Current is a specific subtrope, Rebus Bubble, so I'd revert. The current might be moved to Rebus Bubble because it has better quality.

Eh, idk I think it could work for either page. So 1.2 gets my vote for either Pictorial Speech-Bubble or Rebus Bubble.
Honestly I think revert to 1.1 and move 1.2 to Rebus Bubble. I disagree about 1.1 being "too wordy" I think it's just the right amount of contrast, and funny to show one character can understand the other when the audience might not be able too.

Honestly, yeah, I like the confusion and chaos in Rebus Bubble's current image.
Personally I dislike it for that reason it's too busy for my taste. I like 1.2 as it's simpler.
