Image Links Clean-up and Maintenance

Image Links seems to be a neglected namespace, almost never being subject of Image Pickin' and suffering from general image issues. In this thread, we are going to clean up, expand, and hopefully promote the namespace.

Let’s start things off with this Cowboy BeBop at His Computer link, which suffers from being JAFAAC, except the «caption» has a grammar one should go to jail for, and most likely is a ROCEJ violation:

That entry was added in 2013 by a now permabanned troper, on top of the above issues. Nobody would mourn if it was deleted.

I have encountered this kind of problem before specifically on the now-deleted ImageLinks.The Dragon which was nothing but JAFAAC images.

I've come across a couple more Image Links pages that just have a single image and no links to speak of. In some cases, I've seen IL pages with an image that's identical to the one on the main page and nothing else. Here are a couple of examples of the former.

Since they are for a respective medium of expression, I say they can be cut.

Ideally, there shouldn't be duplication of a page pic on an IL page; any such cases can be removed.

Is that what's going on?

I'd just cutlist ImageLinks.Film and ImageLinks.Video Games; I see no point in having Image Links subpages for entire mediums.

Those would make sense as indices for other IL pages, but it doesn't look like that's a project anyone feels like maintaining.

Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.

• A lot of the images on ImageLinks.Hate Sink don't show the characters doing anything hateable. It previously had an Image Pickin' thread on it, and more bad images have been added since then.
• ImageLinks.Creepy Child has a picture of Villager that was presumably added because it was a meme. It used to just be his SSB4 render◊ which I changed to an image of him holding an axe◊... is that good enough to keep? It also links to The BBC's test card F,◊ which shows a real girl and isn't intentionally creepy.

On Spider People, there are some dead links such as the obe for Lolth◊ and the first drider example.◊ If no replacements are given, they will go.

I thought ImageLinks.Overarching Villain was suspicious since the main Overarching Villain trope doesn't have an image. As I suspected the thing is full of Just a Face and a Caption images, I couldn't check all of them but I have a feeling there isn't a single good image on there.

Yeah, that looks like like it's pretty much all JAFAAC.

Is it a problem that the images on ImageLinks.Refuge In Audacity don't show the "refuge" part? The description "Found some audacious image examples that need a refuge? Here's your place!" seems to encourage this. The Joker image was actually on the main Refuge in Audacity page, but removed after TRS.

I checked all the images and yeah at best they only show a face and several don't even work.
