Glitch Productions (SMG4, Meta Runner, etc.)

If you aren’t familiar with Glitch Productions, they’re a company that specializes in 3D web animation. Their main series is SMG 4, which started as a simple Mario 64 blooper series, but gradually grew into its own as a wacky comedy with occasional dramatic moments and arcs. They have also created two fully original series so far: Meta Runner, a cyberpunk action series, and Sunset Paradise, a spinoff of SMG 4 starring Meggy, and her adventures in Port Aurora.

As of writing this, the 9th and penultimate episode of Sunset Paradise has just dropped:

Wait, what happened to Tari's VA?

I actually considered commenting something about ”How do we know it’s true and not something taken out of context/a lie?” when the ”controversy” began, but I refrained because I realized it might come across as potential victim-blaming or treating the potential victims as ”guilty until proven innocent.” And also because higher-ups turn out to be greedy, abusive assholes distressingly often, so it being the case here would, sadly, not be surprising.

I REALLY don’t like scepticism being my kneejerk reaction, trust me, but as a Hellaverse fan, that’s what’s started to happen when stuff like this rears its head: Vivziepop has to deal with accusations like these ALL THE TIME, and almost every single case of it has turned out to be a big nothingburger based on either misinderstandings regarding how the industry works, cherrypicking quotes and taking them out of context or just flat-out lies, all of which is fueled and spread by her hatedom as part of their neverending harassment and bullying campaign.

We’ll have to see how this case develops further, I suppose; Is there a kernel of truth to it, or are we dealing with a ”Viv-hater” situation where somebody decided to make this up to discredit Glitch out of spite or just because they can? There are still a lot of unknowns here.

Tari’s VA was replace in a recent SMG4 without Kevin telling the original VA.

Bumping with news. Glitch released a statement on their Twitter about recent accusations:

Some important thing to note: prior to the apology letter, it looks like Kevin was doxxed. I'm not sure exactly if that led to him writing the letter, but regardless this situation has become chaotic.

That apology didn't even mention the VA you kown the reason why this all started in the first place.

In light of Rooster Teeth shutting down, Kevin has tweeted that he will never sell Glitch to Warner Brothers Discovery.

Wouldn't it be funny if WBD responded to that by selling Rooster Teeth IPs like RWBY, Camp Camp, and Death Battle to Glitch for twelve bucks, a high-five, and a tax writeoff?

In Rooster Teeth's defence they never sold to Warner either. They sold to Fullscreen who after several years and purchases got bought by Warner

Unless you sell direct to a competitor you're never truly safe from Warner Brothers Discovery.

I’m out of the loop, what exactly happened with Tari’s old voice actor.

About three-four Saturday videos ago, they replaced Tari's VA WITHOUT EVEN TELLING the old VA until they found out alongside us. Then things got crazier from there.

After 14 months and four "arcs", the Puzzlevision Saga has finally concluded.

And we still have a bunch of unanswered questions.

How many questions did we even have left after Revelations and the Cosmology stuff was all said and done?

All I want to know is where has Swagmaster's pal Chris been? he hasn't been in any videos in a while.
