, and 1.43

I think I'm personally good with that. Theresa's default is 1.7, isn't it?

The one caveat I'd have would be that if we're keeping 4 images for a character (even if 3 are behind labelnotes), I think the text needs to explain why they're all important. But that's a challenge for the character page cleanup thread, not IP.
