Wasn't Speed referenced in one of the films? The Sonic films are terrible now, they make no sense.

Hmm, a stoic edgy badass with a gun and a tragic backstory is being voiced by Keanu Reeves. Not sure if that role suits him.

Well, whatever, anti-hero who uses guns, I guess Shadow can't stay away from those things.

Everyone's talking about John Wick and Neo, but I think Reaves will channel his inner Ted.

At least is not Haydensen. Guy already worked for a dark, tragic figure in a toxic fanbase, don't give him another headache.

Yep, I'll be the minority here that is none too fond of this choice.

We'll see if Keanu is any better than Kirk.

I pretty much said this was the perfect choice the moment I saw the Stinger so yeah, I'm excited.

Well. This is an absolute win in my book. And I'm kinda surprised at how soon they confirmed it when someone spread a rumor about it.

Now I just need to see a trailer to confirm if this will be the one movie where I need to ask for a day off from work.

Seriously though, HOLY F*CKING CRAP!

I mean, someone did fan animation of Shadow with John Wick lines more than two years ago, so it's a start?

He's going to say "I'm the coolest" and everyone will give 3 hour standing ovation.

No. Everyone is just citing some random guy on YouTube who himself told everyone watching to not take him at his word because he’s not an official source.

Guessing Shadow will be like the last video game character Reeves did Johnny Silverhand.

I don't hate it, but I'm just waiting until I hear his voice as Shadow in action before I make any judgments.

The Hollywood Reporter has said he will be voice by Reaves, and Wikipedia has also updated to reflect that (not always the most reliable source, but still). So while I don't know if Paramount has officially announced it, it does go beyond a single man on You Tube.

Here’s the thing though, that random guy on YouTube is The Hollywood Reporter’s only source, they don’t cite anything else in the article.
