Suggestion: Cow Tools

Based on the previous thread on Cow Tools from back in 2012, the reason for deleting the original Cow Tools image is that it was from the Far Side - and Gary Larson doesn't like his work online.

However, there is actually a fair bit of fan art done of the original "Cow Tools" comic that (while obviously inspired by Larson's work) aren't actually by Larson. Here are some examples:

Thoughts? Could any of these work for the page image?

(Also, I assume we would need the permission of the original artists for this)

I don't really like any of those better than the original comic, TBH.

Plus, the original comic isn't just unusable because Larson doesn't want his work posted— it's also a single-panel comic that we'd need permission for. We'd need permission for all of these.

Edit: Plus, I'd like to try and get something that isn't the trope namer. The trope is one I'd never heard of until now and seems fairly complicated, and IDK if the comic would even illustrate it.

After looking at the definition and the examples, I'm kinda tempted to call this a BUPKIS case.

Those suggestions, but BUPKIS; a picture of a laboratory with machinery of undefined usage should work fine.

Maybe a crop of third panel?

The name is ambiguous, using a reference to the original strip would be illustrating the title and not the trope.

Third panel could work, but if the crop's too wide, that'd make the text unreadable (the text is not important anyway, so maybe it's the best if the speech bubbles are completely cropped off).
