Spoiler: Deletion As Punishment

This image is a massive ending spoiler for NieR. We should pull it.

Previous thread. Done and tagged; ideas?

Only thing I can think of that isn't a spoiler or otherwise difficult to illustrate would be Mr. Resetti threatening to delete the player's save in Animal Crossing.

I don't actually have any Bumblebee icons, I just think the nickname is funny.

Here's what the Resetti example could look like, using screenshots from this video (I stitched this image together myself, so apologies for any quality issues).

Also, here's the bottom screenshot on its own in case that works better.

Meh, I'm not really feeling either suggestion. They are too text-reliant and don't really show the spirit of the trope. It just shows some character named Resetti who wants to reset your progress.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.

Isn't that the same problem as Mr. Resetti? Being text reliant?

I'm not opposed but we'll need to change the page quote if we go with this.

Anyone who can find an illustration for this that involves zero text has my admiration.

It is better than Mr. Resetti because the text is saying it's a punishment for something the player is pulling rather than a vague "reset your progress".

x5 is the page quote. I'm switching my vote to 8 due to it being higher quality.

Use the Banjo-Kazooie one (16) since it at least includes a button press prompt, thus showing the mechanic.

Swap the Gruntilda page quote with what Resetti says in 5/8.
